   Service very chaotic. I was also sat alone at my table waiting for my partner more than 20min before someone took my drink order. GF request was accommodated but told it would take longer to bring the food. Then asked to move tables because booking was only 1.5hrs and the food had taken longer. Served by multiple people that weren’t keeping track of our table. Waiter brought over the bill before we had even had our tacos. Then discrepancies on bill when we did come to pay but it was too much trouble to get it rectified that we just paid so we could get out of there. There’s not even any room to pass between tables and kitchen with wait staff. It’s a hot mess but the food was great!

   Superchido was like going to Mexico without leaving Melbourne! From the authentic margaheritas to the amazing food. My mind was as blown as much my tastebuds! It was a delightful experience.Lovely staff, too!

   Whilst the food was fantastic and fresh. I was disappointed by the service provided. We were informed the moment we sat down that it is only a 90 minute seating so we were urged to order sooner rather than later. When our main course was served we were then informed we would only have 15 minutes to eat and then the table will be prepared for the next booking. Whilst I understand there is a time frame, I felt we were merely a transaction. Definitely wasn't enough time for a two course meal to be enjoyed. I recommend going for a later booking so you don't feel rushed.

   First time here and we really enjoyed the experience. We went on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. Only issue was we seemed to wait a long time for our main courses (which were great) and we had to ask for a starter that we hadn't been given. Otherwise very good and we will go back.

    The best Mexican food I have had in Melbourne. The quesotacos de res was excellent but at $20 for 2 small tacos a bit overpriced. Cannot get individual tacos, only come in sets of two. Corn very good, best churros in town. Attentive staff. Would I go back? Yes. Would I recommend to my friends? Yes!

    The service was exceptional. I went with two friends and they modified everything so we could have one piece of multiple dishes, one w no dairy. All the food & cocktails had so much flavour, including the churros dipping sauce I’m now plotting my return - how many friends can I persuade to come to this side of town??

    Excellent service, wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Trendy vibe inside and not too loud. Cocktails were excellent! Food also very good, especially enjoyed the fresh tortilla chips and condiments. Thought the tacos needed a bit more seasoning on the beef but churros were a stand out - fresh and the chocolate dip was the perfect way to end the meal.

    my friends and I had a fantastic evening at Superchido!! it was my birthday and every staff member went out of their way to make it special. the service was truly fantastic, present without being overbearing and so friendly and fun! and the food was soooo amazing, we ordered a fair bit of food and the timing that everything came out was perfect. the calabaza tacos and the birria are a must try! if you're into alcohol, the cocktails are to die for (would totally recommend trying the chamoyada margarita and the Mariposa) and if you're not the mocktails are just as delicious and well presented :) I had a really fantastic evening and will definitely be going back - thank you superchido!

    Went here with a group of friends to try. Courtyard is very cute, we were unfortunately seated right by the toilet (doesn’t bother a lot of people but does for me). Took a while for anyone to serve us (I had to wave my arms after waiting about 15-20min) and then the kitchen was closing soon so we had to order all in one go - normally I like to order in increments to avoid over ordering! The waiter was very lovely and helped us to order a good amount, and due to the wait in service we got some items on the house which was really nice of them. Tacos were DELICIOUS and the totopos is incredible. Al pastor pork taco WOW! Also got the main pork belly which was interesting (rice was incredible, and that chilli sauce 🔥) but I reckon the tacos were better. Overall a really nice experience! I’d recommend going, the food is really special!

    We are big fans of Mexican so we were keen to check out Superchido. In terms of the food, it’s great. However what made our experience pretty sour was the service. We had a great main server who was incredibly friendly, but we really didn’t appreciate being told by three different waiters on five separate occasions (seriously, not kidding) that our table was only for 90 mins and we had to be out by 8.30. If you run a 90 minute sitting, you need to be confident in your timings. It took more than 45 minutes to get our drinks (30 mins to be told the Pinot gris wasn’t available). None of our choices diverted from the menu and were not banquets - we’re talking guacamole, tacos and churros. I literally had to walk out the door with food in my mouth. When we said we felt rushed when paying the bill, another waiter argued with us and was literally still calling out, telling us we were wrong as we were leaving. Owners - support your service staff more by having 120 minute sittings, or speed up your food and drinks prep. I know the hospitality industry has shortages at the moment but there were staff everywhere, perhaps not in the kitchen though. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like we will return anytime soon.

    Great food and flavours. Less than standard service. Drink order never came. Menu portions not explained. Wednesday 2 for $10 taco deal but staff didn’t explain 1 taco serving is 2 tacos. Ended up with 8 tacos between 2 people instead of the 4 intended. Long gap between starters and tacos arriving. Staff then Brought over additional corn in between which unsure if the order was incorrect or it was to appease us through the long wait on tacos. Given it was also very busy we weren’t too put out by the wait but there was definite breakdown in communication at several points between wait staff and us and also perhaps kitchen. Would give it a second chance but didn’t meet expectations first time.
