Highlights include our world-famous Stockyards of Chicago Roast Prime Ribs of Beef, “melt-in-your-mouth” oak wood grilled USDA prime steaks, our thirty-year favorite sautéed John Dory, locally grown vegetables hand-picked from neighboring Back Sheep Farms, and of course our famous creamed corn au gratin.

Always a magical night at the Summit House! The views, the service, the drinks, the food...always amazing!
We have been coming to The Summit House for many years for our special celebrations. This was our 49th wedding anniversary and, as usual, it was lovely. We were greeted at the door by Kaylee, who was very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Jennifer, was so sweet and helpful, and took excellent care of us. Alvaro, the face of The Summit House for us, was wonderful as usual. It was a very special evening made more special by these wonderful people.
We love Summit House. We even brought our friends from the Isle of Jersey (UK). They loved the atmosphere. Even though we were nit in the main dining area (I cant wait or it to open it), Summit House remains our go-to restaurant for many more years.
Don’t go on Wednesday, very busy and very loud. Not at all like last time went there one year ago. Waitress was wonderful and the valet was excellent. Celebrating 80th birthday. A big mistake going there. Hopefully it is a nicer place other days of week like it use to be.
So slow to served food and even kids meal didnt get drink and server was not available when we need him
Good food, service and atmosphere. Prime rib is very tasty, especially with the prime rib deal on Wednesdays.
This is our go to spot for our wedding anniversary and it never disappoints. It is the whole package, excellent food, service and ambiance.
The steak my wife and I had was one of the best ever. The view was fun, the service very positive and the atmosphere was excellent.

Summit House is definitely our favorite restaurant for any occasion. The food is always wonderful and service is 5 Star. We had a great table out on the patio, and all of the staff took all the necessary covid precautions. Trash our server did a great job!!!
We love going to the Summit House for special events in our lives. Through these difficult times they managed to continue the traditions we love. The John Dory was perfectly prepared as was my husband's prime rib. Still love the creamed corn. The service was very good as it always has been.
As usual the food was excellent. Its nice to have them open again, Very pleasant evening. The service was a little slow but they were very busy. The dessert "trifle" was excellent.

The prime rib was amazing. So tender, great flavor. I’m not a creamed spinach fan and that was also amazing. Outdoor patio heaters work great, wasn’t cold at all. Great wine, great food, great view. One of my favorite places for sure.

It was a pleasurable first time experience I had with summit house. Would definitely go again. Was 6 ft apart from other parties. There is limited parking, so we had to do valet. Had a nice view. The food was delicious.
Escargot and crab cakes were a great start! Summit House salad and French Onion soups were so good! John Dory with creamed corn and creamed spinach was excellent as usual. The dessert plate with a little of everything was a great ending. The management was very nice and accomodating. The service was perfect, and the outdoor seating had great ambiance and was not cold. This was our 20th year in a row to come for Valentine's Day. We always have an excellent time!

We were delighted to be there on my wife’s 81st birthday. While we have been there many times before we were Leary due to COVID-19 restrictions.

So happy to finally dine back indoor. Love where they sit us, by the window. Were warm coz were indoor and yet we see Beautiful scenery on the outside. The tables are spaced perfectly, food is great, awesome service. Feels really nice for a date . Me and my husband love the experience

The filet minion was excellent. The side dishes were very very salty; I could not eat them: au gratin potatoes and fried onion rings. The creamed corn was excellent and helped tone down the excessive saltiness of the meal.

We took our son and his girlfriend here before we moved. We did not know that the day after Valentine's day was going to be so expensive with a limited menu compared to menu online. They had never been so they were a little shocked.
