We had not been here for many years, but in all honesty, it was not as great as I recalled. We did the prix fixe menu. The filet was just okay. Bread for the table was not brought out until just before dessert. Water was refilled every 5-7 minutes which was annoying. Will probably go elsewhere for steak next time around. Also, website says valet is $7 but it was $10.

Absolutely THE best steaks you can get around the area. (Our table shared a filet and an 18oz wagyu strip, cajun butter in the side) Great food, excellent service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Oh! Make sure you try the banana fosters bread pudding and a coffee to end the evening. Thank you for a wonderful night! Cheers!

Not the best choice for Lunch. Service extremely slow and menu lwas limited. Pricing not competitive to other choices in downtown Naperville. We have enjoyed this restaurant many times for dinner but first time for lunch. I would avoid for Lunch.

Booked the table over a month ago and arrived early. Seems they gave our table away and took awhile to be seated even thought it was not busy. Given a small table even though we had a larger table booked so we can order lots of food to share. Multiple errors on food coming to the table. Have had many meetings and dinners here and this time was very disappointing to the family as we were celebrating a graduation

Our Mothers Day experience left much to be improved. The food was terrific - as always. The service was not up to their normal standards. Recognizing we were at the end of a busy day (8 p.m. reservation) - they dropped the ball so many times. At the hostess stand, the staff did not recognize any of the customers arriving and ask about reservations - all three of them were too focused on the iPad seating chart and apparently concerned about having available tables. It was definitely not the way a service business should operate. Of course once we walked through the dining area there were a handful of empty tables so I am not sure what the problem was. Food menus had been put on the table, but no coctail/wine menu. Once seated our server did not realize we were his assigned table so nothing was done - for a long time - no greeting, no drink orders, nothing. The busboy did bring water and bread. Still no one said boo. Lots of wait staff and managers walking by - nothing. Finally, a waiter said that we were not his table and noticed we had been seated for a long time so he said he could get us started while figuring out who was responsible for our table. He explained the menu options, cocktail recommendations and starters. He was great!! But then it was back to poor service. Even after apologizing for not getting to us, our waiter was slow to take orders, never asked about whether a second glass of wine was desired, overall just not the usual level of service. In addition, there was silverware on the floor from an empty table - no one (waiters, busboys, manager) picked it up, just walked over it. On Mothers Day, there were roses given to most of the mothers but I am not sure what the criteria was to receive one - we certainly did not. Given the food is always terrific, it is worth another shot. If we were a first time customer I would not return. Yesterday's experience was just not up to their ususal.

Definitely gone down. Hostess staff was unfriendly. We were sat next to the kitchen so had to hear banging plates. Both of our salmon orders were over cooked. They did bring us new portions which tasted salty. If I was the manager I would have at least offered free desserts. Probably won’t be back. Too bad, we used to love Sullivans.

Sullivan's steaks (the filet in particular) can't be beat. The Tuna steak is also excellent and HUGE. They are always done to the correct temperature so the chefs seem to really care about that. The sides are always very very good; I especially love their mushrooms and spinach but the potatoes are also huge and perfectly cooked. The pork belly and Shanghai calamari are particular appetizer faves!! The lighting is very nice and the ambiance is very comfortable. I love the Tito's martini with blue cheese olives that are hand stuffed and not from a jar! The lounge is very comfortable and the wait staff are always very attentive. Highly recommend Sullivan's for a great night out! Hope this helps.

Our dining experience was very pleasant, especially because of the anniversary congrats we received. Colin, our waiter, was very attentive. We began our meal with a delicious knockout martini. The food was very good, especially the salmon and Brussels sprouts. Only complaint, we ate with our coats on because the AC was too high. We’ll be back.

Very disappointed today. We’ve been long time Sullivan’s fans but today was not a good experience. Restaurant was so cold I had to eat with my coat on as did other customers around us. Server was pleasant but apparently short-staffing caused slower than usual service. I understand it’s Mother’s Day so I was giving grace to a point, but staff should be accommodate for reservations.

Though several people had reservations, there was a bit of a wait time. When staff was asked how long the wait would be, they advised that they were not able to give a time, but that they were waiting on tables. Another party was waiting for about 20 minutes. My wait was about 15 minutes. When seated, my glasses were immediately filled with water, and given bread. My waiter was Zachary who’s absolutely phenomenal. The food was pretty great. And having Zach as a waiter made up for the wait time. I would recommend, but be prepared to wait even if you have reservations.

We went to celebrate our anniversary and I had noted that in the reservation. When we arrived they had a fantastic table for us, rose petals on the table, and a charming card. They helped us celebrate and our sever was knowledgeable and friendly. They paced the dinner nicely so we could linger after each course. Food was perfect!

Sullivan was a good experience. Getting into Naperville and parking was a nightmare. We live in Naperville in close proximity…took us more than 40 minutes. Avoid downtown Naperville or go at off times.

Great service. Enjoyed steaks and crab cakes dinners. Oscar style added treat. All ala carte so be prepared. With just one alcoholic beverage over $300 with salads and potato and asparagus sides. Plus dessert and coffee. I go back anytime I can. Feel like no one will be disappointed and many options.

Worst steakhouse experience I’ve ever had! We were not greeted for 10 min. Eventually someone came to bring us bread. We were sat at a table with no plates so when the bread came we were like “what do we eat on?” Server finally came over and took our drink order. Two cocktails and a soft drink. Cocktails came and my soft drink was forgotten. Apps were ordered and came out quickly. We ordered the Wellington bites that were mediocre, then again, we didn’t get to eat them hot due to not having plates! I ordered the lobster bisque and it came out VERY dark looking. The taste was burnt. Flour in the bisque was burnt and when I told the server, she said “oh it’s like that”. Didn’t offer a replacement or substitution. Entrees came out and we’re ok. I ordered the wagyu steak and honestly was the most disappointing of the whole meal. This was the toughest steak I’ve ever had and for their “best” cut steak it was horrible!!!! Service was slow, even for a steakhouse. For $350 I’ve had better service at chilis.

I will NEVER, EVER patronize Sullivan's Steakhouse again. I made the reservation to take advantage of my OpenTable account, but I was hosted by a family member to celebrate my birthday. The food and service was good, just nothing special. The tab was $248, and my host added a $50 tip, or a 20% gratuity. As I was picking up my party in my car, to my severe horror and embarrassment, I witnessed the server follow my host out of the restaurant questioning the amount of the tip left, and he barraged my host with questions about the quality of food and service. I have never had such an experience patronizing what is considered a high-end restaurant with such abominable and discourteous behavior. Trust me that I will tell all my friends and acquaintances about this deplorable behavior. I have never been so embarrassed. Good riddance Sullivan's! I'll be taking my "high end" dinner reservations elsewhere from now on.

One person requested a med rare steak and it was between medium and well done. Mashed potatoes were dry and had limited taste. The manager did comp this meal after looking at the stake. The shrimp lobster soup was not as good as we had hoped, as it was spicy but limited shrimp lobster taste. The three of us felt the dining experience as not what we had experienced in the past.

I was expecting a good dining experience for our anniversary. My biggest issue was the porterhouse steak I ordered. It was so fatty I could only eat a third of it. I expected so much more from this restaurant. I told the waitress but nothing was done about it. I paid a lot of money for such a disappointing experience.
