One of my parent's favorite spots, the service was great, food was very good and we had an overall wonderful evening. Looking forward to enjoying another night there sometime soon.
Had a great time, great selection to choose from and was an overall great experience.
the night we went, the restaurant was very quiet. There was no excuse for cold food or cold soup. The waiter was extremely attentive and did his best. the restaurant was fair at best. And beware, they allow smoking on the screened in patio with fingers right there! Who knew?
Went there with our family of 10. Service was friendly, accommodating and efficient. Food preparation and presentation are well done and impressive. Would definitely go back!
A regular spot for us. We always get good food, good service, and a fair price. Maybe the best house wine around.
Decided to go to Sunshine Grille for Mother's Day. We were seated in a booth near the musician but he played quietly so hearing my husband was never a problem. The music was an added surprise that we enjoyed. The food was plentiful and good. We had the blackened MahiMahi and it was very spicy wth mangos that were for cooling your mouth. It tasted a bit salty as well. When I talked to the waiter at the end of the meal he said, "well you could have gotten it less spicy" . I would like to have known this at the beginning. I also had the feeling go being a bit rushed although I really think the waiter felt it was attentiveness. We enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere and highly recommend this restaurant.
Went for Mother's Day brunch... had no trouble getting a table, ready when we arrived. Service was pretty good. Food was decent, but for $30/person buffet, I think my expectations were a little higher.
I made an online reservation and no where online does it give an exact price. We have eaten there for brunch before. It may have been a while, but I know we didn't pay $32/ each. $32.00 per person and $16.00 per child seemed excessive when the bill came. Kids were 2 1/2 and 5, and never ate more than a few pieces of fruit and a small waffle. Won't go back for that price.
A new location but still a fantastic place to dine. The menu had both standard and imaginative choices, and made you start manning for next time! My wife had a great seafood gumbo, and a stuffed mahi-mahi. Enormous portions! My crawfish special wax half fried and half étouffée! Way too much to finish (but I did)! It was unique and delicious; it can with salad, and the Caesar was as good as anywhere. Service was excellent, prices reasonable, wines and drink choices abundant, and the live music all added to a perfect dinner. Will definitely return!
I've been to the restaurant before and enjoyed a good meal, but was surprised when the main menu was unavailable for Easter as only a brunch was served. I was in from out of town, and should have been told this when I called to confirm the Easter reservation. Nonetheless, we stayed. While service was good, the food was really horrible. The leg of lamb was essentially rare, they ran out of the prime rib, and virtually every dish was picked over. Probably the worse brunch buffet I have ever been at. My advice is to stick to what you know rather than packing people into a small restaurant with limited space for a really terrible buffet.
Went for an early dinner and my wife had a filet that she really enjoyed. The red cabbage they served with our meal was excellent. I got the meatloaf. Very generous with their size of serving. Tasted even better than Grandma use to make. Will definitely return.
Food dependably good, staff trys hard to deliver a good experience and succeeds.
NY Strip Steak special on Thursday night was a great price for a delicious meal. Mai Mai was also a special and delicious.
Nice brunch. Great omelets made to order and other good breakfast items. Not that many lunch items.
This was our second time dining there, the seating outdoors was very nice. Our first waitress took our drink orders, the second waitress seemed a little confused when we ordered our appetizer and our main meal, perhaps she thought the first would have gotten the app with the drinks.
Ate outside, food was good but a bit expensive for what it is, wine list is lack luster.
The cigarette smoke was overwhelming.
Dependable, high quality selections. A dining experience, retro.
This restraurant has very good food, service and price points. The menu has a great deal of variety to choose from including chicken, seafood, brick oven pizza and steaks. If youhavent tried this restraurant yet it is a very good find and you will enjoyable the experience.
Our experience at Sunshine Grille was excellent. The menu offered a variety of selections to choose from. By far the salmon was our best yet in FL. The service was exceptional. Our server. Luke, was bright, engaging and attentive to our needs. We will definitely visit the Grille again and recommend it to family and friends.
The wood grilled items stand out. We thought the Seafood Gumbo was very good, as was Paella, not an easy dish to make to order. Our server David was excellent, very accommodating.
Creative specials (sea bass and Grouper were great). Attentive friendly service and management.
Had a very pleasant meal-not far from home-but it also on the main route to the beach/resorts of Fort Myers. This was our second visit there this year. The food was very good. Seafood paella was outstanding. Musical duo softly playing in the background old classics.
Best thing was although it was at height of the winter season here, there was no waiting.
A bit pricey for a neighborhood restaurant.
We had been to the old location, and found the new restaurant wonderfully updated, with none of the overly noisy atmosphere of some places. They had live music...a talented guitarist playing really great music that did not stifle conversation. Really nice experience...will return!
We had heard good things from friends, and we weren't disappointed. It's possible to eat there modestly or lavishly. The flatbreads were delicious, the fish terrific, the vegetables fresh, the servings quite large. We could have made do sharing an entree. Not fit for foodies because the flavors are predictable and they rely on salt, fat and sugar to give it all appeal, but much better than your average restaurant because of the wood-fired grill and the nice fresh ingredients. Service was friendly and competent. The place was crowded, and we were seated near the kitchen, with a distracting flapping door--best to stay away from that if you can. If we lived there we'd go often.
When we asked for the wine list our server pulled out of her apron pocket a small crumpled piece of paper with a few selections by the glass only which was confusing because as we exited there were bottles on other tables and a numerous amount in the bar area. The goat cheese appetizer was very good and our "hostess" was very nice, we believe he was probably the owner.
Both our meals were bland at best, my Mahi Mahi must have been on the verge ancient, it real had that old fish smell.
Waitress never told us about the specials, there were two apparently!
My wife and I dined at Sunshine Grill for the first time last night. As you can see by the 5 stars we rated the restaurant, it was worth it. Good food, drink and service. We were greeted when first coming in the door and told we are running on time and your table should be ready in about 15 minutes. (We were about 20 minutes early for the reservation.) The bartenders were top notch with service and made sure we were taken care of. Sure enough, in about 15 minutes we were seated. Server knew her stuff and made sure everything was OK the entire night. All in all a good evening complemented by fine fine food and fine service. Will definitely recommend and eat there again.
We have had dinner here on two occasions. Both times there was a single musician playing pleasant music in the background. Food and service were excellent on both occasions. The restaurant has an attractive, upscale interior. Overall very enjoyable and a good value.
Superb Welcome from management, bar staff and server Linda such attention to detail and fabulous food. And the bottle of Spanish Rioja mmmmmmmmmm Highly Recommended
