We ate outside in a beautiful garden. It was perfect!!
First time at Sundy House was a wonderful experience. Everything was fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Will be back soon.
We had a great dining experience. However, we were charged $7.00 by the valet to park in public parking. I have emailed the city because it appears that the lot across from Sundy House was for public parking and the lot immediately south of Sundy House was for their valet parking. The attendant was rude and indignant and so our experience was marred by our encounter with this individual. Just want clarification on parking details before I send anyone to this establishment. I saw the valet retrieve someone's truck and he drove it over the sidewalk. Definitely not going to have them park my car.
One of the best Sunday Brunch's in South Florida! Always have an amazing time there!!
Pretty good food, has lost a little flavor since last time we were there. Also— one steak had to be sent back improperly cooked. Service was great ambiance too. The price per entree and glasses of wine are getting ridiculous at this place— what a shame. I don’t think we’ll be back soon as a result.
We have been to Sundy House numerous times. Mothers Day Sunday was such a big disappointment. From the old food that was just left out, the extremely dirty food stations, they ran out of desserts, we were told the chef just took off early, the servers at the ice cream station talking and not helping customers that were lined up. Sundy House is going down hill in every respect and all my friends and I will not be coming back.
Wonderful will definitely return
Gorgeous surroundings ! Lovely staff; terrific waitress.
Rib eye (medium rare) was too tough and chewy but tasty.
Fig salad very good .
Asparagus just ‘ok’.
A fly was around our table most of the time we were there; however, I didn’t mention this to the wait staff.
Coffee wasn’t hot enough.
Expected a tastier meal for the money.
I really livecthe atmosphere of Sundy House. Even though it was raining its still surrounded by nature and i like that. The food is consistant and tasty. Drinks superb. Bridgette was our waitress. She was friendly and attentive. It was fabulous.
Always a wonderful time! Beautiful grounds, beautiful people, excellent service-‘Bridget’ is a diamond, fabulous, remembers her prior guests, makes us feel like we are at home!! And most important she is always one of the best ambassadors of the Sundy House!
We brought our friend from England here, so he can experience the best there is in Delray, and the best ‘one of a kind places’ Sundy House!
See you soon! ;)
The service, food, and setting is excellent. One can be made to feel special the second you enter the building. You can tell that a lot went into every aspect of your experience. We didn't have to wait for drinks, the seafood section was fresh and plentiful, and each of the stations around the buffet was presented perfectly, in addition to being delicious. Service was efficient and unobtrusive yet at the same time very friendly. I would highly recommend a bloody Mary too as it was excellent, as long as you're not the driver! The lobster salad is not to be missed nor is the homemade walnut and banana syrup for the waffles and pancakes. Surprise your significant other and/ or parent as it's worth every penny!
We love Sundy House! Everything was delicious, service was top notch! We live so close and go for special occasions!
Overall an excellent experience!
I've been eating there for years and this is the first time that my request for a particular table was not honored. Additionally, the food quality and portion size was not like it used to be.
I have been to Sundy House a number of times during the years I’ve lived in Florida. It is an absolutely beautiful venue for dining and feeling like one is immersed in nature with its beautiful surrounding gardens and large windows enabling visual satisfaction even inside. This last visit was for Sunday brunch which my two friends and I were eagerly looking forward to having made the reservation over a month before. The food selection was wonderful with offerings of seafood stations including fresh oysters, very thin, sliced in half lengthwise (for easier access!) crab legs, smoked salmon and other selections presented beautifully. There was a carving station featuring lamb, beef and salmon which were perfectly cooked and quite tasty. I could go on about the other stations with prepared dishes of many kinds, an omelet station, many varieties of cheeses and, of course, a dessert station which featured many sweet treats and fresh fruit. All of this is wonderful, but in the end, what I came away with was eating $95 worth of food, even with the unlimited mimosas and bloody Marys, was not possible. The price of $75 had an automatic $15 service charge added which obviously guarantees the server 20%, add the tax and therefore the bottom line. Sorry, I feel this is a bit much for any brunch.
The valet parking needs to be improved as the line waiting for entrance to the restaurant causes back up on the local, neighborhood street. I found myself waiting for too long behind other cars which left me partially blocking a corner causing those making turns difficulty. There is a lot across the street, but be prepared to realize it is for valet parking only, even though the restaurant mentioned on the reservation valet parking AND lot across from restaurant. I pulled into it anyway after my discomfort blocking the corner and the lengthy wait.
If food quality and quantity are all that are important, then Sundy House is a gem, and go for it.
Loved the food! It was the Sunday brunch which was absolutely delicious!! Our server was such a sweetheart and was on point!
