Will be going back! Food was delicious and amazing service!
Music is too loud too early
Frank the server was great! Amazing recommendations and very flavorful food!
Food was overprepared and oversauced served in a place more for show than for eating. Bathrooms were gross and disorderly with a big trashcan with a bag hanging out of it like a McDonalds. The place felt like a factory and nothing special.
We had a Girls Weekend for a 50th Birthday. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We will be sure to dine here every time we are in Chicago.
The menu has a ton of options, but the best by far was the Brussel Sprout Salad! The food comes out when it's ready and is served family style, which was great, but we weren't able to try very many dishes because we were full after sharing three. A group of four would probably be perfect here.
Amazing food! Fantastic serve frank was so helpful!!! Def coming back!
We are Asian food fanatics, we have eaten at Zuma and Nobu many times but this didn’t meet the mark.
Our server Kimberly was amazing and she kept us entertained. But when we came in our hostess who sat us in an empty restaurant at 4pm in the back corner wouldn’t even take our request to sit in the center of the restaurant stating is was full. We finished our food at 5:30 and those tables were still empty.
The food was good not great or maybe the hostess experience soured our food for the evening.......
Food was very good. Even though they didn’t get our orders properly, service was very attentive.
Sunda was such a great experience! Great food and very accommodating to the gluten allergy!! We had so much fun!!
Sunda never disappoints. Everything was delicious and our server did a nice job. Friday nights are loud so if you are looking for a quiet place- I would skip this place on weekends.
My wife and I went to Sunda for our anniversary. The service was great and all the recommendations from the staff were spot on. The food was outstanding and we left extremely satisfied. I can't wait until we can return.
music choice, poor...
club music and Japanese food wouldn't be my first choice. the talking volume from costumers is loud enough, perhaps a less obnoxious radio station would have calmed the headache
The food is amazing. Brussels sprouts salad, tiger rock shrimp and crispy rice with tuna are a must get.
Our waitress was sooo friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Cocktails are great too.
We've been to Sunda for a date and were excited to return. The food was fantastic, we enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts, lemongrass beef lollipops, waygu crispy rice, escolar nigiri, and a couple items from the specials menu. Everything was eyes-roll-back-in-your-head delicious and the staff went out of their way to make our celebration special.
Ordered the duck hash and find the duck meat was not fresh. It should be better at the price I paid
Our first visit and we will go again - probably many times. Pan-Asian food but with a flare for the slightly unusual. Unagi never tasted so good. Liked the Crazy Rice dish. Even the desert was good. Highly Recommended.
It was my second time at Sunda and I loved it as much as the last time. Our service was excellent. We ordered 5items for 2 of us to share. We both enjoyed everything. It’s a great place to go for vegetarians as there were lots of options to choose from. Great for sharing and going with a group.
Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Great food and venue
This place does not disappoint
The waiter was outstanding as well. All recommendations were spot on
I loved everything about Sunda, but it is very expensive for the amount of food you get.
Atmosphere was great. Staff was attentive. Poke bowl was good. Bento box average. Teas was good
Sunda has the best food! I love the salmon at lunch time.
Great food and service was awesome. Waiter was very helpful with the menu and knowledgeable.
Such a creative menu with great flavors and heat, if you like it. You must try the stuffed avocado.
I've been to Sunda several times and it is consistently wonderful. I try to dine early or late since it is a popular spot and it gets very loud when at capacity. My favorite dishes include the shaved brussel sprout salad, roasted shishito peppers, spicy cauliflower and spicy edamame. One of our colleagues is allergic to seafood and the vegan menu worked perfectly for her.
Sunda has great food and a lively atmosphere. The Red Dragon roll was amazing but the Korean wings were the star of the night. Totally unexpected! Great experience overall.
Noisy !!!!!!!!! But delicious!!!
Famtastic evening, super service, and amazing food in new combinations and presentations!
Love Sunda! I did try the sweet potato sushi and was not impressed. Other thank that I recommend Sunda to any and everyone.
awesome service, food, and drinks. Absolutely love this place.
Everything here is awesome from the food to the drinks, all great!!
Absolutely fantastic experience, as always!!! Will definitely come back many, many times
I have been a huge fan for years. Having traveled the world, Sunda ranks at the top of my list of favorite restaurants. Virtually every bite of every dish elicits an OMG. No other place can consistently create that reaction.
server was very knowledgeable about menu items. Also gave great recommendations! Food was very good. Will return, and suggest to others!
Great restaurant, but food fell a little short this time.
