My duck was almost inedible and accompanied by large portions of tasteless starches. Service was uncaring and slow. The noise level in the front room was almost unbearable.

I had been to Summit House twice before and remember enjoying it, but this time it felt it was exceptional. My dinner was outstanding and my companions enjoyed their meals as well. Our server was professional and polite. The meal was expensive, but that included 5 alcoholic drinks. We also had a lovely dessert. The one downside is that the restaurant is consistently noisy, but we asked for a table in the back and it was better. Overall a great dinner!

The noise level was low because we were allowed to sit in the back dining even though they had closed it off. Lovely!

Celebrated birthday with wife . Being it was the day after Thanksgiving the crowd was relatively subdued. Reservation was prompt and they took us right away. Able to split most of the appetizers and entrées amongst the two of us,. The waiters and waitresses were attentive. Noise level was fine and typical of any restaurant. I was slightly disappointed that they offered muscles only cold and not as a hot entree on a cold November night so we passed. The butternut squash soup was awesome, as was the endive salad. We ended up sharing the ribeye which was done to perfection and carved up for us to share. Lastly, the chocolate cake was not what we expected, and the waitress took it off the tab. Atmosphere was cozy and lightning was great. Overall a much improved experience since they’re opening. 4star

We had mentioned food allergies in advance. Nothing special was done for the special needs side of the table. Service was slow and while taking orders the waiter described the other side ordering normal meals.

For the price and the 20% service charge this kind of attitude was unacceptable.

I’ve had many good experiences at Summit House. Unfortunately last night was not one of them. Service was awful. Entrées brought out while appetizers were still on the table. Finished entrées were left to sit in front of us for 15 minutes before being removed. A significant delay between bussing the table and having a dessert offered.
I hope this is in a trend, because if it is I will have one less restaurant to choose from.

I find there menus hard to choose from. It can be noted that I know a decent number of people who feel the same.,
The fried chicken sandwich was not good. I did mention it to the waiter. It was 70% fried gristle and 30% tough chicken . Disappointed that besides a hamburger there are too many sandwiches. Sometimes this kind of “new restaurants” want to go over the top in there selection of condiments.
Please think about my remarks. I don’t usually write a review. I am writing for other people who feel the same.

We had a pleasant dinner at the Summit House. Overall the experience was good, and it is a place that is worth trying once. We found the salad options fairly uninspiring. The arugula salad was overdressed. A friend had the vegan option that sounded like it would be a vegetable green curry and it ended up being raw veggies with a type of curry dressing. My scallops were fine, but once again, not particularly inspiring - and they had some sand/grit still inside them, which is never pleasant. My husband had a delicious pork chop. The two desserts we selected were, once again, pleasant enough, but we didn't eat all of it, because, once again, it just wasn't inspiring. Service was generally professional, although I was seated ahead of my group and was ignored for about 8 minutes before someone figured out that maybe I would like some water or a drink. The wines they had by the glass that we tried were excellent.

When we entered we requested being put in the exterior because we knew the front was noisy.
My sister has food intolerances and asked the waiter to make the adjustments. He graciously did so,
but when it arrived dairy was discovered in the pasta. He graciously returned it for something she could eat. I had the crab with corn etc, Very Yummy!

We had dinner in the back room and the acoustics were horrible. Super loud and hard to hear . The food was good, but pricey (small portions as well) I ordered the orecchiette with crab, it was very tasty, but the dish came with gnocchi instead. I would have appreciated the waiter telling me there was a substitution.

Last night we had a wonderful experience with Julian and at the restaurant in general. We requested a quiet table which they absolutely accommodated. We enjoyed seeing the kitchen from where we were. The bathrooms were beautiful, the music was the right volume, the food was absolutely delicious. What was the most memorable though was Julian because he treated us so well and made sure we were really celebrating our night out. He, as well as his backing staff, made sure every step of the meal was beautiful. Thank you so much for a lovely evening!

The first time we went here shortly after they opened, it was dreadful from the service to the food. And the prices. But we decided to give them a second chance. Also dreadful. The only reason we went for brunch was a: we had a $25 reward card; and b: how could they possibly screw up eggs? We had originally liked their chicken liver paté so we ordered that to start. What arrived was something I can only describe as a chicken liver milk shake. Their version of eggs Benedict is awful. And the drinks are the smallest I've seen in years. And all this can be yours for only $125 not including tip. Never again.

I give this review for the most part based on the food. Sat in the back area with a view of the kitchen. It was very nice. the staff was attentive and friendly. Ordered the charcuterie platter of 5, of which they ran out of 1 of the items at 7:15pm. We had the pork loin, with blistered potatoes, hash brown and kale pesto and the orecchiette pasta with crab and corm. All the food was fresh, but was lacking in flavor and salt, and we are not big salt user. They don't have salt and pepper on the tables. The pasta also wasn't orecchiette pasta, it was some other kind, which they did not mention when ordered. Had one taste of the kale pesto and that was it. Always pleasant to dine in a nice restaurant, but it's really all about the food for me.
