Sunset Catch Restaurant
The seafood here is very good, but it should be for the price. There was entertainment going on inside, a singer, so if this is the case when you go be prepared for it, and don’t expect a quiet night out. But we will go again for sure.
This restaurant served high quality innovative cuisine. Everything was fresh and well presented. The atmosphere had a bit of everything-- twice. It had high ceilings and modern sculptured wall surfaces. It had colored lights. It had mood lighting. Then there was the inner-ear damaging band. Good musicians mind you. Innovative treatment of Stevie Wonder and The Who. But a conversation stopper for sure, unless you count a shouting match as conversation.
One of my favorite restaurants! The food and service are always outstanding! And the whole fish Snapper special I ordered is perfection!
A good seafood restaurant should not serve coconut shrimp out of a packaged freezer box.
Our server, Christy, was excellent, she was attentive and answered all our questions. The food presentation was beautiful and everything tasted great. Two of us had Salmon and two had shrimp. The appetizers, grilled octopus and coconut shrimp were both excellent. It was a lovely evening and we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sunset. We all agreed we would be back.
Decent view, and friendly service. Food quality was poor, especially given the prices charged. There is far better food available in the area, sans waterfront view.
Great restaurant – wonderful food and excellent ambience! They have live entertainment on the weekends which is a lot of fun. The restaurant is tucked away and a little hard to find being on the second floor of the building but once you get up there it is beautiful!
This was my 2nd time and loved the music (Elvis! ) and the food is great too!
Kens attentive and exemplary service added to 4 perfect meals. Ambiance was relaxed, elegant with a beautiful view!
Nice bar and ambiance. They had a band (Randy Fishenfeld and her wildfire band which is always fun) but they really do not have a good setup for the band as the members are spread out Ordered fresh catch which was snapper. it was served whole but deep fried , which was not explained that it was fried. I do not know who would do that to a snapper. In any event, the fish was well overdone. There was another couple at the table who also ordered it and it was also well over done. I ordered the caprese salad and the amount of tomato and mozzarella was very small compared to the copious amount of bread which accompanied the plate. There were actually 8 people and their opinion was basically the food was average which does not warrant the price.
Seated at our reservation time. The table overlooked the intercoastal and was very romantic. We ordered drinks and the waiter then took our order. The appetizer was skimpy but tasty. The entries were on the smaller size but was served hot and were tasty. I might return in the future.
This was our first time there, it was recommended to us by a friend. We loved it, had great food and great service, and sitting outside was very nice. Will be going back !!
Sunset Catch is a restaurant you can’t pass up. The ambiance is beautiful as you watch boats pass by. The food was outstanding and there are always great selections. Eric, our waiter, did a super job and was very professional, friendly, and had great recommendations. The band was an added pleasure offering great music and an opportunity to dance. Will definitely go back.
Consistently excellent food, dishes well prepared and nicely presented. The hostess, Nadia is charming and attentive. We'll go back and recommend.
I took my fiance here for his birthdsy weekend. It was recommended by one of my friends. We were well pleased!!!
Beautiful location on the intracoastal. Terrific ambience, great service and live music. I had grilled artichokes for an appetizer that were wrapped in bacon. Very different and absolutely delicious. It is supposed to be served on bruschetta tomatoes which would add to the always elegant presentations but I don't eat tomatoes. My boyfriend ordered Sunset Catch pescatore and ate every bit of it. The band was Uptown Express and they are awesome. Unfortunately they started at 8:30 and played till 11:30. By then there were less than a dozen people left which changes the dynamic.
As always, a great dinner in a beautiful setting with A+ service!
The chef didn’t want to prepare something plain for me. He wasn’t very accommodating. He is somewhat difficult and the waitress said as much. There are a lot of other places to go so I won’t be back. Besides the 2 lb lobster was $80.00. Was told that was market price. Outrageous.
Food and service was great
I really enjoyed the entertainment awesome the live band was amazing
Great food and ambience. We sat outside on the Terrace and the sunset was spectacular.
Our waiter was really nice with good humor!
Staff was gracious
Excellent dinner with out of town relatives once again.
The food was delicious. It was prepared and presented well. The blue lights surrounding the rooftop provided a lovely ambience. Unfortunately, our service was poor.
When we got there they had a fix dinner. Didn’t stay. It would have been nice to have known that. So we had a drink and left. They weren’t to happy.
Sunset Catch never disappoints! Flash fried snapper was amazing-beautiful presentation.
My only suggestion is the genre of music-seemed a bit “techno” but we were sitting outside so it wasn’t loud but slightly distracting because it didn’t mesh with the atmosphere.
All four of us had different meal, and It was all excellent!
Good wine and dessert as well!
Just had the feeling that they were doing us a “favor” to let us eat there. This is our sixth time here and unfortunately our last.
Our server Fabiana was absolutely wonderful. We were there celebrating my wife's birthday and Fabiana made the entire experience wonderful. Thank you so much.
Consistently excellent! Service, food, location, welcoming
Food was very good. We shared the grilled artichoke appetizer and I had the shrimp over broccoli rabe with a Thai chili sauce which was very good. The menu had a nice variety of choices. I recommend this place. An extra plus, there us entertainment on Friday nights.
Delicious and the best food we had out of all the other popular intercoastal and beach front restaurants.
Made our open table reservation with the notation, "celebrating Mark's birthday." NO happy birthday greeting whatsoever. WATCH OUT, the menu items on the menu descriptions do NOT match preparation. When we questioned our waiter about the calamari served with "fradiavolo" and stated that it tastes like marinara, he debated us about taste bud differences (I prefer spice and my husband does not - he confirmed that there was not spice at all)...our waiter, Murray actually got close to my face and I could smell is bad breath...NOT the type of service you would expect nor should receive. The Sicilian House Salad states, with "mixed pitted olives," however PITS galore, someone could break a tooth unknowingly. Both items should have been removed from our check as a courtesy, however were not. All wait staff should always have a clean pressed shirt, not so the night we dined. On the bright side the Branzino was deliciously tasty. Spent $175 for a dinner that left a bitter taste in my mouth...
Beyond expectations! Wonderful dining experience!
Overall, this place is awesome, all around. The owners, staff, menu, ambiance and decor, A-PLUS. This was my first time a d certainly, will not be my last.
Outstanding food and great service
We waited 30 minutes for our drinks, once they were ordered. Never saw our waiter during that time. Would have liked putting apps in While we waited. Meatball apps came out cold. 2 or 4 dinners came out cold. Complained to manager, who said they eventually came out right, so we’re good.
