Bill is an excellent Manager at this Location. The food was great and Bill makes you feel very welcome.
3/10 Celebration of Birthday
I told him in the beginning before I came that it was a birthday and they never responded back or gave a birthday wish or anything and I felt like I shouldn't have had to say it again when I had already wrote an email
My husband and I have eaten here a few times. The steaks are always good. Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We also had the cheesesteak rolls, soup and salad. All good. Gave them a four on the food because I didn’t really enjoy the mash potatoes, husband’s au gratin potatoes or the cheesecake. So, I now know not to order them again. I’ve always loved the food here so was a little surprised. Will be back though.
Food was very good an prepared well. Excellent waitress explained each course. Cocktails were very nicely done. I was surprised with a family picture and complementary dessert for my birthday. Excellent evening.
Just like their big brother, Del Friscos, Sullivan's is one of the few places I trust to deliver a perfectly prepared steak that's worth spending the extra money on. Their ambiance and attention to detail with their service is second to none.
First time our family experienced the atmosphere of Sullivan.
We arrived early and we were sat promptly in a “date night “ corner as requested.
Overall our waiter and food were excellent. The wine choices were limited but v good.
The only complaint and it’s more of an annoyance is that the table next to us had collarless shirts and kept their hats on. I don’t care if their going bald. If it bothers him that much - get a toupee. Very disrespectful to a really nice Resturant and the hard working servers.
Anyone without a collar or who won’t remove their hats should be offered a seat in the bar.
Great food and service. Great choice on a cold a snowy night.
Over all, a very nice evening. Although, my personal feeling is that some of the items on the menu are a bit overpriced. Having said that, everything we ordered came to our table cooked to perfection.
Wine Stewart was very knowledgeable, waitress was awesome
Service was good. I did not like the steak,my dates lobster was extremely rubbery. I found it to be very pricy and foid was not worth it.
Very noisy where we were sitting. The wine prices are outrageous. Steak was delicious as always. We got the all inclusive with a bottle of wine. The cost was $165. Too much for us.
My $67 steak was served medium rare when I asked for medium (pink throughout, not red). They took the time to ask everyone in my party to check their steaks to see if they were done to their liking. Mine was the only one not so. They took it back and heated it some more and brought it back overcooked. This is the second time in two visits that this same thing has happened. So once again I celebrated my daughter's birthday by watching everyone enjoy their meal because they could not have prepared another steak and gotten it to me in time to dine with the rest of my party. They did take it off of the bill and offered some appetizers as something they could give me to eat quickly, but I declined because we came to Sullivan's for a steak dinner. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals.
My first experience at this restaurant was an unforgettable one. They provided the best service. The food was out of this world. They did make a mistake with my friends steak but replaced it free of charge.
Celebrating my wife's birthday. We don't usually go anywhere that doesnt serve chicken fingers becasue of the kids but we went crazy tonight!
Room was elegantly modern with nice background music. We were greeted by ourfriendly server almost immediately and the service was efficient but not rushed. The food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. One of my pet peeves is having an empty water glass and that did not happen. The bill was hefty but you expect that when you go to a higher end restauant.
Overall Sullivan's was a grreat experience and I would recommned it to all.
It was enjoyable experience.
I am writing this review with the hope that the management will work to bring Sullivan's back to its previous high standards.
On the evening were were there, Sullivan's was not the special place it used to be. The little things you expect from a high-end restaurant were lacking. For example, those who brought the bread and water, and eventually our food to our table were rushed and sloppy. Half-filled water glasses, dishes plopped down abruptly, the napkin used to carry my plate (and probably others) was dragged through my dish and slopped all over.
My husband's steak, while cooked medium-rare as requested, was served cold. I was served uncooked, unseasoned bok choy under the sea bass. Our waitress brought a new dish of bok choy after I complained, and it was the same. No saute, no steaming, no oil or seasoning. In a word - inedible.
We were seated in the back room, which was chilly and had very little ambiance. Leaving empty, long banquet tables along one wall in the back room seems out of character with the restaurant and not what you expect at a place charging top dollar. This back room is higher than the main dining room, and as we sat there and I looked out at the "pretty" main room, I couldn't help making comparisons.
Bottom line, when you spend this much money, you should get, at the every least, well-prepared food. So disappointing.
