Superica
– “where sunshine spends the winter” – also known as Tex-Mex cuisine served in an Old-West-inspired atmosphere alongside music inspired by Austin.

The cuisine is a combination of 1950s Tex-Mex and the wood grill that has taken the food to another level by way of fajitas and more. An “evolved Tex-Mex menu,” includes the classics: tacos, nachos, tamales and enchiladas plus more intricate dishes such as wood-grilled fajitas and shrimp tacos always served with just-made flour tortillas, all while paying homage to the traditions and recipes that have been a part of the Texas culture for decades.

We went to celebrate a couple of birthdays - the folks at Superica Krog Street went above and beyond to make our birthday dinner special and memorable. A+ job.

Wow!!! Just wow!!! Superica, Krog Street, really won my heart tonight. We’ve celebrated quite a few birthdays at Superica over the years along with many Friday night date nights and family meals throughout the year. Superica @ Krog is our absolute city favorite. We’ve been fans for a while now yet tonight took it to the next level. My youngest daughter wanted to surprise me with reservations at one of our family favorites. She took it upon herself to make the reservation and add a little note that we are celebrating her mom’s 44th birthday. We requested server, RJ. He’s a blast! We sat at his table the week before. Boy, did the Superica team show up!! Happy Birthday galore complete with a sign, hand written card, flowers, queso, and excellent service!! 2nd mile service! Superica always gets it right with delicious food, drinks, and service yet tonight they won a fan for life!! Y’all it’s a little things, the personal touches, attention to detail, that truly knocked it out of the park. Thank you all — what a fun surprise, excellent meal, and excellent service. Keep being the special and wonderful team that you are!

Superica at Krog has been a favorite of ours for years. We moved just outside of the city and returned recently for a little staycation and dinner for my husband’s bday. The restaurant manager Sam and his staff went above and beyond to make it so memorable. The pork belly carnitas were the theme for the night and they absolutely delivered on that request. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful. The food is terrific. The drinks are amazing. 10/10.

Brunch is the best part of Superica to be honest. The pancakes are to die for. Also, Kayla was a great server! She engaged with us and made an effort to get to know us, but also knew when to let us enjoy our meal. We'll be requesting her again when we come back!

Superica is a favorite of ours and always has been. We made reservations for my partners birthday and they were extremely accommodating even amidst a mistake I made with the reservation special requests. We will always choose Superica for any occasion <3
