First time visiting. The food was great ! I had the lamb chops and some of the smoked Gouda mac n cheese. Steven or bartender/server was great. When I come back I will definitely dine in the outside gardens. Absolutely beautiful! I love that the tables are all in private settings. I can’t wait to bring guests there
We did the Sunday brunch and it was very good all around. Food, service and ambiance were great.
It was a surprise brunch for being contracted on a new job :0)
This place is over the top! That is all that can be said about it.
Sundy house never disappoints! The food is always amazing and the staff there is warm and inviting. It is our favorite brunch spot and a great place to bring visitors. This has always been a must visit spot for our get-togethers!
Lovely historic house and beautiful gardens provided an intimate environment and the food and service were both excellent. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
A favorite local restaurant. Always consistent. Best is to be seated outside in a gazebo.
We have been to the Sunday House many times and been very happy. But unfortunately our last two visits haven’t been good, the food wasn’t good and was over priced.
My starter was clearly warmed up and the salad that came on the side had also been warmed up along with the crabcake. My wife’s main meal risotto wasn't nice and was over cooked, she left this. We did tell our waitress but she just said sorry, didnt ask if we would like a something else or deduct it from the bill. Sadly, not a place we would recommend anymore. Shame as surroundings lovely .
Just a lovely experience. Friendly waitstaff. Great food. Great scenery.
Had family visiting from New Zealand. We knew we had to take them to Sundy House. We were not disappointed. The gazebo table was perfect. Greg, our waiter was very attentive. The food was imaginative and delicious. The steaks were the best we've ever tasted and cooked to perfection. The perfect place, the perfect night to show off South Florida to our kiwi family.
There is no lovelier, more enchanting place to dine than Sundy House. And the food was spectacular.
Excellent food and time had by all!! Can’t wait to go back!!
My go to place for special occasion. A romantic table by the babbling brook or a fun group get together in the gazebo. Service is never rushed and the food is always delicious.
The variety and quality of the food was fantastic. My friend and I had a wonderful time until we went to the ice cream bar. The server there was not very friendly and he treated us as though we were annoying him when we asked about the choices of ice cream available. His attitude nearly ruined the experience.
It was great! One of our favorites!
Great place for a special dinner
Beautiful gardens. Meal was delicious. Desert very tasty but portion size was very very small for the price. Considering a wedding there next year. Over all Great for special occasion.
We had the Sunday brunch. Included cocktails were great especially the bloody marys. In general, the buffet food was very good with the exception of the seafood. In particular, the king crabs legs (dried out), oysters (tasteless), and shrimp (frozen thus soggy and salty) were far from the best quality. This is to be contrasted with the other selections which were much better.
The food was excellent and the choices were immense. The lamb and the Prime Rib were dry. Did not have any rare pieces. We arrived just before noon. Went to the breakfast starters and then on to the carving which was about 1:00PM. Didn't think the meat would be dried out by then.
Appetizers were just ok. Tuna tataki good. Pork belly avg. I had Chilean Sea bass. Good but not great. My wife had duck breast and had to send back. Too tough to cut. She then exchanged for Diver Scallops which were very good but small portion. Dessert was awesome.
Very good service and great outdoor atmosphere with gazebo and outside seating by small lakes
Horrible service and mediocre food. Way too expensive. Awful experience.
Always a great experience
We went for the Sunday Brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday. What an amazing place right in our own backyard. I've lived in Delray for 39 years and now I'm embarrassed to say that I had never been to the Sundy House before. The gardens were so beautiful and the ambiance fabulous. The food was very fresh, the choices abundant, and the presentation was top notch. We had a very pleasant dining experience and Gregory, our waiter, did an outstanding job and helped make it memorable. My wife said it felt like we were somewhere far, far out of town, miles away from home. We'll be back for sure and we'll bring guests next time to share the experience.
Sundy house never disappoints. My husband and I have been coming for years and we have now recruited our 6 year old. He loves the quiet and scenic view and of course, the ice cream bar!
Good was ok
My wife send back the cioppino because was fishy
The short rids was good
Service at the begin was good but after I had to stand up and call my server multiple times
You only pay the location
The staff went out of their way to assure we got everything EXACTLY that we wanted, including replacing the rather dull and dirty looking place mats with a sparkling white table cloth!
Been here countless times. It’s been up and down. This visit was the best! Fabulous service and spectacular food.
We have been here a few times before but was disappointed this time. The food was good but not outstanding. Especially fir the price. The crab was old. Just wasn’t the same. We hope it was just an “off” day
This was my second visit. By coincidence we had the same wonderful server as we had almost two months ago! Breanna (sp?) was so amazing that she remembered details from our first experience at Sundy House! I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious. The service is attentive without being obtrusive. The setting is something to be experienced. I look forward to trying their fabulous Sunday Brunch!
Great brunch! Everything you'd ever want to eat and more. Highly recommend.
Although I’ve been having lunch here for years, I’ve never experienced The Sundy House’s Sunday brunch. WHAT WAS I THINKING!! I am going to go on record by saying that this was the best buffet brunch I have ever been to! The food selection was abundant, with one extravagant section after another.......fresh waffles, crepes, omelet station.........truffle fried chicken, rack of lamb, prime rib, chilled seafood bar (oysters, crab legs and more........charcuterie station, salad bar, make your own ice cream station mini cupcake station and my favorite.........wait for it........make your own Bloody Mary station with various spices, hot sauces, accoutrements galore and vodka freshly marinated with red bell peppers. Also, complements to Marco Schlenz, who was so attentive and hospitable with all of the restaurants patrons. He told us to try the baby cherry peppers because he said they were some of the best he’s ever tried. Marco took so much pride in the restaurant that I assumed he was the owner. Also, the service was exceptional. Our server took time to explain the buffet and encouraged us to to drink as many cocktails as we saw fit. NIIICE. Next time we’ll be going there for dinner so we can experience the beautiful candlelit gardens at night.
Bridget was exceptional! Attentive, personable very pleasant. Great food.
A little bit pricey, but food was good, service was good. Nice relaxing intimate meal.
The braised ribs were so delicious and the polenta was one of the best i have had. Beautiful surroundings and our waiter was so attentive. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner to the fullest.
Best Sunday brunch around!!!!!!!
Food and service similar to Breaker Hotel in Palm Beach, Excellent at half the price. Brunch on Sunday cannot be beaten and highly recommend.
Wonderful evening. Great food. Eating under the stars in the evening in our own private gazebo was so lovely. Thank you!
Raw seafood items were above an acceptable temperature. Service was minimal but polite. Omelette chef barely understood English and could not get the order correct. The price point was unreasonably high when compared to similarly priced venues, e.g. The Breakers.
Great food and beautiful ambience. Wish I could go back every Saturday.
We had a girls birthday brunch! Everything was fabulous, drinks, food, service! What more can you ask for!!!!
