Every Monday to Thursday from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, kids 12 and under can craft their own pizzas at the official pizza counter with our chefs for $7.95 plus tax (gratuity not included). Or opt for our tableside option, and have all the ingredients delivered to your table for the whole family to get in on the fun! Kids will wash their hands, use the flour to form the dough, spread their choice of red or white sauce, and build their zah with cheese and toppings of their choice. Once our team pops it in the oven, the pizza will be delivered back to your family’s table for an a-dough-able dinner. Please note, Kids Pizza Making is not offered during the weekend (Friday to Sunday).

On Wednesday, October 2 and Thursday, October 3, celebrate Rosh Hashanah with a holiday-inspired Prix Fixe at Summer House! The menu includes Challah Bread, Vegetarian “Chopped Liver,” Gefilte Fish, and Matzo Ball Soup alongside your choice of Grilled Loch Duart Salmon, Slow-Braised Beef Short Rib, or Wood Grilled Chicken Breast as your entree. For dessert, enjoy the Apple Galette. The holiday menu is available from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM for $54.95 per guest, and $24.95 for children 12 & younger (plus tax, gratuity not included). Great place for a family dinner or date night. All the gluten free diners in my group had a fantastic meal with lots of choices and even a birthday treat! The staff was excellent, and even though the restaurant was very busy, we were enjoying ourselves and didn’t mind waiting for our tea/coffee. The only downside was the women’s room. It needed cleaning, and slats were broken on one of the stall doors.

Our server Ray was excellent. The food was average, we ordered spaghetti with meatballs and spicy kale salad with salmon. The salad was very bland and flavorless, not spicy at all. The spaghetti was a little overcooked and came with only one meatball for $30 dish.

The service was pretty good, but the food was just ok. We ordered the beef meatball appetizer, two halibut dishes, a cheeseburger, the chicken with the arugula, and the brussel sprouts truffle fries-and sweet potato fries as a side. One of the halibuts came out raw in the middle so they kindly took it back and made a fresh one. The chicken was terrible, the truffle fries were more Parmesan than any truffle, but the Brussel sprouts and the meatballs were delicious. I was surprised they didn’t take part of the halibut meal off or even offer some type of compensation for one of us having to wait for our dinner while the rest of the family ate. Overall, a 3.5.

Very busy day Labour day so the service was not up to the usual standards. However they were very apologetic about that. Food was good and it is a nice restaurant with a good vibe.

Summer House is a nice restaurant. The food is quite good. Our server was very good. The only issue we had was that the fries came out just warm. Should be quite a bit hotter. Also, when we were leaving we bought some cookies. The cookies are very good, but we paid cash and it appears that they are not prepared to accept cash at the coffee/cookie bar. They had to get someone to take the payment, get change, etc., and when they returned they did not have the correct amount so the barista took more change from the tip jar to make it up. It should not take this long to make a transaction on the way out of the restaurant.

Service and ambiance on the outdoor patioj was great but they have changed the pizza menu . We each ordered the sausage and peppers pizza but it was not very good. The sausage looked and tasted like cat or dog food…
