Server was great ! Super sweet, kind and informative ! I forgot her name but she was on the shorter side, has glasses and curly hair. Thank you for the amazing experience !
Service was terrible. Drinks and food brought at uneven times during the meal. One out of three meals was made wrong. Bill was wrong as they charged us 3 times for one drink. This was on a quiet night so it can't be attributable to being busy. Food is still good, but the service was so bad that I wouldn't go back anytime soon.
never got seen when i went there. no one ever served us after 20minutes of sitting there
Menu was not as expansive as I remember & selections were just ok but prices were higher than we remember. Rigatoni with meatball had 1 meatball, fish special had asparagus but no rice option. Burger was fine. It was just an average experience. Don’t sit on the bar side, it’s dark & noises. Our server was excellent.
It was wonderful. Our waitress was great and let us have extra time to continue our conversation!
This was honestly my worst experience ever at Summer House - and I frequent this place. I reservation was for an inside table for a birthday celebration for two. Upon arrival, the place was packed, so did not feel comfortable eating inside, so opted for outside - this really is not a big deal for us as we also enjoy sitting outside (the iffy weather is what prompted the inside reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday). After being seated outside, we waited an unusually long time for even water to be brought to our table. Then, literally 5 tables were sat in our same section and I told my husband it was going to be a while (previous waitress here) due to the immediate influx of folks. It literally took no less than 20 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order. Had I known I wasn't going to see her for another 30 minutes we would have ordered apps and dinner at that time. Needless to say, our drinks never came. Another gentleman was kind enough to step in and took our order (apps and dinner) for which he said the app would be right out. He inquired about drinks but we told him we had already given our drink order to the waitress. About 10 minutes later our main dishes arrive (no drinks or apps yet - thank goodness we had water). The waitress finally reappeared and asked how things were going. Responded that we had not received drinks or apps. She looked surprised and said she would follow up. Next thing we know our apps arrived - still no sign of our alcoholic beverages. A short time later, the same gentleman from earlier who took our food order came back and apologized for losing our drink order (which we didn't give to him, we gave to our original waitress). A few minutes later our drinks finally arrived. The bill came and of course, charged full amount, including COVID fee (which I really don't mind considering everything). The gentleman who took our bill offered a cookie "on him" to compensate for the service. Not acceptable.
Sadly, we won’t be returning. Spent nearly $175 on lunch and a few cocktails. Service was subpar & our waitress’ mask wasn’t covering her nose/mouth properly whenever she would stop by our table.
Menu did not adequately describe the meal. Chicken tostadas where served with a chili like sauce not included on the menu. Salmon bagel had a hint of cream cheese and needed much more. Nice place but probably not going for a return visit.
Freezing! Apparently all heaters are broken. Food is mediocre but couldn’t be enjoyed in the extreme temperatures.
In a group of 5 good friends, we were very happy to have outdoor dining on a beautiful day. The waitstaff were perfect in their timing. We had appetizers and wine/beer -- delightful. We look forward to doing this again!
The weather was just perfect! We had to go eat at our favorite restaurant!
Nice late lunch outside on the patio. Food was very good. Service was a little slow but it was a beautiful day and it was crowded. Knife and Fork Caesar Salad was excellent.
Outdoor service is slow, took too long for the drinks
The cocktails were awful . Good so so . Wouldn’t return
Our (party of 4) experience was rather poor. We were there for a weekend brunch. The food was okay and the drinks, especially the hot chocolate, was well below standard. We have had brunch at this restaurant before and there seems to have been a sharp decline in food and drinks quality. Overall it was an extremely disappointing experience.
Loved the wood fired halibut and asparagus special. Service was great. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. It was a rainy night so I look forward to a return visit when all the windows are open. Parking nearby was a bargain -$1.00
I made a reservation and ended up sitting in a corner instead of being placed within the actual restaurant
This has easily become my favorite restaurant since moving here! Great date spot, brunch spot, or just take out for a meal in bed!
This place is amazing, location of perfect and so was the service. I plan on coming back soon
It was amazing! Food was great & so was the service!
We have come here for holiday bruches and have never been dissapointed! The service is great and the food is fresh!
We made a reservation for 6 people based on the description of the place, that there was outdoor seating with heating and that's why we chose this place. When we arrived, there was no heating outside and there was no social distancing inside and it was extremely crowded. When we checked in for our reservation, we were told that the wait would be at least 40 minutes. There were 4 older people in our party and we just couldn't wait. Why allow reservations if they aren't going to be honored and why have an incorrect description of the place? We won't be back, that's for sure.
Great server. Pizza was delicious.
Everyone so nice. Great bartender-in-training..Chris
The prices are extremely inflated right now. Happy hour from 2-5pm is silly. I shouldn't have to pay$16 for ONE cocktail at 5pm. At least end by 6. Outdoor area is nice but the tables are not 6ft apart and people bring their dogs and when the tables are close dogs are barking at eachother and it's obnoxious. I love a cute dog, but this isn't a dog park. The area where we sat didn't have heat lamps either so slightly chilly. The waiter was good. I never have a service issue here.
3 people (4 drinks) and 4 apps at 530ish. Bill including 15% gratuity was over $220! I used to love this restaurant, but we aren't going back.
It was great! Wonderful Cobb salad, and because it was my birthday they brought me a humongous chocolate chip cookie with more chocolate drizzled on it and two candles!
Birthday lunch with friends. The food was excellent and our server was great.
I am giving Summer House a one star review because I booked a Passover dinner reservation at 8PM that would be for a specific 4 course meal for my party and when we got there the Summer House manager simply forgot about my reservation and told us that there was no more reserved food left for the Passover meal and they are sorry for it, but nothing they can do at that time. They didn't offer anything for their error and there was no accountability when the reservation was specifically for their Passover meal and they failed to provide per the reservation. I call that very sloppy concern for a loyal customer of their establishment and it showed no care for accountability to make up for the mistake.
Great food, great value, attentive staff and stylish west coast decor!!!
Love Summer House is coming back to life!
Great Sunday brunch as always
Had a wonderful time, our server was on point, attended to our needs on time, and was very courteous. Good vibe seating outdoor for brunch.
Food was great, server was friendly and helpful.
All ok somewhat middle of the road fare. Nothing special. Dinner menu a bit more like a lunch menu. Good vibe, albeit a bit crowded for COVID protocols, even with open and outdoor seating.
The place is great but very expensive for what you get.
Absolutely amazing. We are new to the area and came here for lunch. Got the house made chips, grilled cheese and tomato soup and absolutely melted. Service was awesome too! Will be coming back.
We were outside on the street side - way too noisy with the parade of cars going by. Also, we were at shift change so we waited about 20 minutes for the waiter to get to us - and she never did - the off duty waiter took our order. Then when we were nearing completion, the waitress tried to take my drink class with about 1 inch of drink still in it.....The food was delicious - got the rueben, my favorite sandwich, and it did not disappoint. But when you only have 1.5 to 2 hours to eat (per MoCo guidelines), it's not pleasant to wait for your order to be taken.
That being said - I will be back -
Great food! Great drinks
The restaurant was very crowded, but we were seated right away and served quickly. The restaurant took our temperature, which made me feel very comfortable because no one in there was sick. We wore masks, as was required. We had a very pleasant experience.
My daughter ordered a pasta dish.