Excellent as always, pricey but worth the money! I highly recommend that you give it a try.
Food was great. Service was excellent. My only complaint was the seating. We went the Saturday after Valentine's Day. We were seated immediately but it was like they inserted extra tables wherever they had space. You were so close to other patrons I could reached over and touch the lady at the table next to me. Plus I could hear their entire conversation. I felt cramped with no privacy.
The food came out way too fast and did not give us a chance to enjoy each course. The amount of money spent did not seem to match the overall value. The food was good but when spending close to three hundred for a dinner for two it needs to be outstanding - it needs to blow you away. It's not that the restaurant was bad just not worth the three hundred dollars - for this amount there are some other high restaurants we would choose. I believe it was the experience more than food quality. Made a comment to the manager walking around the dining room floor but he came across as too important and too busy for our comments/suggestions. I believe the most important person in the room is the customer - just my opinion.
We were seated near the kitchen and the room was loud. The steaks were cooked as requested. The room was busy and our server was very attentive.
Salmon Rockefeller was great and so was my daughter's Filet Mignon. Tom was excellent.
Always enjoy Sullivan’s; had a delicious steak with tasty side dishes; very friendly and timely service.
Food was excellent, both seafood and steak. Service was good, ambience cozy, but it is quite pricey.
We frequent Sulllivan's whenever in the mood for a really great steak or to celebrate an occasion. The menu was recently updated and offers the same great quality with a few new twists. Highly recommend this restaurant to friends and colleagues.
Meal was excellent. The only ding in experience was wife requested no pork in her meal and noticed pork bacon pieces in here salmon that was garnished on plate. Night ended early
Food is always cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive.
Went out for Valentines Day, the food was excellent as always. Our server was very nice and polite. Enjoyed our night out.
steak was done to perfection. waitress was outstanding
This was a Valentine's Day dinner for my husband and myself. I always have trouble when I order steak out( even at high end steakhouses). So I ordered the chicken. This was a $79 fixed price menu. First they brought the wrong entree to my husband. Then they brought both of our entrees and and my chicken was black and hard. My entree was taken back and I ate the baked potato and my husband his meal so these didn't get cold. They finally brought my entree after my husband had finished his meal. Foiled once again :(. They comped my meal but I'd have much rather pay for my meal and enjoy it WITH my husband!
Excellent food, fantastic service. Our favorite spot for Valentine's Day...
We had an enjoyable dinner, the service was great, and as always the food was terrific.
Excellent celebration restaurant with very good special three-course deal.
only disappointment was the lobster/shrimp bisque soup, all bisque, didn't have single piece of seafood in it. Advised hostess when she asked how are meal was, explained, she said she would take off of bill, she did not.
We were seated on top of one another. It felt uncomfortable to even talk. Food took 45 minutes to come out and in that time not once did our waitress check on us. It was then explained it took so long because it was "well done" Way overpriced for a mediocre food. Not our first time there, but definitely won't be back.
We have been going to this Sullivan's for many years, but we had stopped for a while because we thought the service and attention to detail by all the servers had gone downhill.
We went for Valentine's Day and we were extremely happy to see new faces and the service
was top notch.
The food was also outstanding and on busy nights sometimes this can be an issue, but they are
back on their game!!
We are very happy!!
We visited Sullivan's to celebrate my Husband's 50th birthday. It was an excellent experience. We had a reservation and were seated as soon as we arrived. The service was excellent overall and the meal was very good. My filet was a little overdone, but it still tasted fantastic. My husband's steak (huge bone-in ribeye) was done just right and he brought half of it home. This was our first experience dining here, but it will not be our last.
We have been going to Sullivan's for over 10 years, but I would have to say the last couple I think the food consistency has been declining. I would say the last five times I've been the quality of my steak I that of a supermarket steak. Over the last year we have mixed it up and visited a Sullivan's competitor and found it much better, a little more expensive, but much better. I think this last dinner at Sullivan's will be our last.
Saturday night is a popular time to go as the restaurant was close to 20mins backed up when it came to seating reserved parties. Once seated, the server was very nice and attentive and seemed to feel bad that the bread guy missed us and that our steaks were initially overcooked. They corrected the issue with no problem. The food was generally good, I enjoyed everything. The Bananas Foster breast pudding was really good.
