All staff were amazing!!! Food was great ambiance was great!
Outstanding all around. Great atmosphere, best wait staff in a long time, food was great, and the “Sure Thing” is an amazing deal! Will definitely go back!
They helped me pull out a surprise for my husband and it was perfect. The service was amazing and the food was delicious.
Very pleasant Sullivans location with good service. Steaks were just as ordered and very tender, and mushroom and creamed spinach sides were perfect. One of my two favorite national steak houses.
This is an EXCEPTIONAL team of people who care deeply about providing an exceptional guest experience. Highly recommend. Our server, John, was AMAZING!!
Food was terrific - service was not - Our server disappeared numerous times - we arrived at 6:00 and didn't leave until 8:30 - the restaurant wasn't busy at all as it was the Monday after Mother's Day. Other patrons were seated way after us and were finished way before us (they had a different server). I love Sullivan's and will definitely go back again
Sat on the patio for a late Mother's Day dinner. Weather was perfect but the meal was the best. Steaks cooked exactly as ordered. Mashed potatoes-Brussel sprouts-mushrooms...I enjoyed the leftovers next day as much as that night.
We went for Mother’s Day dinner and sat on the patio. Their service was prompt, formal and they also have us a Mother’s Day card with our picture at the end of the meal! How thoughtful !
The food was AMAZING!!!!! We went there for mother's day and it was awesome. Left completely stuffed.
Unfortunately, Sullivan's has changed ownership. Another corporate bought this... and this chain has gone down hill. We used to enjoy coming to this restaurant. But this experience was, overall, bad. The food was alright... but the service was awful. Our server was waiting on way too many tables and the evening was just not what we had experienced before. Too bad.. there are way too many restaurants to choose from in Palm Springs to put up with this... we won't be back. PERIOD.
Worst experience we can remember. Got our table, which was to close to the other table we had to have it moved before we could sit down. Orders round of drinks and a bottle of wine. Waited 20-25 mins and still no drinks. Asked for help from Hostess stand and they only offered to take our drink offer over again. Got up and went next door to Pacifica and had a great meal.
We went to Sullivans for a very special occasion this past weekend. It took 15 minutes to get a glass of wine. Ordered our crab cake and that came before the wine. Then my moms baked potato came out 20 minutes before our food. Our food took over an hour to get to the table. Ordered a ceasar salad and that didn't come and had to ask for it and the waiter said he forgot. Had to ask for more bread. Wine glass empty and had to ask for another one. We were at a round table and the wait staff was constantly coming to and from the kitchen with food or dirty plates bumping into my chair.
My family and parents used to come to Sullivans at least 5 times a year. The food quality and service is not the same. Very disappointing.
Firstly, Sullivan's claimed to open table I had not showed up - I certainly was there but offered to sit in the bar. Had two fantastic servers. My Wedge Salad was very good but maybe not quite as good as I remembered. I had the Ribeye which was barely average - not good enough in this price range.
I had the Sullivan's blend of red wine which was pretty good.
Golf trip with 4 buddies
Went for my bro in law's 60th birthday dinner, Food was great.. a bit noisy over all, but I'd go again anytime!!
We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and it was our first visit to this restaurant. The meal was superb and also the service. We both had the filet mignon that was cooked to perfection and the brussels sprouts and horse radish mashed potatoes were great. Our cocktails (Grey Goose martini’s) were perfect. We’ll be returning to try the Happy Hour.
Food was horrible. They must have fired the chef that morning. Waitress nice the manager had no clue RE customer service. I have been going there for many years and will not go back again.
Our food was very good. The waitress was friendly, although she did seem to disappear between completing dinner and serving dessert and again when it was time to pay the bill. She was very attentive when we were seated, ordering, delivering first and second courses.
Service was wonderful. I hadn’t been to Sullivan’s prior to this visit. We were celebrating a birthday and I was very pleased with everything.
Service by Richard was excellent and the library was a great quite place to enjoy ourselves
Every thing was off that evening, particularly timing. It started off great but went downhill. The most annoying part was there was a long delay in getting all the side dishes. Had we not delayed eating our steaks we would have been done before getting the sides. This was inexcusable.
Great food good service
We had a lovely time and Richard took very good care of us. Everything was just PERFECT! We will ask for Richard during our next visit.
The food is fantastic! The ambiance was perfect for a great date night with my husband. We had so many people helping us with our food and drinks and clearing our table. Our waitress was helpful in helping me make a selection from the menu. Overall it’s a great place.
The food was something I had never experienced before! Our steaks were cooked to perfection! I had the filet minion which was very tender and practically melted in my mouth! The calamari was delicious with a sweet and spicy taste! Our sides were the white cheddar potatoes au gratin and the 3 cheese macaroni: they were very generous helpings and the noodles tasted like they were homemade. Our salads were fresh, crisp, and a good size serving. We ordered dessert, the chocolate something (I can’t remember the name) but it was a chocolate bowl covering a brownie with raspberry sauce and chocolate mousse. The waitress poured warm chocolate ganache over and it was SO good! We were so full and very satisfied with our evening there! Looking forward to going again!
