   The great vibes began as soon as we walked in the door and greeted. We were walked to the banquet I requested and promptly seated.  our cocktails were delicious and then on a very fun appetizer menu for the five of us we ordered a tuna with crispy rice, incredible mussels , and super fun pastry wrapped kosher hotdog bites with a variety of mustards. The dinner menu is vast and has something for everyone. Prices are what you would expect on the East side of town for a restaurant of this caliber. We ordered the scallops, a very juicy pork chop with apricot chutney and delicious looking mashed potatoes. I had the shrimp and grits and it’ll be hard for me to not have that dish again when I go back. Portions are perfect- no skimping. The dessert menu is fun too. We had cotton candy, covered strawberry shortcake, a piece of decadent chocolate cake, and I was presented with an amazing warm apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream for my birthday. In between our meal, we were greeted by the owner, the chef our “wine guy” and our attentive and efficient server Jenny was terrific. This will definitely be a do over many times. It’s not stuffy but rather cozy and comfortable. Thank you, Jenny, Alex,  Chef Allen and Michael. Your hospitality was spectacular. Thank you all very much. we wish all of you the best.

   We were told that we should not miss eating at Sunness Supper Club, and we are so glad we took our friend's advice! From the moment we entered we were greeted by a friendly welcoming staff and it just got better from there! The wait staff, Sommelier and owner were all in on making us feel welcome. The exceptional crab cakes, Brussels sprouts and mushrooms were so enjoyable and plentiful that I'll be enjoying them this evening at home! Michael, the owner personally brought over the hot dog appetizer for us to try after we mentioned our love of pigs in the blanket to him. I Could not ask for a better experience. BTW don't miss the dessert, the Apple Tart was amazing. We will be back and will be bringing the grandkids with us!

   Excellent overall experience. Top notch service, and the food was also very good. The rib appetizer was awesome as was the spicy tuna appetizer. The cocktail list has a number of very interesting and creative choices. We tried a few over the course of the evening and were not disappointed. The fried chicken was very good (the collard greens that accompany the chicken were among the best I have ever had). My partner had the pork chop and gave it rave reviews. We were full at that point but tried the apple cobbler. Was very good and very large. So much so that we took most of it home. The only down side is the noise level. It is very very loud in the main part of the restaurant, so much so that the acoustic damping material on the underside of the tables did little to tame the environment. It was not so loud that we could not have a conversation, but if you are looking for a romantic quiet spot, this is not for you. If you are looking for an excellent meal with lots of interesting choices and price points, excellent drinks and service, this is for you. We'll be back.

   Hi Alan, Thanks for the kind words. Also, we are working on the noise by adding acoustical tiles throughout the restaurant. We are looking to install them in the coming weeks.

   We had a delicious birthday lunch today. Our waitress, Jenix, was very sweet and attentive. My daughter has the grilled cheese and tomato soup. I had the fresh catch, grouper, sandwich on a toasted brioche bun which came with a cole slaw and house made chips. My wife has a chopped salad with grilled chicken. All of us absolutely loved our meals. We shared the brussel sprouts which were AMAZING. Thank you!

    An absolute pleasure dinning at this establishment for my son’s 11th birthday. Our waitress was fantastic forgot her name but she had the NY accent, Puerto Rican descent and just gorgeous. She was such a pleasant soul and just catered to our every need. Besides that the food was 10/10 environment was breath taken and it just an overall pleasant night.
