Arrived at 5:30p reservation. Ordered 4 cocktails. At 6p we still had not received our drinks. We left and went across the street to Pizzeria Testa.
Hostess was very rude
The atmosphere is really cool sitting upstairs, but the food was absolutely terrible burnt, overcooked, and no flavor. I would recommend going for drinks and atmosphere but definitely not the food.
Food & Service was terrible. The people were rude. They added gratuity to our bill without disclosing that on their menu or website. They also included tip on tax which is illegal. When we questioned it the manager was rude and was only able to tell us "that's just our policy". I used to come to this restaurant regularly years ago and had a relationship with the previous chef who I grew produce for. The place has gone way down hill and we won't be back. We have already reported to the state regarding the tip on tax issue.
My wife has Celiac Disease so literally ANY restaurant that understands the implications AND importance of gluten Dewey is worth too ratings just for that alone!
Having said that, all in for adults to children Celiac and non, kid live music with patio seating, can’t say anything but GREAT things!
Our server, I am horrible with names, was not only personable but he provided TOP SHELF service from the start!
This place was so fun! Delicious food and great service! Perfect place to celebrate my moms birthday, the atmosphere was amazing!
Awesome staff & amazing food
Great brunch spot
Food ok, felt rushed by waitress
Fresh, creative, delicious food and top notch bartenders,
Loved the outdoor seating and view of Greenville!
The servers are always professional, friendly and helpful. The menu has many choices that are appealing and creative, and the taste is always fresh, unique and memorable.
Had to ask for a waitress to even come and take our drink order, then the brisket queso was SO greasy, then she never brought ketchup we had to go up to the bar and get it ourselves, saw her standing there talking to coworkers. We ordered drinks 10 minutes goes by and she still has not brought them then she comes over and says she forgot what I ordered so I had to repeat, then we had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get our ticket after we asked. It was not very busy, everything was very mediocre and we will not be returning.
The chicken tacos were dry and tasteless, but the waffle fry app was good. I think the kitchen was too rushed to turn out good food. The drinks were too light on the pour. The service was rather slow. I was concerned that we would get a table even with reservations, but we ended up the back corner, finally.
Great atmosphere, service and the food & drinks were very good!
Went here for Mother’s Day. We were seated outside and it was very loud. The street noise is expected, but the music being played left us shouting at one another and our waitress. Meal was fine, truffle Mac and cheese was outstanding but the other items were just okay. May come back if the upstairs is open (it was closed for a wedding).
Great casual menu, and perfect place before a show @ The Granada!
The food was fresh and well-prepared, the vibe was relaxed, and our service was excellent.
Food was SO good and service was great! Loved the live music!
Jay was very attentive. He kept our cocktails and food coming! Many delicious plant-based choices. Upstairs patio scene was happening on Cinco de Mayo. Perfect weather. I’ll be back soon!
Our experience was exceptional, as always! Our server, Jay, was very friendly and attentive. Sundown has become one of favorite brunch spots!
Good food, nice people. The Buffalo Mac and cheese was a little soupy but still very tasty. Drinks were delicious. Love the patio. It’s covered and makes for good people watching.
Our server was super nice and very attentive. Food was great!
Great vibes for a weekend brunch/lunch. Our waitress was awesome
Great first time experience here! Love the location and the food was amazing. I always appreciate brunch, but a place that has a vegan brunch option will always work it's way to the top if my list! The service was great as well!
This is normally my go-to restaurant. The food has always been good and the service fun and engaging. This visit was the exact opposite. My group was met with dissonance Derm the staff. The food was mediocre. The service was not attentive. I will return because this is the first time I have experienced such subpar food and service. I have had many great experiences so I will go again. Hopefully my evening was just an off night.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and visit here. The wait staff was top notch, on top of everything and extremely friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. I had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and quite honestly I am ready to go back and have it again. We got to enjoy the gorgeous weather and ambiance on the rooftop, I can see this becoming a new favorite spot of mine. I'll be coming back very soon!
2 Servers for the entire rooftop patio was not enough....we felt like we were waiting for service a lot. We had a great time and our server was very nice.
Great patio for brunch. Food was so so but I would give them another try and see if maybe it was just my selection.
This was an excellent choice before the concert. We sat outside had some really unique food, everybody was having fun.Service was excellent as well, would recommend.
We had a lovely time dining on the rooftop patio!
Awesome brunch experience!
Had a pitcher of mimosa and some pesto flatbread.
The flatbread was cheesy and delicious!
Mimosas were also great.
The service was very accommodating and friendly.
Patio was very comfortable as well.
I had a great time!
Sundown was a great find, for me and my friends, as a frequent brunch destination. It never disappoints, and we'll continue to visit.
Service was bad and pushy even though we told her we were waiting for a friend before we ordered. She then proceeded to say “hope he gets here before the kitchen closes!” When we had a full 2 hours before it closed. So 3/4 of us were forced to order making me order the first thing i saw that i absolutely didn’t actually want. So i barely ate. Also served with plastic cups when i saw other tables with glassware? Definitely no reason to ever go back.
You're here for the patio and ambiance for sure. I wouldn't say the food was bad, but it didn't necessarily live up to its cost.
Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience at this establishment. We arrived about 10min early for our reservation (7pm on a Saturday night) and were seated right away. Great start we thought. However we didn’t see any staff member for approximately 15 minutes after the hostess seated us. We finally got waters and then it took another 10mins to meet our waitress who took our drink and appetizers order. We could see some waitstaff moving with all the speed of a sedated sloth and our waitress running from table to table. We finally got our drinks about 20mins after the waitress took the order, but only after she had to come to us and admit she put the wrong order in for us and the kitchen was remaking it. So now 45mins in and only getting one drink we decided to just call it a draw, pay for the two drinks and leave, but we couldn’t find any waitstaff. So after about 5 more minutes we stopped a runner and asked for a manager.
When the manager finally arrived after another five minutes (and we know the timeframe because we had nothing else better to do but time them) she basically was dismissive and actually rude. She came across like “I just need to placate these people to get two new people in the seats”. As people who enjoy dining out again after a year, it was extremely disappointing. We won’t be back
Service was unbelievably horrible. It took over an hour to get our food despite it not being very busy. The waiter was rude and refused to let us move tables before we were seated saying “we don’t allow table requests” and then proceeded to let other people sit there 15 minutes later. The food arrived cold and had to be sent back after speaking to a manger. Their sandwiches and burgers are $14 (way overpriced) and do not come with fries or sides (an additional +$3) - will not be returning and will make sure all of my friends and family in the area know to pick somewhere else.
Did not manage the reservation list well and had filled up the inside. We’re seating reservations outside on the patio in a wind storm and open awnings. In 50 degree weather you need to have better preparations. Also, don’t take reservations if you cannot accommodate. I specifically chose no patio when making a reservation.
Fun Patio dinner with friends. Would have loved some live music. Service was friendly and good...though orders came out not in the order we asked (misunderstanding) and one order was wrong all together. But we rolled with it. Enjoyed it overall.
The service was fine. It's the hostesses are always so rude. I come here often and it's always this way. Makes me not want to return.
