Always fabulous in all ways!
the food here is always incredible. From drinks to appetizers to main course and dessert- it is all amazing.
service is great. we even had live music that was phenomenal. perfect night!
One of my favorites in the area. Great food, nice view, exceptional service.
From the moment you sit down you feel very welcomed. The food is great. We have been there twice this month and will be going back. Service is excellent. Beautiful views.
Rudest owners in the world. Do not contribute your money to terrible people. I feel bad for their employees.
Food was wonderful at this pleasantly arranged indoor/outdoor seafood place. A great spot for a special occasion. Lighting inside was lovely. Server was nice and did a great job.
Great place!
Sunset Catch gave us a beautiful Valentine's Day! The view from the patio is lovely. It was tastefully decorated inside and outside. The food, as always, was delicious and well presented. The entertainer sang a pleasing variety of songs and our server Eric was terrific.
Very pleased with the food and the service
La nourriture est excellente, belle ambiance, ses sur je vais retourner , je recommande vivement. Line
The food was very good.
Lobster mac and cheese was small. The special was excellent. It was a bit too noisy because they had a singer, but it would’ve been ok if we sat outside
Food and drinks were good. However for a date night it is too loud to enjoy a conversation. Even outside was too loud.
It was very good and the sunset was beautiful! We had a great time.
Good was great! Outside dining on intercostal!
This should be on your list. It's an odd location, hard to find initially but once you get there it's great. On the Intercoastal, nice outdoor seating. Food and service are excellent (Ask for Geno, he is the best server and he'll even sing Happy Birthday to you).
Great fun, excellent food. Pesto shrimp fettuccini is to die for!
The ambiance was perfect... overlooking the marina, intercoastal. The outside patio has heaters and is decorated with pretty lights. The inside is also very well decorated and there was entertainment.
Our server was excellent. She was personable, helpful and attentive.
The food was excellent from the antipasto board to the dessert!!
Our only dissatisfaction was the price of the fish special. It was very expensive and we didn’t know that until we got the bill. Perhaps when a dish is that expensive they should tell you the price when they are telling you about the special.
We will definitely return!!
Our server Sascha was phenominal. Great dining experience. Sat outside with the view of the intracoastal. There was a live singer for dining music and she made the experience even more enjoyable. We had the opportunity to meet the owner/chef Mario who stopped by our table to say hello and see how our meals were. He is a great chef and personable. Of course when dining in Florida, go for seafood. We had the branzino, cooked to perfection. This is now one of my go to places for a relaxing dining experience. The one item that folks should be aware of is how to get to it. It is located on the second floor of the the building and parking is limited at the entrance, shared with other businesses. If you can't park there then there is a public lot just a couple hundred feet away.
Fabulous food, service a bit slow, but it made for a lovely dining experience.
fabulous food. Gino was great! Beautiful location. Wonderful staff. treated specially
Good portions; patio seating was spacious;
The food was outstanding. We had tuna tartare as an appetizer, followed by lobster “Mac and cheese”, which is not a traditional Mac and cheese, but a variation that is a Parmesan cream sauce, and also pasta with scallops and crab with a mild curry sauce, none of it was a disappointment. We even requested bread to mop up the extra sauce.
I didn’t give the ambiance 5 stars as it is a bit Miami Vice cliche inside (icicle lights and snowy/feathery arrangements). The view is amazing and they had background entertainment that was ok, but I kept waiting for Don Johnson to walk in as it was 80’s bedroom music.
Come for the food and great service, leave because you don’t feel the need to linger.
We love this place! It really is a hidden gem. Go at sunset and don’t miss the charcuterie board and martinis. The lobster bisque is also very good.
Great Happy hour price drinks. Food is always good along with the service
Everything was wonderful for a Birthday celebration
Everything was wonderful
Sunset Catch never fails to provide stunning views, the food however leaves much to be desired. My husband and I split the tuna appetizer which was fabulous, we then requested bread and were served 2 slices of cold garlic toast, no butter, no oil just cold bread. I ordered the snapper which was served in the whole fish. The bite sized pieces were fried and resembled frozen fish bites that you could purchase in grocery store. My husband ordered the swordfish and it tasted terrible.
I would recommend for drinks and appetizers because the view can’t be beat. Unfortunately they cannot seem to get the dinners together.
Great overall experience. The BEST Bronzino fish dish and we've had plenty at different restaurants. A special app that night = pork belly with grilled octopus very tasty! Last, a simple arugula salad with a light dressing. Everything excellent complemented by a fine waiter. Highly recommend it.
Great atmosphere and great food!
