Sundown at Granada
Very good service, food, atmosphere. We brought our dog and they were very kind to him and gave him water.
Sundown has been a go-to for brunch for years. Food and service is always consistently good. Really good option for gluten free as well.
Got to high- five Lewis Capaldi before his show as he walked through the restaurant... so that was awesome. Also the food, service, and drinks were great!
Really enjoyed the neighborhood and the food. Being a vegetarian I was able to make good choice . I will come back on a weekend to listen to the band.
Had a really nice evening on the patio with the wife before the concert that night. Food was fresh and flavorful. Only gripe I had was it was happy hour and half the beers on tap were floated with no replacement. Other than that small problem we had a great time.
First time here. Great little spot to grab a bite before the show at the Granada. Made for an easy and enjoyable evening.
Austin was our waiter and he was fantastic. It was a busy Friday night and we felt like he treated us like Royalty! The food was unique and delicious. Seth the manager was really friendly and helpful as well. we had a terrific experience.
We are so delightfully surprised. Our server was great and the food was delicious. Sat outside on their nice patio, and enjoyed the entire experience. Couldn't have been happier.
Had a delicious dinner!!!
I was at Sundown at Granada for my 50th Birthday Bash. We had the nest waitress. She was funny VERY Efficient. The Food and drinks were fantastic and I'll be bringing more friends here for a great time out on the town or even for a nice quite evening out. Loved everything about it! Highly recommend Sundown at Granada. Great place for pics too!
A delicious & delightful experience starting with the Cheddar Queso with chips & the ahi tuna tacos. Queso was warm & tuna delicious. I really liked that the menu had options for portion size and listed various items you could add to your meal. I opted for the Small Kale Salad and added salmon that was cooked to perfection. Everyone tried various dishes and enjoyed every bite. Our server, Kasey, was cheerful and attentive. For dessert we chose the chocolate cherry bread pudding with 8 spoons... served with ice cream... delish! Another plus is the valet parking. I would definitely recommend whether you’re going to The Granada or not !
Good is always excellent. Great for vegetarians and vegans
I had dinner with friends before a show at the theater. The food was excellent. Our server, Tamara, was the best! Will definitely return.
This is a terrific casual restaurant with a great bar and a great neighborhood feel to it. Live music at night, never a cover charge that I've seen, makes it perfect.
Great service. Parking is valet only. We weren't there for the live music, but if we were, I don't think we would have been able to hear each other... other than that, not bad.
Great food and server was attentive to whatever we needed. Definitely recommend!
It’s good, but hard to recommend to a friend when there’s better. First, I can’t get past servers in tank tops. One meal was so spicy it was inedible and no warning. Drinks sat empty for too long. Be sure to ask when the band will start playing to see if you want to dine there if you want to have conversation.
Everyone was very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing and it's such a cool venue. I would highly recommend and plan to go back!
Great food, some organics. Saturday night happy hour until 7. Nice to eat before walking next door for show (get manager to scan tickets and put on wristband to avoid Granada line). REALLY appreciate the complimentary parking (just be sure to tip them!). We love this place! Have been for just bar bands, which are usually very good.
Great if you have tickets next door at The Granada. Can get all checked in here and avoid the line.
Great brunch menu!
The happy hour prices were great and I love the different options for dinner. We were going next door for a concert so you can't beat the proximity.
Our waitress was completely amazing! The service was excellent and the food tasted great. Unfortunately, 3 out of 5 of us became quite ill later in the evening. Because of the after effects, we will not return.
I usually like this venue when I attend their Wednesday rooftop movie nights, but I went for the first time to dine and have drinks with friends and the service was atrocious. My friend had to wait 30 minutes before putting a drink order in and they forgot to bring her second one entirely. The restaurant itself wasn't abnormally busy yet we had to basically hold down our waiter to ask for anything because they would run away as soon as they brought anything to us. They weren't giving us even the bare minimum and it was extremely disappointing.
The food was ok, casual bar scene. My friend got the burger it was all salt.
