Excellent food service was great will be back
Excellent birthday dinner!
Our food was delicious. Everything was prepared perfect. We had shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad and salad wedge, I had filet mignon and my husband had mahi mahi and the dessert was to die for. It was the chocolate bomb
Our waiter Blythe was excellent.
We would definitely go back
We came here for brunch today in between during two appointments. It was our first time having brunch at Sullivan's. We really enjoyed it! Our waiter, Sean, was friendly and very funny! For drinks, Dad and I had water, and Mom had regular coffee with sugar and whole milk. For appetizers, we had bread and butter, and Mom and Dad ordered the Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. They loved them! They had fillet mignon, cheese, onions, and peppers, a sweet and spicy chili sauce, and a honey mustard sauce. For the main course, Mom ordered the Napa Valley Chicken Salad Sandwich, which she enjoyed. It had chicken salad, roasted hazelnuts, grapes, and was served on toasted challah bread, and was served with a mixed greens salad and fries. Dad ordered the Challah and Hazelnut French Toast. It was served with toasted hazelnuts, crispy bacon, powdered sugar, and hot maple syrup. It was yummy! I ordered the Gruyère Eggs With Asparagus, which were delicious! They were eggs with gruyère cheese, and they were served alongside fingerling potatoes, fresh spinach, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes. I would definitely get it again! For dessert, I ordered the Vanilla Creme Brulee, which was a rich custard with a crisp caramelized sugar glaze on top, served with fresh berries and whipped cream. It was yummy, as always! We will definitely be back for brunch again soon! Thanks Sullivan's!
The only area for improvement is in the temperature of the food when served. The flavor was delicious. But by the time the food was served it was lukewarm at best and the scrambled eggs looked as if they had been sitting waiting. They only had one waiter on duty while we were there so not sure if that was a factor. Could have been off the charts but missed the mark on that piece.
Good food great service.
I don’t know what I love more...the seafood tower (bowl) and its Louie dipping sauce or Bryan our waiter. He is on his game every time.
Fantastic tasting and perfectly cooked steaks! Our entire party was pleased and happy with dinner. Service is exceptionally attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is relaxing. I highly recommend Sullivan’s and will return.
Great food and service. We had a great time and our waitress was exceptional
Best steak in town!! Great service! Will be back! Good wine selection by the glass and bottle!
Corey the waiter was exceptional. He was very attentive and pleasant. The food was delicious. Corey made sure I was able to enjoy my meal while trying to keep the calorie content on the lower side by requesting that the chef not add butter and oils that were not necessary. I have asked in other restaurants and the waiter says he will make sure but the food always comes out loaded with butter or oil.
It was our anniversary. Our table had rose petals and a card. Our server took our picture. It was very nice!
Food was great but service was slow and a little inattentive.I expected some delay as we were a large party but a coworker for example asked a refill on water four times (to various servers) except it did not arrive. During the wait time, the table was being cleared, desserts were ordered and delivered.
Sullivan’s never disappoints in the meal they serve up !
Sullivan's Steakhouse in Wilmington has potential, but the staff is in desperate need of training. The restaurant is very nice, seemed clean. My husband and I were celebrating with our young son. We ordered the seafood platter, porterhouse and a couple of sides. The entree came out on top of the appetizers, the food was not hot, the bar was tremendously slow with drinks (or maybe it was our server - who was oblivious), and there was no bus service. Plates didn't get cleared, water didn't get refilled...just plain bad service. We had to ask for steak knives and plates! Not to mention, we spent over $300. Beware - you will likely not have a "steakhouse" experience here. Next time we will head into Philadelphia for Capital Grille or Butcher and Singer!
Service was slow
Your getting mediocre food at best and it’s way over priced. The decor is nothing to IG about.
Seafood Appetizers and Breadpudding Desserts was the only highlights of the evening
Food was amazing and service was A1 . I will be back very soon
They really need a manager who knows how to handle the staff.. this was our early Valentines dinner. We do not go the actual day because service is not good since everyone is overworked since it is busy with so many customers!! That said, This time is is half empty. We have a reservation but the hostess and do not know what the other girl did.. have to talk about what ever fir 10 minutes while we wait for Amanda to come sit us... what!!! Starts off poor. Waiter was nice but slow.... got some of our leftovers but not all??!! What??? Steak was okay not great.. salad they do not even cut up the romaine lettuce.. you have to do it...
