The kitchen must have had an off night as the food was extremely slow in coming. Also, i ordered my ribeye rare and it definitely came out as a med rare. Lastly, although our waiter was attempting to be attentive, his check in frequency was a tad annoying. A nice guy though.

Consistently great: great steaks, sides (shredded brussels sprout with bacon - amazing!), wine selection able to pair with courses, and just enough dessert offerings to find something we like. We really enjoy the 3-course prix fixe ("Sure Thing") so keep returning for that, as it's more than enough food for us.

We heard Sullivan’s was good, so we were surprised the restaurant was almost empty at 7:30pm on a Saturday. The bread was fabulous and the asparagus was cooked to perfection, but that was where the great dining began and ended. The lobster bisque was a bland tomato broth with two chunks of lobster. The potatoes augratin were fine, nothing to complain about. The NY strip was tough. Mine was cooked almost well done though it was supposed to be medium. My husband’s had to be cooked twice because it was burned the first time, then extremely rare (it was supposed to be medium rare). The third time it was still too rare, but he took most of it home. They did comp us his steak and did send an extra dessert home after we ordered two. The key lime pie was tasty, but the creme brûlée was partially frozen in the center, very cold throughout, and the top sugar was chewy. The cheesecake they sent home with us was fine, nothing special. For the money, I think we will stick with Fleming’s.

Overly loud groups were not addressed by management. Very slow service, management was doing some serving. Wait staff would go missing at times. For a $230 meal for two I would expect much better service and ambiance. We will not be dining with Sullivan’s again.

Went to Sullivan's Steakhouse to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Although it was a Tuesday evening, the restaurant partially filled but was a quiet and pleasant place to eat.

The menu is a bit pricey, as one should expect, but all food was prepared deliciously. We would recommend Sullivan's to any of our friends for any special occasion. The the drive to the NW location is long from the Eastside, but well worth it.

The staff was polite, friendly, professional and efficient; a true delight!

Nice atmospheres, wait staff was attentive, but not overbearing, natural friendliness. I’ve cut back on my meat intake for the simple reason that steak just didn’t taste as it did before. My taste for steak has been resericted by Sullivan’s steakhouse. It is, the best I have had in years, that includes texture, taste, presentation.

The food was very good, as expected, but the service was disappointing. Previous experiences there have been superb, but this one was anything but that. Although it was a very slow night, our waiter ignored our requests and seemed very disinterested in taking care of us. Not sure if we will return again.

We come here a few times per year and is usually excellent. Tonight’s experience was awful the moment we walked into the door. I was told by the staff that CJ the manager understaffed knowing that it was family weekend and the service was awful. Had to wait 20 mins for a glass of wine. Saw several customers yelling at the manager. How can one understaff knowing that it is the start of Family Weekend. The steaks were under cooked and had to send back our steaks. We also had 1 hour for our table even though we had a reservation. We give tonight’s experience 1/2 star at most.

It was family weekend, so I get they can get busy, but the need to figure it out. We had reservations at 8:00 only got seated at 8:45/9:00. We only got our meal at 9:45, and when the food arrived, it had to be sent back because the steaks were not cooked correctly. 3 years ago at family weekend we went to Sullivan. Had one of the worst experiences at a restaurant. We thought we would give it another try, but now we know to never go back.

The service was extremely slow - not sure if they were understaffed or not. Didn't seem like it as there were a lot of people milling around. Steaks did not come out as ordered but we didn't send them back because we would have been there longer than we already were. Food was mediocre. Not a place we would come back to or recommend.

We had aa lovely evening. Service was a little slow, but we didn't mind it because we were able to conduct a great conversation with our friends - a rarity in Tucson. Food as good or better than any other steakhouse in town.

We had a wonderful experience -- as usual -- at Sullivan's We were celebrating a birthday, and our marvelous server, Maureen, took our picture and gave it to us on a birthday card. We both had steaks which were seasoned very well and cooked to order. It's one of our favorite places in Tucson. We'll definitely be back soon.

Ordered my steak Pittsburgh style medium rare. It came to the table med well and was not Pittsburgh style.

The manager brought me my new steak (15 minutes later) presented and said here's your "black and blue" steak. I told him "I didn't want a blue (rare) steak I wanted med rare". He told me he didn't know what I ordered cause he only recently got involved. (I should also mention that the steak was severely underseasoned).

In the meantime, the bottle of wine that they opened to breath, sat on the table unpoured until the rest of my group was almost done eating. They wound up pouring the new Cabernet in the same glasses we had used to drink the first bottle of Pinot Noir.

Not a good experience - and the restaurant was practically empty.

We really enjoyed our 39th Anniversary Dinner (including two free desserts - Thank You!). The steaks were cooked as ordered, and we enjoyed the gratin potatoes and creamed corn. Nothing left to take home as we really had a lovely meal fit for two!

We had a party of 8 in one of the private dining rooms. The servers were attentive and the appetizers were very good. Everyone had steak, the medium rare steaks came out either medium or well - the medium steaks came out almost rare. The manager comped some of the steaks and this was the first bad meal that I've ever had at a Sullivan's, but considering we had our largest client out for dinner it was bad timing.

Our waiter, Cole, was so professional and courteous. We met friends whom we had not seen for several months and Cole was patient and kind, allowing us time to talk and take our time.
The food was fantastic as usual. Coke, after serving the steaks to the table, asked us to each cut into the steak to make sure the temperature requested was indeed what was delivered. We had never been asked that before!! How extraordinary and thoughtful. He wanted to make sure the good was exact to our desire. I love this place and will continue to patronize!! Thank you Cole!!!!

My wife and I were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary. The quality of the meal was top notch. We ordered from the pri fixe menu; a relative bargain. Rex was our waiter, and was personable and very attentive. They also sent us home with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our special occasion. Will definitely return.