Birthday, when I made the reservation I noted that but they never passed on that information to our waitress
Food was great and organic, vegan dishes that are tasty are hard to come by! Great job!
Fantastic burgers and overall great atmosphere and value for your money. Easy in and out with complementary valet for patrons. We chose to eat here because we were attending a show next door at the Granada Theater. Would absolutely do this again!
First time at Sundown and I tell you the food was awesome, organic and fresh. My husband and I do plan to re-visit soon and watch a movie from the top deck, right when the sun goes down across the horizon.
Great, fast and friendly service. I will be coming back for sure! Delicious fresh food as well.
Great vegetarian options! It was delicious
Always a great stop. Brisket burger without bun had a great presentation. I’m not a bread nut but most burgers just come with a pretty boring look. The chef was very creative and knocked it our of the park. Staff are all good conversationists.
Food was great! Service was so good, I almost felt like they were kicking us out, they would pick up plates and cocktail glasses so quickly. Would definitely go back. All night happy hour on Monday!
Amazing food and drinks.
Must try the cauliflower, it was delicious.
Their Mediterranean place was fabulous also.
Our server Tamara was attentive and charming, and the food was wonderful.
We made a reservation as we were coming from Rockwall. We wanted to sit on the roof and order dinner. We were never told that there was no restaurant service on the upstairs porch. We waited and waited. Finally, we decided to leave. We were told at that time that there was no restaurant service on the upper deck area. The restaurant service is only on the first floor area. Our time was wasted and the evening was ruined. Lousy service.
Had the Mediterranean plate and meatballs. They were both excellent with the sundried tomato mix being exceptional. We ate outside, it was nice but a little noisy. Service was very good including getting our wristbands for the show.
Easter Brunch at the Sundown. Arrived at 11:30 a.m. First time diners. Brunch Menu lists Crispy Brussels. They had already run out of Crispy Brussels. Moving on...one of us ordered the Big Bend 2.0 (listed as Dallas' 1st Vegan Benedict!) featuring a Quinoa Veggie Patty with Kale, Heirloom Tomatoes, House Salsa, and Avocado Chipotle Crema, on a Gluten-free English Muffin. The Quinoa Veggie Patty no flavor, the avocado Chipotle Crema was actually Holy Guacamole no Chipotle. English muffin? More like a hamburger bun, because someone in our group ordered a hamburger and it was the same bun. As for the Sunrise at Sundown...well how can you wreck two sunny side up, sweet potato hash browns, and Apple Smoked Bacon? By substituting the Apple Smoke Bacon with low cost store bought fatty bacon (all fat). This substitution was confirmed by the manager who came over to our table to see how things were going. The knowledge of a quality meat substitution and the lack of knowledge of ingredients on their own menu by the chef and staff led us to believe that the Sundown at Granada really doesn't care how their food tastes or what kind of dining experience they provide their guests. They were just a group of people who had to work on a Sunday. NOTE: We has asked about the rooftop, and were told it was closed for a private party (the Owners and their families were having Easter Brunch up there). We hope they enjoyed the crispy Brussels sprouts, Apple Smoked Bacon, and their Avocado Chipotle Crema.
The food was good but the service was horrible. We had to run down our waiter to get our chips & queso, the menu was out of date, it took nearly 90 minutes to get our dinner - nothing more difficult than hamburgers & meatloaf - and we never got our last round of drinks, in a nearly empty restaurant. On top of all that we had to wait nearly 20 minutes for the waiter to fix a wrong bill. It would have been easier and quicker to sit at the table and Uber eats food from another restaurant.
Terrible, avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere. Besides the super slow service, our food was flavorless and way overpriced. We ordered an assortment of items from the menu, including a vegan option. The brisket was dry and tasted old, the vegan patty was like eating cardboard. It is not farm to table as advertised, more like farm to week old produce at a grocery store to a table at Sundown at Granada. So very disappointing. I guess if you are super hung-over you may enjoy the overpriced flavorless food offered here (I assume this is the only way this place has some good reviews.) horrible, terrible, so angry we wasted our time, money and calories here.