Upon entering, the 3 at the host stand appeared less than enthused to seat us... passing the reservation ticket down the line to the next person. Our party of 5 was escorted to a 4 top. The problem solving genius of the young hostess was to tell one of the servers to add a chair on the end. She immediately scurried away. Fortunately the servers took us to a 6 top in the inside/outside portion of the restaurants. Our server absolutely made our entire experience. We made sure she knew we were appreciative of all of her efforts. I hope she got her entire life watching G.O.T. We look forward to our next visit when we're down from Chicago.
This was a little intimate location for a celebratory birthday brunch. Exceptional food with lots of flavor and variety to sink your teeth into along with bottomless Mimosas and Bellinis. Oh Yum!!!! Our server, Matthew was so full of insight to the Sundy house and its surroundings. We loved the fact that he didn't rush you thru your meal, but to linger and relax while savoring all that was offered. It was so quiet and peaceful, yet the background music was just enough to sooth the soul. I would definitely recommend this location with one exception; maybe use an uber/lyft to get this little paradise in Delray. This is not because of the bottomless drinks, but the valet left a lot to be desired. Please take note when valeting your vehicle. Sundy House is not a park your car friendly establishment. They utilize a 3rd party company and because that they do not handle the vehicles with care or concern. IMO, dealing with my own personal vehicle the two valets did not handle vehicles responsibly. We were given our keys to our Acura (which my husband is handicapped with mobility issues) and we had to walk across the street to access the car. One of the valets played with the controls of the vehicles, changed the radio stations and left the car unlocked. In fact, not only was our car unlocked, but they left a Cadillac unlocked, running with no one in the car. When we were able to maneuver our of the spot to leave the valet driving the next car came cruising into the lot almost hitting us. Instead of giving us room to leave; he instead decided to overpower us in the lot and almost hit us. We called the Sundy House and left a message to this, but was told to contact the actual valet company which a message was left too. Just beware of parking.
About our favorite Sunday brunch place . Parking is a bit of a challenge, even with Valet.
I proposed to my wife here if that tells you anything. Amazing restaurant.
Thank you so much, Sundy House, for accommodating my request for an outside table for our daughter’s special birthday. Our evening in the gazebo was magical!
Lovely venue. Order something you don't normally order and you will be pleased. Had the lamb and it was perfect. My husband had tenderloin and said he's had better at Outback!
Exquisite setting. Ponds, fountains, statues—charming, beautiful
Service was very, very good
However, the prices are too high for the food. Yes, the food is delicious;but, we may only go back for a cocktail and eat where food is not as dear. Was 30-40% higher than other fine dining in Delray Beach
Fabulous place to visit for so many reasons. Especially if you want something special that all the family can enjoy.
Outstanding venue for any special day - we celebrated Easter Sunday Brunch and loved it. The food was excellent, plentiful and served with a smile. The grounds were magnificent and we loved it.
The Sunday brunch is the absolute best.
Easter Sunday Brunch - absolutely delicious
We always enjoy Sunday Brunch. Service is impeccable, the grounds are simply beautiful and most of all the food is beyond delicious. Can’t wait to return
Always a hit! Food is outstanding, table in the garden was quiet and serene and was topped off by a premier jazz singer!
Absolutely the most beautiful setting out in the gardeb. We were seated in a little Gazebo for two and although there were other guests we felt as though it was just us the garden and delicious food.
Dinner with parents
Gorgeous setting, accommodating service, great food make this a wonderful place for a special occasion! The outdoor space is exquisite.
Amazing dining experience!!! Great service, great food, and the grounds were stunning!!! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area
Exceptional meal and service. We always come here when in town.
Fabulous night!! From the Chilled Seafood app, Fig Salad to their house special Yellowtail Snapper, it was perfect. Great, our server was wonderful!
Can’t wait to come back!!!
We wanted a quiet place for dinner. We sat outside and it was a lovely evening. Service was great. The food was very good but not its usual fabulous...
We were also invaded by flies once the food arrived. We were told that nothing could be done about it and they sprayed but at certain times of year, the food (especially fish) attracted them.
Would go back but its something I would ask about the next time.
The service was impeccable and the food incredible.
Magical atmosphere and delicious food! This was a splurge for us, and worth it for the experience. We went on a Friday night- so no big weddings, etc. in the other rooms. There was a lounge singer whose music was piped out to the garden where we were eating. Could have done without that. I imagine if it were bad weather, we would have been seated in the glassed-in dining room. That would be preferable on a very muggy day. Loved this experience!
Went to Sundy House for my daughter's birthday. She wanted a quiet brunch spot and this was a hit! Unbelievably beautiful atmosphere, charming and wonderful in every way. We loved it! We are not drinkers but the cost $75pp includes alcohol so if you drink this is a very good deal.
