Great food - fresh and tasty. I will have the pork chop every time but the other dishes looked amazing. Great service. Only issue was limited parking. This place is popular so make sure you book a table in advance
Took my grandson & daughter to lunch before taking grandson for his birthday. His favorite is the salmon & he ate every bite. We also had the summer salad & chicken fried chicken. All three meals were delicious. Our server & I was remiss not to get her name but she has been there awhile, was great & when she learned we were there for his birthday, she insisted on bringing him dessert. He was thrilled & he even shared it with his mom & me. It was a very nice time.
We were finally seated at 7:00 for our 6:45 reservation. It was incredibly noisy and we were not in the bar. Service was incredibly slow too. Food was quite good, but the atmosphere and service were not that great. I think I’ll stick with happy hour because dinner just wasn’t cutting it.
I love this place - everything about it makes it a favorite go to. People are so nice, food is fabulous! Spinach dip - yum! Had the filet this time - so tender I didn’t need a steak knife! Substituted the brussel sprouts for the asparagus- good combination with the steak and mashed potatoes.
Arielle was amazing! Whole dining experience and meal was tremendous.
Food and service excellent but noise level above average.
Terrible. Server didn't know if they had a specific drink, even though it was listed on the menu. Spinach and artichoke dip was lackluster, and was served with stale chips. Left after the app. No plans to visit again.
Very good, the service was great
We love Summit Grill. The food is always wonderful and the service is great. While we did sit in the back bar area which isn't as nice, their staff more than made up for the difference in atmosphere. We'll be back! So glad we tried the cookies and cream ice cream pie/cake, our new favorite.
Good food and good atmosphere. The lobster stuffed salmon was the best entree at our table. Would highly recommend!
The steaks were bland and dry. The dinner salads were room temp and very small. The dining room was hot. We were sweating and not enjoying our dinner. :(
Good experience, if a little noisy while in the restaurant due to the music coming from the bar. There’s really no reason for it to be that loud.
As usual, not enough wait staff and our poor waitress could not keep up. Waited too long for drinks, salads, and entree.
At least this time the parking lot wasn’t an issue.
Really good steak!
The grilled chicken carbonara was a huge disappointment. Spinach and artichoke dip was not up to normal standards at all. Normally enjoy my visit but not this time at.
Food was very good.
Server was polite, but not quick with requests.
Not all food was delivered. When it was delivered, it was very good.
Summit Grill was great! The happy hour deals are excellent and the food and drinks were delicious. Great place for a date night! Service was fantastic as well!
only complaint is it's dark in the dining room needs to have more lighting
Service was great and the food was like home cooking, very tasty.
Our only concern was the noise level. We were seated in a large room with other tables with groups. We were only four and it was hard to carry on a conversation. Not nearly as bad as the bar though. Next time we will ask for a booth, which is where I have eaten for lunch.
My food was burnt. this is the second time in a row this is happened. Won’t be back.
Amazing as always! I'm the pickiest eater you will find and I've never had anything but a good experience here!
The food and the service surpassed expectations - highly recommend and will definitely be back.
We went to Summit Grill on Sunday for lunch. The food was good and the prices reasonable. Service was good. I wasn't blown away with the visit, but far from disappointed. I will say they are consistent and a good value. That's why I keep coming back.
One of the best meals we've had in a very long time. From soup to dessert, excellent meal!
Ate with friends on 6/1/2018. We were seated right away at the time of our reservation. The Restaurant was very busy (not unusual). Our server took our drink order right away & brought them in a timely fashion. She gave us a little time, took our order & served our salads promptly. Our meals (pot roast, salmon, filet, & fish/chips) were served as ordered & at appropriate temperatures. Our meals were delicious & 1/2 was taken home by both wives (large portions). Our water glasses were filled when needed & our service was reasonably good for as busy as our server was. She had a large table close by us. The restaurant is fairly noisy when busy & the bar noise can carry over to the restaurant—-our only complaint.
Took our out of state friend for dinner and she loved it
We had reservations at 6:00 for a party of five. The bar area was quite packed and the dinner area was getting full. The decor and atmospheric is very nice. Our waiter did a great job and was very attentive. Appetizer, main course and dessert was delicious. Definately recommend for a special occasion or just a bite to eat. One suggestion, definitely more lighting needed in the dining area to read the wonderful food choices on the menu or don’t forget your reading glasses.
Service was poor, food was crap and way over priced. Not sure how or why this place is still open for business maybe because of the bar because it can't be for the food or service.