The food was delicious! We ordered way more than we could eat, but brought half of it home with us. It was my birthday, and from the time we walked in the door, we were treated like special guests. The hostess and our waitress were great. Our waitress was very attentive, without hovering. Both of us commented on what a great server she was. Overall, it was wonderful!
Always a great local steakhouse. Excellent crab legs also.
We loved our Brunch at Sullivan's on Easter Sunday. The food was superb and a great value for what we were served. Our waitperson was so friendly and experienced, making us feel right at home! I wouldn't hesitate to come again...we've been to Sullivan's for several years and always enjoy it! Thanks for making our holiday special!
Staff was pleasant, but disorganized. Food was mixed. Salads were uninspiring, but steak was above average. Desert was good as well. The only disappointment was the fact that the restaurant was less than 20% occupied when we arrived and it still took 1:45 for dinner for 4 people. If you wanted a refill on your iced tea, they would gladly get it for you, but it might take 10-15 minutes. Our waiter was very nice, but seemed like he was in over his head. Other tables had similar issues. Disorganization is easy to fix. The manager was prancing from table to table telling people he is visiting from out of town and not focusing on fixing the problems which are very easy to spot.
Our dinner was very good, as it usually is. It was a pleasure to meet the new manager, Randy, who stopped by our table to check on “things” - we look forward to dining there again next month when we return to the desert
Friends and I have dined at Sullivans many times but never had a horrible experience like the last. Very poor service by our waitress. Food was also overcooked after ordering medium rare. Meat arrived only warm not hot. I know it didn't leave the grill that way. It seemed like the waitress took a long break between every course. Management got the steaks redone but it still took the air what should have been a great night. Waitress still never changed.
Food was wonderful. Our server, Nicole was exceptional, as usual. She has been our server several times. One of our favorite places to dine.
all four steaks came out well undercooked and the bottle of wine (Year) that was listed on the wine list was not what they had on hand and served.
I’ve had two dinners out at Sullivan’s in the past month. Both have been enjoyable and excellent.
Glad we tried this place out. We will go back again and take our grown children.
Where shall I begin? Waiter was a smartass who tried to give us lessons on what wine to pair w our food. We’re 70 for gods sake. Maybe we know stuff too Mr waiter trainee. He informed us when we ordered there were no baked potatoes. OK fine. When we got our entrees our table was attacked by waiters with flashlights telling us to “cut into your steaks”!! When we did they shined their lights into our incisions asking “how’s that look? Done enough? We can take it back if you want. “ All these decisions and superfluous meat education was kind of nerve wracking and rude. My 16 oz ribeye was raw. Guess I got confused when the light saber guys were swarming. It was terrible. Second time in a row. Won’t be back. Don’t you think a “steakhouse “ should have baked potatoes?
First of all wanted 7:00 time and wasn’t available took 7:15 walked in and place was empty except for a large group of foul mouthed men who were loud, obnoxious and cussing with no regard for other people.
Initially they sat s directly next to the,we-asked to move thinking that we could then enjoy our dinner, only thing that happened was that they got louder! My husband asked the assistant manager to please close the doors to the room they were in .... he apologized for the noise and closed the door. Unfortunately he was not pro active and seemed a bit inexperienced.
Positive note was that our waiter who was relatively new was very nice and keen.
Our server seemed off or nervous maybe. It changed our experience completely. She wasn’t very knowledgeable about the menu, and much less, the wine list. There are many steakhouses to choose from in the desert and I would not recommend Sullivan’s over others based on this experience. What seemed to be a more experienced server, came to the rescue at one point. She was very pleasant, and as time went on, our server warmed up and relaxed a bit. Maybe we just hit a bad night.
Had a wonderful dinner celebrating my husband's 80th birthday. The food is wonderful and the service is fantastic. We were surprised and delighted when our waiter, Glauco, offered to take our picture and frame it at no charge in celebrating my husband's special occasion. Thank you Sullivan's Steakhouse for an unforgettable dinning experience.
Food was fabulous!! Service was excellent. No reason why we wouldn't go here again!!
I gave Sullivan’s a second chance but sorry to say it didn’t come through quality wise. The staff was excellent and attentive. The shrimp appetizer were tasteless and rubbery. The Caesar salad was under loaded with cheese and dressing. The steak was way over seasoned. I can usually tolerate salt, but the steak was so salty, I had to cut the top, bottom and edges off and eat the less salty middle. Not going back
Celebrating birthdays at Sullivan’s is always special! Sullivan’s makes it a true event. Rose petals, cards with pictures of the party, special desert service ....all above and beyond other venues without the cheesy song fest! All of this and the best meat, wonderful wedge salad, spectacular creamed spinach and the stellar KNOCKOUT MARTINI....A W E S O M E.
