Sunday Brunch is buffet only. Food was excellent. Waited for over an hour to be seated. Service great.
Excellent service, Richard was our server and made sure we were well taken care of!!
A hidden gem in Delray Beach! Beautiful setting with tables of varying sizes scattered here and there outdoors in quiet secluded alcoves, under lush greenery or covered patios as well as indoors. Ponds, walkways and beautifully illuminated foliage create a relaxing atmosphere for dining in a tropical setting. Soft Caribbean music playing in the background adds to the ambiance. The brunch had many selections and the included adult beverages also had more choices than customarily found at other brunches.
We had a very pleasant celebratory brunch and all was really nice. Only exception was that staff was not attentive in keeping all of the buffet available. There were several empty trays each time we went up to the buffet. For $75 a person this should NOT be the case.
The ambiance and service was amazing! The Sunday brunch itself was just okay...not an elaborate assortment and not even an omelette station which was a bit disappointing. The dessert selection was inadequate.
A tropical oasis... fabulous experience every time 👍
Great place food was wonderful, very pricey though
amazing garden. will return for sure!! brunch was superb
We booked this table a month in advance for a baby sprinkle. The staff was extremely rude. They put us at a table directly in the sun. We were told first come first serve so we showed up 30 minutes early, and they would not seat us at a more appropriate table. We asked to be in the gazebo, which we were told was reserved (although we were told we could not reserve a table in advance.) and that gazebo table never showed! Poor attitudes from all, including the manager. The ambiance and food was great. We had bottomless mimosas for the table, and asked if they wanted to leave a bottle so they didn’t have to keep coming back, to which the response was “we can’t, I’ll get fired, we will lose our liquor license, and you’ll never be able to come back...” ok, a simple “we aren’t allowed to,” would have sufficed. Too bad, the ambiance is what makes this restaurant.
Great experience our first time there food and drinks were great beautiful atmosphere and great service
We have been to sundy house a bunch of times and although the service is always slow, the ambience and food are always fantastic so we don’t mind. This last time, the food was not very good and the quality had gone down tremendously. We asked the waitress if the chef had changed and indeed there was a different chef. The food is not the same as it was and not worth the price in the slightest. This was a huge disappointment for a place we go to all the time. I hope something changes since we only live a few blocks away and really love this restaurant.
Love this place. Service is great. Setting is beautiful.
Only complaint this time was that I ordered my burger rare and it came well done. I didn’t say anything. Ate it anyway. It was still good.
But it was a wonderful night
I've always written great reviews for Sundy House, until now. Excellent food and service in a beautiful settings is generally what we experience. Maybe it was an off night. I took 25 minutes bevore a server even came to our table. The last time we visited, the service was just as slow, but the food made up for it. Not this time. My filet was stringy and overcooked. My husband's lamb rack had much smaller, chops on it, and were a lower quality than what we've come to expect. I think we might give it a little longer than usual, before we try again.
Fantastic Experience!!! If you are looking for an out of the ordinary dinner Idea, this is it!
Wonderful experience. excellent food, terrific ambiance
Sundy House is absolutely a hidden gem in Palm Beach. The garden area was absolutely magical, loved having a evening stroll as we waited for our meals. Love love love, will be back. Our server Michael was outstanding, extensive food and wine knowledge. He also knows a great deal about the tropical plants and fruit trees that can be found in the garden! Spectacular evening!
The food was fantastic, the atmosphere always top notch. The menu is creative. Truly an awesome dining experience.
Great setting. Hard to find a more beautiful place to have a special dinner.
Great service, great food, and extraordinary ambience.
Service was extremely slow and boarders g on rude. We sat for a long time until anyone approached us and waited even longer for every single order. Food was average at best and over priced, not to mention mandatory 20% gratitude that was added to the bill and was unjustified. The location is beautiful but the restaurant is a disappointment.
Food was not good especially for the price. Overall disappointment.
I had no idea they doubled the buffet price from 75$ to 125$. On Easter. The service was terrible for 35$ a person but, 125$ person we should of had white glove treatment. Our plates stacked up on our table w flys buzzing around. Had to run and ask that they clean our table. We didn’t have any ribs (guess they ran out) all I’m saying is it was sub par for $125 a person. Maybe if u go on another day it might be different.
