Chose to take my partner here to celebrate her getting a new job, and it was a great experience! From the friendly waiting staff who helped take off our jackets and even helped to put our food on our bowls, to the amazing food and dessert choices, we had a fantastic evening. Will definitely be coming back during lunch time to try out the Yum Cha menu.

We had lunch on a wintry Sunday, and chose from the dim sum/yum cha menu. The food was the standout winner here, with the usual suspects (xao long bao) and some extra special items too. Great wine list too. The room a bit quiet for a yum cha experience; I'm used to a rowdy dig-in affair, but it was lovely for just the two of us. Service was polite and professional, and very helpful. I'd recommend for a special occasion, or for something a bit different. Overlooking the lake makes for an all round pleasant experience.

Ordered at 7.30. Received our drinks that we ordered at 8.20. Received only one main that was ordered. We left at 9.00pm, asking that they take off the meal that didn't arrive from the receipt. Staff came back with the meal we didn't receive in a take away container and expecting us to pay for it. When asked why this didn't come out to the table, the staff member said they have been hassling the kitchen asking for them to hurry up with the meal. Eventually removed from the receipt. The ambience is great, and you get to watch the chefs make some of the food - one of which had his hands in front of him, tapping as if he was bored while we waited for the one meal that didn't come. I attended sun kitchen upon it first opening, and it was great. It's a shame the way it currently operates.

If you are looking for a place to dine with a beautiful atmosphere good food and great service this is a great place to try. The location is amazing and very relaxing around the lake I would defiantly go again on a Sunday to try more dishes with a bigger group.