Great outdoor dining option. Beautiful view of inter-oastal, friendly attentive servers and of course meals never disappoint. Very generous happy hour prices and pours. Three of us shared Octopus & Conch Ceviche and Grilled Octopus appetizers. Also shared and recommend Maine Lobster Catalana and Sicilian House Salad with shrimp. Plenty for 3 and looking forward to returning.
Delicious food well prepared and served with with a great view.
We enjoyed our meal at Sunset Catch. We sat outside but our table was up against the wall of the restaurant. There was live music inside and a different music being piped to the patio. At our table, it was a bit jarring & not enjoyable since we could clearly hear both simultaneously. We asked but they said they were unable to pipe the live music to the patio. The food and service were worth a return visit, but I would definitely sit inside unless an outdoor table further away from the restaurant wall was available.
Nice evening out at Sunset Catch ! Bronzini was superb as well as the Octopus appetizer.
Great pasta choices also.
Great food, nice view of water!!
We have been dining at Sunset Catch for several years and have always loved the food. This was our first visit since the Covid Lock-down therefore we were very much looking forward to the evening. We made a reservation one week prior and were seated off to the side away from most of the other diners. Which we found odd because there were several open tables properly spaced 6-8 ft apart from one another. When we asked to move to one of the many open tables unfortunately the hostess informed us that she could not move us to another table. Once seated, our server informed us that they had made a few changes to the menu. Unfortunately our favorite pasta was no longer available (Big Apple Rigatoni). We started with the Bruschetta Basket and the Meatball appetizer. Both were good, however the meatball tasted slightly dry compared to prior visits and it came with a much smaller portion of their delicious ricotta cheese. I did request an additional side of ricotta which our sever promptly provided. My husband and I both ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese. Unfortunately we truly we not happy with the dish. The pasta was over cooked and extremely over sauced. We both felt that there was a minimal amount of meat and the sauce was more like a tomato paste which lacked the richness and depth of a Bolognese. We've always loved this place, the food, the friendly owners and the service. Unfortunately after several months of anticipation, this wasn't our best dining experience.
The incredible service is almost as spectacular as the food itself
Have a wonderful day with my lady
Lovely place with decent menu options. Not an over abundance of options but very nice. Service was attentive and ambiance and location were fantastic. The back patio gives a lovely view of the marina - front/street side is deceiving.
My husband I went here for my birthday last night. The place was empty, only 2 or 3 tables on the front deck had patrons. We asked if we could sit so we could enjoy the view at a table over looking the intracoastal & were told no because it was a 6 top & only 2 of us, even though was 90% empty! My husband was ready to walk but they gave us another ok table that was overlooking the water.
To I’m sure our waiters surprise we ordered a $150 bottle of our favorite champagne Vueve Clicquot their last bottle. We ordered surf and turf, lobster was excellent but the New York steak was tough & not a good cut for that price! Filet would be better.
the table we asked for sat EMPTY the entire night! Maybe they had reservation that didn’t show up, but that was not conveyed to us.
Our waiter was very good, he’s obviously worked here for a while. He tried to get us to order another bottle but they didn’t have what we like, even though it’s a little over priced, but understand places are hurting.
We had key lime pie for dessert, the waiter told us it was the frozen kind, he wanted to warn us so we knew, it was really good.
The lady that sat us, possibly the owner, we have seen her there before, didn’t even come by our table once to see how we were doing! Strange for a VERY expensive place, we are used to having the manager or head person come ask us if we are enjoying our dinner. Most places we eat at know us, know we are big spenders & great tippers especially now to help out our local places. The places we eat at regularly welcome us and greet us when we first walk in and engage in small talk, know our names or at least say welcome back. I’m sure she didn’t remember us,but why not ask how we enjoyed dinner? Especially since no one else ordered even a bottle of wine, I’m sure they didn’t spend half of what we did. My husband said no body even ordered bottle of wine let alone an expensive one like we did.
Like the subset, view, lobster, Champagne and waiter.
We really enjoyed Sunset Catch. The dinner was amazing. We sat on the patio and felt very safe. All servers wore masks and even cleaned our table between each meal portion. I would definitely go back!
Four of us went for The Price Fixed Dine Out Fort Lauderdale Menu. There is a choice of a $35 or $45 menu. We all chose the $45 menu, as the appetizers were different and very appealing. We enjoyed the ceviche & lobster bisque appetizers and the Branzino and Pappardelle Pesto with Shrimp entrees. Dessert is included and taste freshly made. Service was very attentive and good wine choices. We will come back, even without the special prices menu. Outdoor dining, spaced from other with views of the intercoastal and boats.
