Sundance The Steakhouse
Date night/Anniversary - Felt special all night. From the time we checked in to the corner table and the desert. Fantastic. Thank you Sundance.
Waiter disappeared for about a half an hour, then blamed the chef for us waiting for our filets.....
We went for my dad’s 87th bday and it was fabulous. Great food and terrific service. I would go once a week!
Served martini in chipped glass and it cut my tongue. Totally unexpected from such restaurant. They very quite unapologetic and casual about it. Perhaps happens often. Not going back there again.
Excellent service and food - highly recommend - we were celebrating cancer free diagnosis - was really appreciated
A special place and a special meal. Service was impeccable, our waiter Marco was helpful and friendly, the staff took excellent care of us. Cannot wait until the next time!
Always a great choice with the food and service
Wee came here today celebrate our anniversary. Thomas was our waiter and he was excellent . Prime rib was fabulous and perfectly rare. The salmon was very good. Came with soup (lobster bisque for my hubby ) and a salad for me. For dessert, we were given their delicious mud pie. Yum. What’s not to love!! Come here for most celebrations.
Very, very disappointing. Service was very slow and steak was way undercooked. I never post negative restaurant comments...that’s how bad it was.
It was our Anniversary dinner. Come here every anniversary - for past 21 years. Love this place. Great food every time.
We have been to Sundance many time and always had excellent food and service, but our visit on the 10th was very different. Server said kitchen was backed up but it took 30+ plus minutes after our salads to get our entrees and when they finally came my halibut was terrible, very dry To say the less we were very disappointed. We will give them another try but it has got to be better.
Best prime rib I've had, ever. So tender and perfectly cooked.
Great wine list, the food is consistently good. The atmosphere is just the way we moles like it!
Food was, once again, delicious! The service was friendly and professional.
As good as I remember. Just wish our table had been ready when we arrived. Told to wait in the bar, but couldn't wait at the bar because our 17 year old son was with us. So we were told to sit at a table in the bar that was reserved for someone else. That was a bit awkward. But the food was outstanding.
Aside from the kitchen losing the dessert ticket, requiring me to track down the waiter and ask what was up, no problems. The food was good but did not put me in orbit. Service quick until the dessert ticket problem. We asked for a quiet table and we got it, so the conversation was nice. I'll be back.
Everthing Was Very Good Except..We Where Celebrating Anniversary My Son Had Called In To Pickup Tab....For The 4 Of Us....Mgr That Evening Screwed Up..And DID NOT PROCESS THEIR CARD..Only 2 Ladies On The Front Desk And The Night Mgr ??? 6:30 July 5th ! Thats Fine..But Someone Missed The Boat ?
Service was great, little louder than expected but understandable with the party that was next to us. Great place to have a get together with you and yours
It's...fine. It's a mid-high end steakhouse. Steaks were properly prepared (if under-seasoned). Meat quality was low-end prime/high-end choice. Sides were fine, creamed spinach being a nice standout - it was the only thing that was above expectations. Mashed potatoes could have used more butter, a hit of white pepper, and less salt. Broccoli/carrots need some love: say, seasoning other than salt, maybe a hit under the salamander or something.
Service was excellent.
Wine prices standard for the area - i.e. high, with some crazy ones for those on expense accounts, but you can go bottom fishing and find a mediocre bottle at an OK price.
Nothing except the creamed spinach stood out. We're still looking for our "fav" mid-high-end steakhouse - that doesn't destroy your wallet because it got an M star. Sundance wasn't it, but will suffice until we find it.
Good steakhouse style food, but elevated. Quite a few seafood dishes to choose. Good sides. They offer sliced tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette instead of all the starch foods as a choice of a side dish. Mud Pie is UP! So is the coffee ice-cream sundae. Filet spring rolls are a must as a appetizer. Wait staff area always professional, friendly and efficient.
Classic Americana. Great prime rib, decent pasta, and the servers are all super friendly.
Nice anniversary dinner! Jeff our waiter was awesome
This has always been our place to go for our birthdays and anniversaries, but we always go early, and have always had a wonderful experience. This time we were celebrating our daughter,s expected child with my out of town brother and his wife, a group of eight in all. A 6 pm reservation. The food was as always, superb, no one makes prime rib like Sundance! Scallops were super. My husband dislikes the rawness of the veggies, The trouble was the noise!!!! We could not hear the conversation of our family at all. If you yelled you could talk to the person next to you,. There were 2 large tables with very loud men near us. Our waiter Jake , was clumsy, knocking over water: , he was hard to understand in the noise, and not very cheerful. My brother is highly allergic to clams, and informed the waiter. When his dinner came he confirmed that there was no clams or juice on it, but within 20 mins he knew it was there. We left as soon as he was able. The rest of us not sad we had to forgo dessert, because we were not enjoying the noise..
This was a Monday night!
So my husband and I will definitely be back for our special dates and as early birds, but we will find another venue for family gatherings.
Usually you order an 8oz prime rib and get 3 oz of fat. This was all meat and all delicious.
Consistent, delicious, friendly, timely without being rushed. This is simply our family go-to place for gatherings or a happy night out. Go early for early-bird specials, or later for relaxed dining. All good.
We selected Sundance to celebrate 2 special occasions. It took over an hour for our food to come. Even the chef came out and said it would be out in 2 minutes...but it wasn’t. We never asked for our order to be checked on as the waiter kept coming by and saying 10 min, 5 min, etc.
One of the people at our table asked if there was any butter or dairy on the fish he selected and told the waiter that he can’t have dairy. The food was brought with fish that was fine but vegetables that were coated with butter. The plain vegetables arrived after we were done eating. Then to top this off, the waiter brought a celebratory ice cream pie slice to the same person ! The waiter also gave the wrong steaks to 2 people but we were able to swap amongst ourselves. Was was supposed to be a nice and relaxing dinner turned into frustration and us wanting to get out of there.
Excellent prime rib and excellent service. Waiter was always checking in
My hubby & I have been dining here for years because of great food & service. Keep it up guys!
Friendly, cozy, classy. My go to place for steak and a place for bringing good friends.
Was running late to my lunch reservations and the restaurant accommodated me with a private table in the bar area that was perfect for my business meeting.
A classic steak house - but $50+ for an 8oz fillet?
Love the special sunset menu. But everything on everyone's plate looked wonderful.
The kitchen knows what they are doing. Service up to the mark.
Always a great experience!
Thomas was our server again. Lovely lunch. My sister and I decided on the same lunch as last time....Sundance wedge salad (we split this), crab cakes (we like them well done and crispy so request that) and prawns. Wonderful food and great service.
I have two gripes: 1) much too much noise, and 2) some of your wines are overpriced. Otherwise everything was very good.
This is our first time in this restaurant. Our kids took us out for a dinner as a belated mother's day and father's day celebration. Its a small family owned restaurant. Inside is okay. Its kind of tight on space. The service was good. Our server Jake was very attentive and made sure that we have everything we need to have a good dining experience. The food was good. I had the Chelian Sea Bass with pillaf rice and vegetable that was good. Everyone in my group had steak and had told me that it was delicious. If we are planning to be in the area will definitely make a reservation since this place get booked so fast. Overall, our dinner ended up good. Everyone left with full tummy and empty pocket😃
I got a microscopic piece of swordfish. Everything else was fine, and I didn't mind the cost, but the portion size was absurd.
Always amazing! Great service and food!
Amazing steaks and very nice ambience. Drinks were well made and the wine list includes a lot of great options. The only downside to this place is the limited parking. Make sure to get there early for your reservation!
