Waiter josh was excellent. Attendant help was there when needed and did jobs quickly and left
Four soups were excellent
Three steaks were perfect. One person said his filet was a little tough and grainy
Hostess greeted us with a birthday greeting when we arrived, when she sat us and when we left. But the waiter, Vladimir, never mentioned it. Also he did not serve my wife first, especially since it was her birthday. At each serving drinks, salad and entree and desert he served mine first. Otherwise he did a courteous job.
Arrived for our reservation to an empty host desk. Waited for 3-4 minutes for a very nice woman to seat us. She sat us and wished us happy anniversary. Our server approached and bumbled through his spiel, he was very awkward. He asked if we were celebrating, I would assume that the hostess gave him the chit that stated an anniversary. The server stopped by 3 times attempting to take our order. He really did not read us very well we were conversing and obviously not even looking at our menus. We ordered our starter the steak egg roll, it was tasty but a bit greasy. We both had the wedge, it was average. I had a 12oz strip and my wife had a 6oz filet both from the Prix Fixe menu and a side of Brussels sprouts. Our steaks arrived and we were instructed to cut into the center to make sure they were to our liking. My wife’s M was M+ to MW and my MR was MW. My wife elected to eat hers and I sent mine back. About 5 minutes after I sent for a recook we realized that we hadn’t received our Brussels sprouts, they arrived 1 minute later. The manager arrived and apologized for the overcook and I informed him about the sprouts and their tardiness. My steak arrived and was cooked MR. Both of our steaks were good. We requested for our desserts Togo. The cheesecake was average and the bananas foster bread pudding could have been excellent if it wasn’t for the under ripe Bananas baked into it. The check came and the server charged us for one of the dessert that came with the Prix Fixe menu. We paid with a gift card we received for Christmas and a credit card for overage and tip. The server came back and tossed the presenter back on our table and mumbled something unintelligible and walked away. We were very confused and looked in the check presenter and only saw the credit card but no slip to add tip and sign. He returned a few minutes later and took he check again. We think he needed a manager to run gift cards but why bring the presenter back?
The Tucson, AZ Sullivan’s Steakhouse is the best restaurant in the greater Tucson area. The manager and staff are both professional and welcoming. They treat each customer as a king or queen and very, very special. We are repeat customers because we are treated like both royalty and family at the same time. A very unique experience. We wish all our family and friends , plus the greater Tucson area could experience Sullivan’s Steakhouse like we have.
Dined on New Year's day evening. 6 guests. Of the 6, 3 we're unable to get what they ordered, 1 had to be offered different whiskey. Poor percentages. It was explained to us that New Year's Eve was very busy. Understood, however, perhaps it is better to tell when offering the evenings special, items not available. Better yet, don't open. Our server came to our table three separate times to tell us what we had ordered was not available, as did the bartender which brought along a glass of rye whiskey in place of the bourbon my husband had been drinking, as they had run out of the bourbon. (Bourbon and rye are two very different whiskey - the bartender should have know that). Additionally, food for some other table was brought to ours. We selected Sullivan's specifically for the service, which in past visits had been amazing and over the top. Frankly, it was embarrassing. It was an expensive embarrassing disappointment.
Our reservation was for 9:15 but we weren’t seated until 10. We got our starter course fairly quick. Our waiter came back after about 15 minutes of us finishing our starter asking if we had received our salads, which we hadn’t. We received our salads and that’s when our waiter went MIA. About 20 minutes later a runner came with our main course but couldn’t set them down because of our salad course not being cleared from the table. By then my girlfriend had had enough between us having to wait for our table and our waiter not attending to our table. He had our main course boxed along with our desserts and left the restaurant at 11:30pm. Overall after being seated it took nearly an hour and a half for us to receive our main course. If we would have stayed and finished our main course and dessert I’m sure we would have been waiting until 1am for our check. The food was great but for the price I would say ok. The overall service was below that of a fast food restaurant, table not being cleared between courses, drinks sitting empty nearly the entire hour and a half we were seated for examples. At the end of the day I would never consider coming back due to the simple lack of service one would expect for a upper mid level steak house. I would rather spend more and go to Fleming’s or less and go to Outback/Texas Roadhouse/other chain steak restaurant.

Busy night but good service and food. We enjoyed ringing in 2018 with a great meal.
Fish was horrible. First time almost raw! Second time, half raw! Changed to steak. Sides replaced by excellent waiter after two raw fish and waiting for steak. Bar great. Others in party had to wait 45min for my meal. Not sure will return. Maybe just to bar area
The only problem I had was that they took the big knife used to cut the bread, away when they took the bread dish away and did not replace it with a knife I could use on the Iceberg lettuce wedge I had for dinner. This was the waiter helpers. I had to use the fork to cut thru the ice berg lettuce wedge and almost lost the wedge when it slid off the plate.
