We went there for my wife's birthday. The wedge salad was one of the best I've ever had. The cowboy cut ribeye lived up to expectations. Our server was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Overall great experience.
Great food and the best waiter ever, food was amazing
Got there on time. Table was set for 2 instead of 3. They renumbered tables and kept bringing us another tables drinks, appetizers and other stuff. Food was good. Kind of high price for what you get. Not sure I would go back. Wild Garlic is better value.
We came here with our 3 year old daughter for Thanksgiving, mainly because we didn’t want to cook and do the cleanup. Angelo was our server and we was absolutely amazing. As you can imagine our 3 year old was a little trying- he handled all of our requests with grace and patience. The food was fantastic and unique, and the drinks were very tasty! Overall a great job by the crew working.
We had a great waitstaff and the food was excellent. We would definitely go back.
Very good food. Great staff. Patio was a great place to eat.
We didn’t want to cook on Thanksgiving so we booked a reservation at noon. My wife and I appreciate all the staff that worked on this holiday. Our table was ready and waiting, and the restaurant was approximately 1/3 full. Our waiter was Bob, and explained upfront that service might be slow due to all the carryout activity in the kitchen. True enough, our main course was very slow in coming out. We both ordered the turkey dinner. The food was warm; not hot. The gravy had no taste or richness, and the portions were somewhat disappointing compared to typical portions at Sullivans. We had our desserts boxed “to go”.
This was our first time to Sullivan’s. Great service from the moment we entered the restaurant. Decor is and ambiance our very nice - traditional. Food was exceptional with exception of the au gratin potatoes. They were okay but not as good as rest of the meal. Highly recommend this restaurant for a special dinner or night out.
Service and food was excellent!
Long time customer who has finally reached the breaking point. While our waiter tried his best, we had to return our entree twice. Management seemed not to care. Two of our last three dining experiences were unacceptable. Will never return.
We were so disappointed!! It was such a long wait from the time that we got our drinks at the bar to the time that we sat in our table to even start ordering appetizers and our dinner. We arrived at 6:20 pm and left at 8:40 pm . This long time that we stayed there was not because of us but because of the very slow and poor service. When the meal arrived, I can say for certainty that the New York steak was nothing more or better that any other steak house. It is very overpriced based on the food and the service. I will never return there.
Wonderful anniversary dinner dining experience! Our server, Steve, took exceptional care of us and was very attentive. We ordered the dry aged cowboy steak and a prix fix nicely charred filet mignon. Great specialty cocktails.
The service was outstanding and I can attest to the fact that these were the best scallops we have had in a long time!
Among our new favorite restaurants for a quiet evening out.
The new Spinach Salad was great.
We always do the filet and change up the side dishes.
The steak is always done to perfections.
We often share and the service is always courteous and relatively quick, considering COVID.
Low key but sophisticated ambience.
Worst restaurant experience in a long time. I get the restaurant business is decimated and tough right now, but at these prices ya gotta do better guys. I feel terrible for your management team- they must spend their lives constantly apologizing.
Took 20 minutes to get a first cocktail- no exaggeration. Since we sat in bar area we could see there was literally 1 bartender serving the entire restaurant- are you kidding? Where was the manager to jump in behind the bar. Literally 5-6 waiters standing in line for their tables drinks at any given moment.
Then my supposedly 12 oz NY Steak ordered med rare showed up masquerading as a 8 oz piece of shoe leather done med well. Sent it back and asked them for the same perfectly cooked NY on wife’s salad that was easily 2 oz larger than my shoe leather. Took 20 minutes to get the replacement at which point we are so ready to leave.
We get home and find they took the steak I sent back cut it up and put it on a salad!
Just to note management was very apologetic and credited my meal-still the meal came to over $100 for basically a salad and 3 drinks. Of course I tipped the poor server 20% out of pity because it must be tough to work here.
Omg- don’t even think about wasting your $$ here!
We enjoyed the unique cocktails and excellent service at Sullivan’s. Our waiter provided some great lunch recommendations since we were visiting from out of state. Both of our steaks were over cooked-my wife didn’t mind at all, but I appreciated the offer to have a other bone-in ribeye prepared for me.
I have dined at Sullivans 4 many years. The food as well as the service is always outstanding.
Excellent food, outstanding and great value!
It was our anniversary and everyone was very welcoming and acknowledged our day. The steaks we each ordered were very good. The service was a little off. Took 10 min for our waiter to stop by. We brought our own wine and it was a good 20 min before our first glass was poured.
We asked for a decanter and they brought one that wine had obviously dried out in. Plus it was warm with hot water still lining the inside. Not the best for a pricey bottle of wine. So we passed on decanting.
The waiter never poured a glass or kept them topped up. Usually in a steak house the staff makes sure the wine glasses are kept topped. Unusual for us.
Likewise, dishes sat uncollected at the table for what I thought was an usually long time.
Water ran out near the end and no one came by to refill it.
All in all the food was good and the goal was to celebrate our anniversary together so perhaps some of that was intentionally to leave use alone - which was the point!
Not extraordinary but average.
Sliders were not done still red inside and buns were hard, egg rolls were cold, seated outside and flies were surrounding is and our food
The restaurant was a lovely quiet place. The food was excellent and the service was very very good. We had a lovely perfect evening.
We had gone with another couple and it was the husband‘s birthday. We told the server that it was his birthday nothing was ever done for him. When I left I told the hostess about it she said oh would you like a dessert to go? My wife and I ordered two price fix meals. Very disappointed in the size of the steaksExtremely overpriced. We each had two drinks and could not get over the amount that we were charged for the two drinks we had. Overall very disappointed.
We were there for my birthday. Food, service, wine everything was great. We were treated like we were the most important people there that night.
Great food but even better service. It’s great to feel like you are appreciated.
The chef must have been new because my steak came out over cooked. My wife lamb was under cooked.
Overall, the food was not worth the price.
Service and wine was excellent.
Oh, the bread was excellent.
Excellent spot for a special occasion. Great steaks!
Great menu, great service, Great all around for a date or special occasion
Lovely restaurant with delicious food. The only reason I gave the food four stars instead of five is because they over salted my salmon by quite a bit
Food and service were excellent. Internet menu more extensive than in person. Lobster for instance. Wine prices are ridiculous. Selection not all that great to command those prices. I realize that overhead must be covered, but WOW! Food and side dishes are priced like Ruth Chris’s. Overall a good experience.
Yesterday evening Sullivan's was out of calamari and two or three other items on the menu. The main thing that our party was looking forward to was having the calamari, so that was disappointing. A number of other guests must love the calamari too if they ran out. Beyond being out of items, our food, drinks and the service were all top notch.
Had a great experience. Our server, Trystan, was so great, friendly and helpful. We had a really enjoyable dinner. Will definitely go back.
Well, when we arrived at the restaurant and was notified by the waitress that the restaurant was out of baked potatoes and scallops, etc, we decided to leave and eat dinner at PF Changs next door.
Fun environment and great "Knockout" martini. Au Gratin potatoes were under cooked and cubed. Side dishes need improvement. My steak was very salty but cooked perfect.
Disappointed! Restaurant was out of items on the menu. Poor plating. Over priced compared to other like restaurants. Will not be back!
As always, the food was amazing. My steak was perfect, the three Mac n Cheese was delicious. Our server Kevin was awesome. I can't say enough good things.
Nico was great!
Loved the decoration on the birthday table!
Great environment and service. Excellent food. Pricey.