The best part of meal was drink and desert. Their signature martini and banana foster bread pudding. No going again.. been there before and service slow and did not get leftovers.. I am done with the overpriced, slow, poor quality of food!!!
Go to Firebirds right down the road, great service, pineapple martini is better, Filet and salad better and half the price for a much better experience!!
My poor date was not very happy...
The food and service is excellent
Always great food
Great birthday dinner for my wife!
We had a fabulous birthday dinner. The initial greeting was warm and welcoming. The service was extraordinary (thank you again, Gina). We were five family members and spent over three hours we were never rushed. Our server was there when we needed anything, but never interrupted our hilarity (☺️). The food was delicious. Everyone had a different meat and each was perfectly cooked. Loved the potatoes gratin, the BLT salad and desserts. A truly memorial meal and evening. We won’t wait for another birthday to return!
Try the spaghetti squash, it’s soooo good.
I took my husband to Sullivan’s for his birthday. Our server was good and attentive. The food was ok, my husbands steak was cold and the cheesecake we got had a dark spot on it which had a very harsh taste. I didn’t see the spot and what made me analyze the cake was the horrible taste.
I have had better quality food for better pricing. Sullivan’s is overpriced for what they offer.
Additionally I did not receive my points for my dining experience. Although I did forget, I was not reminded by my server. After $228 I would like all of my points.
This restaurant was always our 'go-to.' It has really slipped. The service was terrible. Waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks. Waited another 30 minutes for our salads - had two bites and our dinner arrived. My steak was undercooked and my potatoes were overcooked. Dirty glasses sat all over the table for the entire meal. Not sure we will return anytime soon.
We go to Sullivan’s every year for our anniversary and are never disappointed. It was a busy Saturday night so our reservation was a little late understandably. A server greeted us promptly and got things going with water and drinks. He reviewed the menu, asked if we had any questions and answered them. Each course came out promptly and the steaks were cooked just right. We did not feel rushed and enjoyed the experience. We split a very good size dessert that was on the house for our special day. It was a little noisy but expected on a packed Saturday night. We will continue our tradition next year. Thank you!
We had a very nice meal. NY Strip steak special was incredible and just what our steak lovers were seeking tonight. They were cooked to perfection at MR. The crab cakes were tasty but served luke warm at best. It was disappointing that they didnt have a light golden brown (somewhat crispy on top) appearance but brussel sprouts and mac n cheese made up for it. I also brought one home to cook a little longer tomorrow. CHOCOLATE meltdown dessert and the overall service from our waiter, Brice, were impeccable.
Excellent preparation of food. Exceptional service provided by Elizabeth.
I've enjoyed Sullivans in Wilmington, DE for the past 5 years, great food, wonderful staff, and a fantastic ambiance!
Amazing service and food!
Dinner was great...service was a little slow...as our waitress was working on a table of 12. No one greeted us right away and the manager came over to apologize.
It was my birthday so appreciated the dessert as a surprise. All in all, it was a good evening.
One of my favorite restaurants. Love the food and atmosphere. Service is always top notch. I recommend the table side blt salad and bone in filet. Will be back there soon.
My $41 steak was just ok - it was a little overdone and it was dry on the outside.
Excellent dinner experience. Glad to see the restaurant is back in track. Had a couple of bad experiences in the past but it has gotten much better.
We've been to this Sullivans many times. This time was probably the best experience we've had which is saying something. Our server, Shay was as sweet, personable and professional as can be. She was so on top of her game!!!! She arrived at our table w a huge smile and was as friendly as can be. I truly hope Sullivan's management knows what they have w this young lady!!! Ask for Shay when you make a reservation. You WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!
I’m so glad I had my mom’s birthday dinner here! The hostesses and servers were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious with healthy portions. We had a great time!
Ordered cowboy ribeye (med rare) and the steak was extremely tough. Crab cakes were good but very small for price.
