First time here- was good but not outstanding. Had to ask for bread which was a little annoying (I waited to give them plenty of opportunity but our first course arrived and they still hadn’t brought it). Had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled, also a little annoying. Food was very good, but my husband’s dishes (bucatini and the pork chop) definitely needed salt- no salt or pepper is on the table though. Nice space, though very loud which could be an issue for some. We enjoyed the food but weren’t blown away and won’t be rushing back, but it’s worth a try.
It was great!
Victoria could not promise to be able to accommodate our table request since it was a same day reservation, but said nicely that she would try. She delivered in a way that was above and beyond and our party enjoyed a great all-around experience in the beautiful dining room of SH. We appreciate Victoria’s professional manor and willingness to make an effort to honor our request. We will be back!
The space is neat and beautiful. The service was impeccable. Our waiter Robert was amazing. I enjoyed the local draft craft beers. My entree of mushroom risotto with seared scallops was the best ever. We even received a nice surprise, complimentary delicious sorbet dessert. A perfect place. We will be back. Soon.
The Summit House was one of the BEST restaurants that we have visited in awhile! The food was incredible, the wait staff was impressive, and the atmosphere was fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about it!
Love the ambiance, the whiskey sour is my favorite cocktail by far and the cheese is phenomenal. Thanks again for a wonderful business meal.
Took my daughter for a special evening. We sat overlooking the kitchen, a really fun experience. Our server was wonderful: personable and accommodating, going above and beyond what was needed to make our dinner enjoyable. Food was excellent on the whole. We shared three appetizers, of which the frisee salad was outstanding. Also outstanding was the duck rondon. The only disappointment was dessert, a pear and cranberry tart which needed a little zip. Dessert was less than stellar the last time I was here as well. Aside from that, however, it was a memorable and delicious occasion.
Celebrating a special anniversary but champagne was room temperature and a damper.
They got one entree wrong and one person in the party had to just wait.
They did however makeup with complementary dessert.
I had no idea how outstanding this restaurant would be. My wife and I were fortunate to have a table facing the open kitchen. Superb food and service.
Above average food
My manhattan was not good
Ambiance is hip chic
Not sure that the pork belly really works with the scallops from a flavor or texture perspective. I eat at your restaurant a lot and love the food but would take a look at a new approach with this dish.
Great ambiance! Tricky menu and pricy. However, the food was delicious.
The food is fine, but very average. Feels a bit like some of the nicer upscale places in the area (Serenade, Stone House), but simply not as good.
Great service. Food outstanding
Meal was exceptional. Service was outstanding.
Great service, excellent food. Good cocktails.
Sunday Brunch offers a fun set of food and beverage choices. One of the best cubano sandwiches (panini) I have ever had. Yum! Delicious coffee too.
Summit House is a wonderful restaurant in every aspect- ambiance, food, cocktails and service!! The food is innovative and excellent. The staff are truly engaged and want you to enjoy your meal. The cocktails are so much fun. This is a great dining experience but also relaxed and not at all stuffy.
The food, drinks and service were amazing. We were seated in the bar area and it was a bit loud. Other than that I would definitely return.
We were celebrating a special occasion, and the wait staff made us feel very special!
The skate in beurre noire was perfectly cooked . We also had the octopus starter and this was nicely executed as well. Wine accompaniment, a burgoyne from California was a great complement, and recommended by our server. The only drawback w as s rhe noise level due to all the hard surfaces which made conversation difficult
Overall we would highly recommend this place and plan to try other menu items
I highly recommend Summit House. It is my favorite restaurant! Drinks, food, and service are fabulous. Warm, friendly, and attentive staff are terrific. I generally prefer the back room as the front room with bar can be noisy(as are Saturday nights). Summit House is my go to restaurant!
Everything was bang-on perfect for brunch. We love coming here (and we come often). Delicious food, great atmosphere, and consistently excellent service. Great coffee and fabulous cocktails too.
The hostess was so kind to seat us in the back dining room rather than near the noisy bar. The service was great and the food was excellent. Can’t wait to go back
Service good, but a little slow
Food and service was excellent. Elegant space but the tables are very close together and it was hard to hear each other over the other parties’ conversations.
Great girls night out at Summit House- staff always courteous and food excellent. I made a special request and they accommodated me with a smile on their face. Thanks for a great evening!
This is fourth try and place is batting .500. Inconsistent in my view and with limited funky menu and more pricey than most i would place it mid pack for Summit and surrounding.
Normally we live this place. Tonight the service was terrible. Food took forever to come to table. Some was over cooked and others were lukewarm or cold by the time we got them. No explanation and the restaurant wasn’t busy and much of the staff looked bored.
Had a lovely time. Food was very delicious. Our server was attentive. Lovely seats - we had a great time! Will definitely come back again!
Special short rib appetizer was great. We enjoyed the duck and the scallops as main dishes. And the service made it an especially lovely evening - thanks Kat!
Absolutely! Great wait staff, superb food, wish the noise was not an issue.
Oh my! The fish dishes were wonderful and the mushroom risotto divine. The desserts were a mixed bag.
Fabulous. Our waiter Peter went above and beyond. My wife wanted a spicy cocktail and they invented one on the spot that is her new favorite.
The restaurant was busy and loud. The seating setup in the front was terrible with the people at the bar butting up against diners. We had a party of 6 and our waiter was noticably disinterested in serving us or helping us in any way. We ordered two bottles of wine and they were out of both of them. The wine he suggested was completely dissimilar from the cabernet we had originally ordered. And, not shockingly, wayyyy more expensive. The short rib appetizer was expensive and TERRIBLE. The food was too rich and loaded with sauce and the service was terrible. Every item was overpriced, food and drink and we will likely not be returning.
It was our second dinner at Summit house. The reservation was for 6:30. We got our table at 6:35, the appetizers were brought in around 7pm, then main course was served at 7 :45, to our standards is very long wait for the food to be served.
You could tell that the management could not handle the crowd.
Although, the food was superb.
Wonderful food in a great city of Summit
Great restaurant to add to the list. Food was excellent. Highly recommend it.
Quality of service is a problem.
