Sunnin Lebanese Cafe
The food is always very good. Love the tabouli and humus to start. The stuffed zucchini are excellent.
Had to flag done the wait staff a couple of times but service is always very courteous.
Food and service sloppy at best. Very disappointed.
Taking friends out for traditional Lebanese and they did not let me down!!
Excellent service and the food was authentic, our favorite westside dining spot.
Sunnin Lebanese Cafe is a great place to bring your family - the people are friendly, the environment is casual, and the food is outstanding! It's difficult to choose because all the dishes are authentic and tasty. We always end up ordering too much food, but my family looks forward to the leftovers.
My mother is Lebanese so when I travel I always try Lebanese restaurants if I find any. Most are ok but feel more Greek than Lebanese. This was the most authentic Lebanese food I have ever had in a restaurant. The recipes for kibbe, cusa(stuffed zucchini) and stuffed grape leaves were almost identical to the way I learned to cook from my mother and she learned from her mother and grandmother who learned in Lebanon. The Lebanese bread was perfectly baked. I also enjoyed the Lebanese beer.
I am going to try the Santa Monica location before I leave!
We always like to go there. We love Lebanese food and theirs is really good
Amazing food, great service. Will definitely be back.
Best Lebanese in LA!!!!! Always good ! Been eating here for years.
We love the food here. The babaganoush is fabulous and we love the beef kafta with with rice and tomatoes
I come to LA twice a year for family gatherings, and I always make the point to come to CAfe Sunnin. I lived in Lebanon, and this is the real thing, in quality, flavors, home-madeness (shish tawouk, all the kebabs, eggplant salad, kebbe naye, sheikh meshi... etc!).This time I asked for lahmebajin for my kids, they didn't have it, but encourage me to go across the street to the bakery to get it and bring it to the table. I only wish the menu included sauda djaj! When you enter cafe Sunnin, you entered the atmosphere where offering food table to table is what people do. Love it.
We were hoping for a great dinner and were really disappointed about the quality of the food. The ambiance was not good either.
Unfortunately for us, a large group of people came in shortly after we were seated, and we couldn't carry on a normal conversation without screaming.
The large group is not the restaurant's fault, but the food quality is something the restaurant has control over. We won't be back.