Beautiful garden and great food. However we did not know they were having a Easter buffet for $100pp. Although expensive, it was very good.
So expensive for Easter Buffet.. same buffet as every
Sunday but overpriced ! 6 people $800.00 plus dollars ..
I have been to Sunday House before for brunch. On Easter I was not told in advance that the cost was $100 per and that a table of 3 would have an automatic gratuity of 20%.
With that said the service was only fair, the buffet was not well stocked and was not kept clean.
I am compassionate to the trials hospitality has endured but raising your price and delivering less is not the way to go. DHart
Easter Sunday Brunch with family. Everything was great!
Beautiful place for Easter brunch. Our server was fantastic! It was a buffet style and it could have been better maintained. Overall, very nice!
It was nicely done. We sat outside which was refreshingly cool. The raw bare was amazing! As well as eggs Benedict
Unfortunately, was very disappointed in the Sundy House. I booked for Sundy Brunch after going to their site and checking out the price per adult and child. Specifically said $75 per adult and $35 per child 12 and under, and did not specify anything about special occasions being different. I told my family the cost, and they agreed to the price, and booked. It was 11 of us, 4 kids under 12 and 7 adults. When the bill came, the server had charged for 11 adults at $100 each and 1 kid for $50, plus a 20% tip (which normally it is 18% for big parties). My husband told the server that we had looked on the site and kids 12 and under are half off, and didn't understand why the $100 charges. She said that no, 12 year olds pay full price and that Easter it is more. I then asked for the manager and she agreed that 12 year olds pay half, but it is Easter and all of their special events are $100 each. The server still argued with me many times, and only agreed after I showed on the site. She said she had always charged for 12 year olds(so how many have overpaid??) What started off as a lovely day, and me telling my family I would love to go back to celebrate our anniversary, ended off terribly. I am so careful to review everything before booking, and it was not my fault that they had the wrong information on their website. The right thing to do was to honor that, or to do something about the price. I called to speak to a manager, and have yet to have a call back. Beyond disappointed. They ruined our Easter, and have no idea how to run a business. Not only were all of us disappointed, I will now go above and beyond to share my experience. It is the year 2021, and these things should not happen at a professional restaurant
Easter Brunch. Prime rib was tough. Crab legs were not split and difficult to remove from the shell. Dessert table was not replenished. The selections were not as varied as in prior years. Disappointing.
Our server, Bridgett, was outstanding! The raw bar (especially the King crab legs) a favorite!!! Will be back.
Was very disappointing!! Have been hearing how great the Sunday Brunch is so decided to give it a try. Was aware of the price (Easter so $100 a person). Have no problem spending that if it was worth it. This however was not even worth half of that! I felt like I was at Golden Coral when I was served watered down OJ.The desserts were store bought at best. They did have a good raw bar with Oysters, Shrimp, and crab legs but everything else was on par with Golden Corral. For that amount of money I expected more than fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. The leg of lamb was barely cooked, prime rib dry. If the $100 per person wasn’t bad enough they add 20% gratuity and tax on the gratuity. So for $254 for 2 people, I feel the need to warn people
Stay away if you expect high quality because all you get is high price.
Sundy House Easter Brunch - Awesome - had to be masked up and had to wear disposable gloves in order to do buffet - very organized and well orchestrated. Bravo! Food was wonderful we had a great time. Thomas was our server and he was awesome. Can't wait to go back.
Beautiful atmosphere, safety taken and excellent food. Very pricey but you get what you pay for!
Celebrated a birthday here and they forced us to reserve a gazebo to sit our 8guests if we wanted to be outside. They set the table for 12 with half dirty linens and sat us next to a wedding so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think, they put a 20% gratuity on the gazebo rental as well as the meal. Avoid this place
Beautiful restaurant. Loved the ambiance. Service was slow.
2 of us ordered the eggs Benedict but they kept overcooking the eggs. They took them back and they again came out hard boiled! We had to go over the menu and reorder. By the time we finally got our food everyone was done. That was too bad. Ended up not enjoying the meal as planned. Still were charged.
This was our third time trying the restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for our table with a reservation. The food was very disappointing. Not very flavorful and overpriced!
Outstanding service. Our family loves Sundy House. The food was exceptional and our server was wonderful. We celebrated my daughters’ birthdays and it was a lovely evening dining in a gazebo.
