This is a great place! We had a marvelous brunch with a great view of Lake Erie. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server, Holly, could not have been better! I highly recommend you try Summer House!

Our brunch was simply amazing. The service was impressive, the food was tasty and our hostess (K)Cathy was very accommodating to our group of friends and family. She and the team worked hard to ensure we were able to celebrate our occasion seated as close as possible on a busy Sunday afternoon.

I normally love Summer House, but today was a terrible experience. The food was average and it took 15 min to get salt and pepper. The meal was cold by the time it arrived. Then it took another 10-15 minutes for the server to bring our credit card back to the table to check out and leave. When we got home, we realized the server never did bring back our take home food. It wasn’t even a busy day! Incredibly disappointed with the experience.

The 2 person booths were very tight (I'm not a thin person). Asked to move and was told we could sit anywhere. Our server Maggie was great. She really endorsed the Short Rib entree. It came out refrigerator cold. I understand pre-cooking entrees, but I would have waited for hot food. My wife's walleye was perfect. I suspect they tried to time the entrees together. But there's no way a short rib gets cooked in 7 minutes. The sides with my entree were buried under a 50 degree Flintstones-sized bone of meat. I couldn't even find my sides. Maggie replaced my entree with the 14 oz strip which was perfect. They took 20% off the bill. They really owe Maggie a big "Thank you" for handling the situation like a champ. But the kitchen needs to figure out a few things.

Great location, modern very welcome atmosphere nature lights. Welcoming was very dry host need training simple smile it’s doesn’t cost $$$. Waitress was great happy , friendly, our lamb was served cold and not cooked very disappointing. I wish head chef saw that they served.

Lovely Saturday morning brunch at Summer House; waitstaff was terrific and food was delicious. Coffee nice and hot. We had a table by the window so the view was great. The staff brought me mango sorbet with a candle in it for my birthday. We will definitely return.

My cousin from Boston and I had brunch at Summer House this past weekend. The experience was wonderful. The cocktails were well crafted and the food was delectable. This hidden gem has amazing views of Lake Erie and a pleasant, soothing ambience. Oh, did I mention they have a pianist! Our waitress Holly was more than Amazing!! If you have not been, what are you waiting for?

We arrived in time for an early dinner and were seated with a wonderful view of the Cleveland city skyline and Lake Erie. It was not too crowded at this time (5 pm) and we were served quickly and pleasantly. We had one 7 yr. old with us and they were attentive to her needs. Our food was served timely and it was very good. The hummus is very tasty with fresh pita as well as the flatbread pizza. We had play tickets and were able to enjoy our dinner and be off in time for the show. Thanks for pleasant experience!

Had a wonderful evening celebrating a birthday with friends. George was our waiter and he was fantastic. He gallantly moved our table to the bar area (which we had requested, but the sullen hostesses refused to allow us there.). We enjoyed the fabulous lemonly hummus with toasted chickpeas sprinkled on top, served with fresh veggies and pita. George kept out glasses filled and gave good advice on dishes to order. The shishito peppers with cheese were also tasty. We adored the view of Cleveland and the attentiveness of George. The tables were never used that the hostesses deigned we should not have. Lest they forget, the view is the reason we came. George is the reason we stayed. Warm and welcoming should be their role as hostesses. If not for George, we would not return.

Summer House was in a great location! I thought that the food was a good price for what you’re getting. My boyfriend and I split the 1/2 chicken and it was AMAZING and more than enough for two. The drinks were also great. I will be going back for sure and possibly for lunch. The view form the restaurant of downtown was beautiful. I would recommend eating around sunset if possible. We were there very late

Food very good, cocktail ok. Prices were very fair Terrific view of downtown skyline and lighted yard. Server very pleasant and accommodating with a couple of minor missteps. Sat near bar and very noisy. My hunch is probably from the all the glass . The place is a keeper.

Went for Valentines Day and she loved it. She plays piano so the surprise of the live piano made her night even better. Food was amazing as well. Absolutely recommend Summer House for all occasions even a brunch we went to a few months back.
