   This is our second year coming here for Mother’s Day plus other times in between. This is my favorite, as the mother, place to be. Food is always good. Price is reasonable and atmosphere and ambiance and so comfortable. Service was excellent and noise was low enough to talk to each other. Another great meal at the Summer House.

   We had a really good meal. A little pricey but it was a nice experience. Our server Kenzie was very friendly and her service was great. The restaurant decor was pretty but the noise level was extremely loud. Very hard to have a conversation.

   Nice atmosphere right on the water, great service. Mimosa is served with OJ that has pulp which just turns me off. Food was pretty good, my hash browns were definitely overcooked but still edible. Would try again, just didn’t blow me away.

   This is one of our go-to restaurants. The menu is interesting and offers something for everyone. Having grown up in Carmel, I am a huge fan of their grilled artichoke and salads. Today my husband had the Simple Salad with added Salmon as a protein. He said it was moist and he really enjoyed it. My daughter had the Turkey sandwich which is not lacking in meat! She was a little perplexed by the fact that one half had mayonnaise on it and the other half had what appeared to be Dijon mustard. She said she would order it again. I ordered the hamburger for the first time. It was quite large and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, it lacked seasoning and had an overpowering grill taste. It reminded me of a Burger King burger with their grill taste (sorry). Our service was atypical for this restaurant. We have never had bad service before. I can’t attribute it to it being Mother’s Day as we were just there on Easter and have been there on other busy days and always had amazing service. Today the server didn’t offer drinks before taking our food order, didn’t ask if we were interested in an appetizer, didn’t explain the specials, didn’t refill our drinks and didn’t offer dessert. Again, this is really not the normal experience I looked around and other servers were providing the “normal” level of service. We just pulled the short straw. Bottom line: I do highly recommend this restaurant and we will go back. But if we get this server again we agreed that it would be better to politely leave.

   David R our server was awesome, he was aware of my black pepper allergy and made sure to check all the dishes . He was friendly, attentive and very professional. This was our first time there and we have already made plans to return

   We were given a table outside with a beautiful view of the water. Everything was very estheticallly pleasing. Server was professional and attentive. The food was nicely presented but lacked a bit in flavor. Bacon was definitely overcooked, hashbrowns were dry, cocktails lacked a garnish. We would go again if we could sit outside. The visuals made up for the food quality.
