   The food we had (chicken Shisha and side of crispy potatoes) was excellent. Really tasty and good value. Service was ok and very friendly and no issues with speed of service. We went early (5:30) so wasn’t busy at that time. We would highly recommend and will definitely go back to try some of their other dishes. Only issue. The website and A-frame show Octupus but it isn’t on the menu.

   Outstanding. Best middle eastern food we’ve had in a long long time and that’s actually our cultural background. Could not fault the taste, quality and presentation of the food. The service was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. We are already planning to go back. Thank you Sumac & Onion for a terrific night.

   The food used to be great, but it's dropped off since the last time I visited.The fatoush salad was pretty soggy and not very good.at all. Overall the other meals were ok, but had lost freshness and flavour since I last ate here. However, it is the service that needs the greatest improvement. The meals came at the wrong time and staff needed reminding that other meals were meant to arrive at the table. It's a good local place, but it used to be great and if they can handle the number of tables then scale it down to something more manageable.

    We had a fabulous meal, they merged traditional and modern Eastern Mediterranean dishes very well. The dishes we ate had great flavors and all very fresh and made to order. We with our friends look forward to returning to enjoy another fabulous meal by the Sumac & Onion team