The food is always good but went there for Sunday brunch and the service was very lacking. The hostess put our party of 6 at 2 adjacent 4 place tables without any question or comment.
Our waiter seemed very inexperienced which I would not expect from a fairly up-scale place and it was impossible to keep a coffee, tea or water glass full....we'd just flag down any server who got close to our table.
I visited the restaurant because my son suggested it. I was empressed with everything about this restaurant. The facility was clean, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I was greeted and acknowledged by all the staff.
I ordered the Spinach and Baby Artichoke Dip, Seared Ahi Tuna, and Parmesan-Crusted Tilapia. For dessert I ordered the carrot cake and creme brulee and everything was absolutely delicious. I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. I will be returning to this restaurant in the future.
This is a great restaurant! Food is always delicious! The interior of the restaurant is lovely. They have some super lunch specials. Some day I want to try their Happy Hour. I hear it is one of the best around.
Terrible brunch. Bad service. When you spend 200 dollars. Would expect good service
We've been five times now and the service and food is consistently getting worse. It's sad. We really enjoyed Summit Grill and the ambiance is spectacular! Our server did not address us for a long time and when he finally made it over to our booth, He did not have water in hand, just menus. There was considerable time in between his visits to our booth. Our drinks (no water) were empty more than they were full. The Steak Soup was not good. The meat (though in soup) was dry and tasteless...I could not finish the meat; the veggies and the soup itself was very tasty. The melted cheese on our sandwiches had returned to it's prior solid state and the bacon on my Chicken Club was very overcooked...think pork jerky. My wife had the Ultimate Grilled Cheese and it was sadly the same story with her cheese. We won't be back for a while. We thought it was just a one or two bad experiences, but the downward trend doesn't lie. Something will have to change for us to consider dining at Summit Grill again. And I hate that. It has been so good in the past. I wish them luck in figuring out how to fix these type issues.
WE love summit grill. Best food outside of downtown KC and the value is good. We rarely have to wait long and the service is great. We've liked everything that we've tried on the menu so far and enjoy the atmosphere. No complaints.
Normally a great atmosphere but tonight, it was really loud and smoky from the grill. My eyes were burning a little from it. We had reservations for 6:45 and when we arrived, the parking lot was packed. My husband had to park I a different lot and walk.
The food seemed a little charred but still edible.
We will be back; tonight just seemed a bit off from normal.
The food is delicious; the steak was magnificent. However, our experience with various employees left a lot to be desired and made our visit for our anniversary so-so. Not much of an attitude of gratitude for our patronage and lack of a service mind-set. It took over 2 hours for us to finish our meal here and we did not order dessert. 45 minutes to get our food and our server commented that he finally realized we didn’t have our food and went to check on it. I’m guessing this is attributed to him visiting in excess with other employees in the bar area as we witnessed on a trip to the restroom before leaving. Another server even took it upon himself to get us refills (this was nice of him!). I could not eat my meal due to dietary issues with the dish and it was obvious I took maybe 3 bites. He didn’t ask if there was an issue or if he could get me something else. I’m not one to complain, especially on our special occasion but at $100 for 2 people, I feel this is something a server should be attuned to. Probably won’t visit again for awhile.
This was my choice for a Mother's Day celebration. The food was excellent as usual. We were in a room off to the side, so the noise level was at a level that we could carry on a conversation. We were right next to the outside dining, so we had a good view and could take pictures and enjoy the nice weather from the inside. I appreciated the fact I could get my favorite (chicken tenders). There was so many and so large, we had leftovers . Everyone in my party enjoyed the meal including my 7 year old grandson and his macaroni. We shared desserts, but next time I am getting my own. I had Key Lime Pie and someone else had that Chocolate Mousse item. I had made reservations, and was so glad I did. Our server and the bar tender were most helpful even though we did not get any liquor except one glass of wine.
This is one of our favorite go to restaurants. The food is so good, the service is excellent and we always leave with a smile :)
As always, good food, served timely & at correct temperature. We were not asked if we wanted dessert but their loss.
Had dinner with my Daughter and Wife ordered the Salmon for them to split and a meal for myself
The waiter brought our food out and we saw it was the stuffed Salmon with different sides
he did not come back so I got up and found him and let him know the mistake as my Daughter could not have cheese
He apologized and order her the Salmon and let my wife the the dish he had brought and just charged us for the Salmon dish and my dinner.
They did take care of the issue and the food was great
