Oysters and fried clams were very good. Breading on fish and chips was so thick that it didn’t cook all the way through. Service, as always, was excellent, but overall food quality seems to have dropped off at Summer Shack over the past year
Eaten at Summer Shack quite a few times; however, the server for this meal had a personality that was friendly yet bordered on the overbearing. It diminished the dining experience for the three of us at Summer Shack. The consensus was that we wouldn't be back soon.
Went for my mom’s birthday dinner and everything was delicious! Definitely would recommend it to anyone who loves lobster or shellfish. And it was great with our three kids, too.
Wonderful. I like the interior improvements in the restaurant. It looks nicer and has a warmer and quieter feel.
Usually a really good restaurant but they were out of a bunch of food including crab legs and some of the deserts. Which was super disappointing.
Some of us enjoyed the meal better than others. Stick to what they do best--lobster and fish dishes. I had a Vietnamese salad, which lacked taste and the shrimp were very tiny ones that were overcooked.

Extremely yummy. I had the Smoked Salmon Hash, which was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Brunch is new for them and I think they knocked it out of the park.
You can count on anything Jasper White does will be done right. This nationally acclaimed chef has been out of the spotlight the past few years, but those in the know understand that he is one of the most talented chefs in the USA.
I've been coming here since it opened... must be somewhere approaching 20 years... not a lot has changed... and that's good for us, the diner.
Our shrimp cocktail, sold by the piece, was excellent. Craved the chicken, so that was my choice... my brother opting for the swordfish... he loved it.
Our waiter, Sal, has been there since they opened! If you're lucky enough to get him, you'll see he's as into his job as he was on day one... a great server who aims to please!
