Or opt for our tableside option, and have all the ingredients delivered to your table for the whole family to get in on the fun! Kids will wash their hands, use the flour to form the dough, spread their choice of red or white sauce, and build their zae with cheese and toppings of their choice.     Always love the summer house! First time for dinner and it was wonderful. Delicious food, appropriate portion sizes and fun cocktails. Lots of birthday celebrations everywhere!!

    The food was good, but our service was atrocious. Our waitress abandoned us, and we waited nearly a hour and half for our food. In addition, it took around 45 minutes for our drinks to come. I heard great things about the restaurant, but I sincerely disappointed on our experience. The food was good, but the overall experience significantly under valued the food.

    The light colored furnishings and environment take you to a summer environment. The home made cookies are wonderful and we had the BEST service! Children receive special attention - thank you!

    Our server Edin was great. I was catching up with an old friend and he could read the table and stop by when we needed him and gave us time when we did too. Food was great and runners were very on point.

    The ambiance was lovely. But when my cousin and I left, she noticed a $30 tip was applied to card without her knowledge. I usually recommend this location but this time the food was cold and I wasn’t given utensils, (for calamari w/ sauce) and the later charge was. Cherry on top. But everything else was lovely. Maybe won’t sit at the bar next time.

    The food here is amazing! We got the Cobb salad, Tex mex salad, and burgers. The drinks were so cute and delicious. We we’re also supervised with a delicious birthday dessert! The service was amazing!!

    Staff was great. Hostess re-sat us without a problem when we didn't want to be in the noisy main room. Server was kind enough to split our food onto separate plates without asking. Food and drink was great. I would go more often if it weren't so noisy, but that's a sign that other people like it too.

    I am always so grateful for every one and everything at Summer House! This was an extraordinary event tonight. Thank you so much for making it possible for me to join — celiac and alcohol free. I would love to have a mocktail class! The ones from tonight were fantastic!!! Truly the best non alcoholic drinks to go with food I have ever had and it’s what I miss most about drinking (the food pairings)

    We visit Chicago often and always eat at Summer House. Our experience yesterday was very disappointing- cookie recipes have changed and the food quality was poor. I’m hoping their expansion plans have not resulted in a loss of quality.

    Ambience was good and staff was great. Had a reservation for 6:30 and was not seated till after 7pm. My chicken sandwich has no flavor and my fries were sad and cold. My drink was excellent.

    It’s 38 outside, and the air conditioning is blowing on the back of my neck. It is so cold my food is not very warm.

    Incredible service from the hostess stand to our server, very friendly and welcoming. Guac and chips is a great starter and the fish tacos were great! The Brussels sprout salad was also delicious. Grab a cookie and brownie at the bakery on your way out the door, the gluten free options of both are so good!

    The food was extremely bland. The sourdough wasn’t very sour, and came with unsalted butter. The breakfast burrito was probably the most dry I’ve ever experienced and was under seasoned. The salsas were pretty tasty and helped supplement the dryness/blandness. The indoor dining patio area was beautiful. If we were seated there it might have made up a bit for the food.

    We came here for brunch on our daughter’s 15th birthday. The table we sat at was perfect for our part size and the space was gorgeous and sun-filled, even thought it was a cloudy day. Good was wonderful and many healthy and gluten-free options. Highly recommend. Will be back!
