Excellent meal. This was our second time visiting as we are from Canada. We came here last year for an excellent dinner, and a year later, they still don’t fail to impress.

Everything from the delicious French fashioned cocktail (delicious) to the wonderfully warm bananas foster bread pudding.

3 of us ordered the 12 oz filet and after being delivered the server asked us to cut into the steaks to ensure they were done to perfection, before leaving our table.

I highly recommend getting the “Sullivan’s special” on your steak. 3 jumbo shrimp with a hot garlic parmesan butter poured over top. To die for.

Waiter josh was excellent. Attendant help was there when needed and did jobs quickly and left
Four soups were excellent
Three steaks were perfect. One person said his filet was a little tough and grainy

Hostess greeted us with a birthday greeting when we arrived, when she sat us and when we left. But the waiter, Vladimir, never mentioned it. Also he did not serve my wife first, especially since it was her birthday. At each serving drinks, salad and entree and desert he served mine first. Otherwise he did a courteous job.

Arrived for our reservation to an empty host desk. Waited for 3-4 minutes for a very nice woman to seat us. She sat us and wished us happy anniversary. Our server approached and bumbled through his spiel, he was very awkward. He asked if we were celebrating, I would assume that the hostess gave him the chit that stated an anniversary. The server stopped by 3 times attempting to take our order. He really did not read us very well we were conversing and obviously not even looking at our menus. We ordered our starter the steak egg roll, it was tasty but a bit greasy. We both had the wedge, it was average. I had a 12oz strip and my wife had a 6oz filet both from the Prix Fixe menu and a side of Brussels sprouts. Our steaks arrived and we were instructed to cut into the center to make sure they were to our liking. My wife’s M was M+ to MW and my MR was MW. My wife elected to eat hers and I sent mine back. About 5 minutes after I sent for a recook we realized that we hadn’t received our Brussels sprouts, they arrived 1 minute later. The manager arrived and apologized for the overcook and I informed him about the sprouts and their tardiness. My steak arrived and was cooked MR. Both of our steaks were good. We requested for our desserts Togo. The cheesecake was average and the bananas foster bread pudding could have been excellent if it wasn’t for the under ripe Bananas baked into it. The check came and the server charged us for one of the dessert that came with the Prix Fixe menu. We paid with a gift card we received for Christmas and a credit card for overage and tip. The server came back and tossed the presenter back on our table and mumbled something unintelligible and walked away. We were very confused and looked in the check presenter and only saw the credit card but no slip to add tip and sign. He returned a few minutes later and took he check again. We think he needed a manager to run gift cards but why bring the presenter back?

The Tucson, AZ Sullivan’s Steakhouse is the best restaurant in the greater Tucson area. The manager and staff are both professional and welcoming. They treat each customer as a king or queen and very, very special. We are repeat customers because we are treated like both royalty and family at the same time. A very unique experience. We wish all our family and friends , plus the greater Tucson area could experience Sullivan’s Steakhouse like we have.

Dined on New Year's day evening. 6 guests. Of the 6, 3 we're unable to get what they ordered, 1 had to be offered different whiskey. Poor percentages. It was explained to us that New Year's Eve was very busy. Understood, however, perhaps it is better to tell when offering the evenings special, items not available. Better yet, don't open. Our server came to our table three separate times to tell us what we had ordered was not available, as did the bartender which brought along a glass of rye whiskey in place of the bourbon my husband had been drinking, as they had run out of the bourbon. (Bourbon and rye are two very different whiskey - the bartender should have know that). Additionally, food for some other table was brought to ours. We selected Sullivan's specifically for the service, which in past visits had been amazing and over the top. Frankly, it was embarrassing. It was an expensive embarrassing disappointment.

Our reservation was for 9:15 but we weren’t seated until 10. We got our starter course fairly quick. Our waiter came back after about 15 minutes of us finishing our starter asking if we had received our salads, which we hadn’t. We received our salads and that’s when our waiter went MIA. About 20 minutes later a runner came with our main course but couldn’t set them down because of our salad course not being cleared from the table. By then my girlfriend had had enough between us having to wait for our table and our waiter not attending to our table. He had our main course boxed along with our desserts and left the restaurant at 11:30pm. Overall after being seated it took nearly an hour and a half for us to receive our main course. If we would have stayed and finished our main course and dessert I’m sure we would have been waiting until 1am for our check. The food was great but for the price I would say ok. The overall service was below that of a fast food restaurant, table not being cleared between courses, drinks sitting empty nearly the entire hour and a half we were seated for examples. At the end of the day I would never consider coming back due to the simple lack of service one would expect for a upper mid level steak house. I would rather spend more and go to Fleming’s or less and go to Outback/Texas Roadhouse/other chain steak restaurant.

Fish was horrible. First time almost raw! Second time, half raw! Changed to steak. Sides replaced by excellent waiter after two raw fish and waiting for steak. Bar great. Others in party had to wait 45min for my meal. Not sure will return. Maybe just to bar area

The only problem I had was that they took the big knife used to cut the bread, away when they took the bread dish away and did not replace it with a knife I could use on the Iceberg lettuce wedge I had for dinner. This was the waiter helpers. I had to use the fork to cut thru the ice berg lettuce wedge and almost lost the wedge when it slid off the plate.

