Restaurant was empty but the service was super slow and staff seemed uncertain what was going on. Food was bad quality and overpriced.

Food was very good! Service was a little slow when it came to drink refills of iced tea and water but other than that, we enjoyed our dinner and evening.

The ambiance was cool as "old Italian" charm. The food was very good! The server had been there for 6 months, yet didn't know what was on the menu or worse what the specials for the night were??? Suparossa has been in that location for so many years and appeals many different generations. If the "service" is better (as the staff members should KNOW the menu) and come around more to ensure things are acceptable (I had to ask 5 times to ask for our Server as we asked for refills on wine and she didn't bring it, nor remember to get it for us)...I would give a higher rating.

We enjoyed the evening. A couple of points...the service was slow but the server was apologetic and fixed the problems. The entrees were slow in coming out and when he brought the desserts, he didn't bring clean silverware and had to go back and get some. But, he did everything with a smile. The other point, the singer could have turned the volume down a little.

The food is always excellent, from the soup and salad to the main dishes and pizza. The gnocchi and eight finger cavatelli are our favorite dishes. The service is good and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

I haven’t been to Suparossa in over a year. We brought my parents here for dinner. I was a little bit leery because of the very low ratings. Personally, after dining here tonight, I don’t understand why the ratings are so low. We had a fabulous meal. The four of us started out sharing the grilled calamari which was light and not greasy. We all enjoyed our entrees. The only glitch of all the entrées we had was that my mom‘s chicken Vesuvio was a chicken breast and not bone in as requested. The restaurant immediately made her entrée correctly as they make it to order. Unfortunately, they rushed the order to get it to her and the skin was not crispy it was cooked very lightly. Other than that, the meal was fantastic. My husband loved his lasagna and my branzino was out of this world. I will definitely come back and if we’re with my parents and ordering chicken Vesuvio, we’ll make sure we’re very clear on ordering the bone in and not the breast. The manager Nick is very personable and attentive to his customers. The restaurant itself is large and there’s a bar area upfront separate from the restaurant. There’s also a cute little table that’s off to the side that’s private. We’ve also had parties here in the past and they’ve done a great job. I like that you can hear the conversation at your table as it’s not overly loud. I’ll definitely be back.

Great food, friendly and humorous waiter. Nice and quiet in there with subtle lighting. We were not greeted right away upon entering; host greeted us a few minutes later but was nice.