We love Sullivan’s. We know we can count on a great meal and pleasant experience. This was New Year’s Eve and we were a party of 10. Our reservation was for 5:45. I was surprised that our table wasn’t ready since it was so early in the evening. Then it was as if you’d never set a table for 10. Initially it was set up with 5 people per side, which was impossibly tight, so we moved 2 to the ends of the table. It was still tight, but manageable. The other problem was that the chairs were very wobbly. We switched out 3 of them & still had wobbly chairs. This was very disappointing since this is a high-end restaurant. Surely you can manage to have chairs that don’t feel like they’re about to fall apart!

The place was busy
Not enough servers for the amount of people
Food was ok.

Our reservations were for 1730HRS on 12/31/17

We ate our meal then went back to our hotel

My wife got really sick after eating the Seafood Bisque Soup.

I called the restaurant after we got back to the hotel.

The person who answered the phone said someone will call you tomorrow.

Still no calls.

I would not recommend nor eat there again.

Dinner and service was pretty good overall. It was NY Eve so the server was extremely busy and apologized for neglecting us. We enjoyed the steak, the roasted califlower was a huge head and not very flavorful. I would recommend having the Bone-in Wagyu strip.

Food is always good. Location is excellent. Super clean!!! Server in bar was not very sharp. She was very nice but not well trained and clearly didn't want to be there on New Years Eve. Nice place in Tucson for a weekday Happy Hour... A bit over priced.. maybe 15% too high for Tucson.. But its a great meal if you can afford it.

Our server was great. However, I am extremely disappointed in my steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium well and it was prepared maybe medium. It was completely pink/bloody inside. Our server was so nice that I felt bad to send it back. I could only eat a few bites.

We expected Sullivan's to be a fancy steakhouse, and it did not disappoint. The dining room was spacious, not cramped (as Durant's in Phoenix tends to be), and there was low-level ambient music that did not overwhelm table conversation. The service was very attentive, considerate, and helpful, including a visit from the manager checking on the guests. The menu was varied, not too sparse, and there were specials the waitress told us about as well as a Prix Fixe three-course meal option. The portions were right sized; we did not need to take any home to loose their virtue in the fridge. The courses were spaced out in time; the table was cleared of the last before the next was presented. The only drawback was the price for the meal, which was not really unexpected for a fancy steakhouse. Also, while we did not sample it, they have an extensive wine selection, an adjacent bar, and patio dining. Very, very nice.

We arrived at 5:00pm, the opening dinner hour Sunday night (I would not recommend Sundays as the personnel seem wore out and not too ready to make you feel really happy to be there.) The receptionist was talking on the phone and made us wait. After choosing a booth, the waiter did not show up for a while. When our waiter arrived, we were advised that wine was 50% off on the whole wine list. We decided to order a cocktail first. We were waiting quite a while before the waiter returned. He apologized and said that water would be coming soon and that they were still baking the bread. He asked us if it was a special occasion (I was in a tux and my wife had a corsage on her dress.) When we arrived we told the receptionist it was our anniversary (it was also on the Open Table reservation). The next person to arrive asked us again if it was a special occasion. By this time, it wasn't turning out too special in our minds. We ordered the fixed price dinner and enjoyed the food. When the bill arrived the wine charge was full price, so I had to have the waiter correct the bill. We would not go back to Sullivan's.

Your entrees are way over priced....and do not include a side!! Wow, I never experienced that before. I ordered the Artic Char...the fish was delicious, but asked for more sauce. Also ordered asparagus and paid $1 a spear???? Horrible prices!!
Atmosphere was great, we were in the lounge with music. Drinks were wonderful, waitress was great. But my fish looked awfully lonely on that big plate alone. I would not have a problem with the meal if the meat included the side.

We’ve dined here several times and it’s aleays a great experience. On busy nights they tend to run out of wagyu steak so if you’re going to try that go early. Otherwise very nice upscale steak house.

We heard it was a good steakhouse in Tucson, so we decided to try it. However, it started with our party having a small table, then the uniforms the servers wear are far from appropriate or tasteful. Then, none of our steaks were cooked correctly.

Great birthday dinner for my husband. He had filet bone in and I had 8oz filet mignon. Cooked perfectly. Love the gorgonzola and garlic butter sauce. Yummy. Shaved Brussel sprouts were amazing. Everything was delicious.
They gave my husband a slice of his favorite key lime pie on the house. Complementary champagne was a beautiful touch. Wonderful meal.

The food at Sullivans never disappoints. We requested a quiet table or booth because we know the room can be noisy & someone in our party has trouble hearing. They were very accommodating & gave us a corner booth where we could converse. Shrimp appetizer was killer. Steaks & seafood cooked perfectly. Try the chocolate dessert.

The our server and food however were very good.

Repeat customer. Dependable, great steak and sides. Inventive cocktails and good happy hour & food in the bar. Dinner pre fixe is a good value for the 3 courses. Steak is always cooked to perfection. Shaved brussels sprout with bacon are delicious - doesn't seem like ones eating something rather healthy. Make sure you let them know whether you're celebrating (birthday, anniversary, etc) they comp one extra dessert.
