Everything was great! Nicole was awesome too!
Everything was good. The steak was just a little over salted for my liking, but cooked to perfection. The meat was flavorful and tender.
It was delicious and pleasant!
Team dinner and it was fantastic!
My wife’s birthday
Great experience and service! Food was amazing as usual!
Ambience was great but noise level in dining area is a bit noisy
The ambiance, the service and the food was outstanding!! Your prices however, are OUTRAGEOUS!! I think the worst part of your entrees is that you are not only OVER PRICED but you don't even include a $2.00 salad or a $1.00 baked potato. SERIOUSLY.....that is a bit over the top. Prices like yours is equivalent to Maui, not downtown Naperville. With that said, the experience was lovely, but your prices are not. Sincerely, Terri J. Lyskawa
Great food & service!
We had a great experience & a fabulous evening! Larry was the best server ever! He was funny & service was great! Thanks for a super evening!
We went to Sullivan’s last night for date night. I made the reservation on open table for 8PM (I know this because I screenshot the confirmation and sent to my date) and when we arrived they said they had be down for 8:30. Whatever. We waited until we got seated and they seated us (young, late 20-somethings) in this back room that was not the ambiance and experience you deserve when ordering an $80 steak. The room was drafty and cold because it’s clearly an addition to the building and even the other couple who was seated out there said to us and the hostess (thank god there are others who they seated out here this is weird). When our waiter came, I expressed we wanted a table in the main dining area, he checked on that, came back and put us in a nice booth in the main dining room, which is a night and day experience as far as ambiance and comfort is concerned. Our meal was amazing. The oysters 10/10. We ordered the Dirty Bird Martini and the Rosemary Old Fashion and they were great. Our waitress was super sweet. We were just turned off the way everything started. My advice would be don’t use that side room for your guests. They deserve better than that.
Always an excellent experience at Sullivan’s. It never disappoints from the cocktails, appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts, it always appeases to all guests. Service is always excellent as well. That is the best part of dining at Sullivan’s.
Wine and dine my wife to go fishing
Steak was a little over cooked for medium plus it tasted more like medium well, thus didn’t really have the flavor . And it took a long time for the steaks to come out.
We where there for New Year's eve. The pre fix menu was reasonable and delicious and the ambiance was great. Our server Wally was wonderful...
Steak was actually better ordered as on the menu - a couple of years ago, the server talked us into bone-in and a topping (big up-charge) that was a disappointment. Didn’t do that this time. They ran out of shrimp cocktail as an appetizer. Also, I specifically informed the waiter that we were leaving the table for a few minutes...my coat was still there along with bag of leftover food...please don’t clear the table, which included coffee and wine, also champagne glasses for midnight toast. Returned to a table set for new customers. The items were replaced, but the champagne showed up in wine glasses. Not what I expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
Great food and atmosphere
Wow! New Year's Eve dining at Sullivan's was exceptional. The number of choices available for each of the 5 course options was the best we have ever seen for a speciality night. They even allowed for their incredible Oyster Rockefeller dish to be served. The evening was filled with slightly louder than usual music that energized the large crowd. The dinner choices were featured for $85 per person, and truly was an very good value given the top of the line selections offered. Nice job servers and managers for a great evening.
It was Birthday n the meal was awesome. Our waiter Wally was superb!!
My partner and I enjoyed a 8:00p pre fixe dinner on NYE. The staff greeted us quickly for our reservation and asked us to wait a few minutes. Know how diners linger on special occasions, I was not surprised having to wait nor surprised by the crowd in the bar waiting to get a beverage. Once seated, Cynthia did an excellent job servicing our table assisted by others on the staff. For the amount and quality of food, the price was appropriate. We enjoyed our evening immensely.
I made a reservation several weeks prior and was never advised a set menu would be in place on 12/31/19. For some a four course meal is fabulous but my husband and I were not interested in a four course meal. I would have preferred for someone a Sullivan’s to advise a set menu would be in place in order for us to decide if Sullivan’s was a good choice.
Server was attentive. Everything was cooked properly including our steaks. Very enjoyable evening.
Food was good and the service was great! Nice locations in DT Naperville, parking was hard to find during the week around lunchtime. No valet
The fumes from the kitchen grill were overwhelming. We left smelling like our dinner. The food was great and the service even better - but the challenges with the kitchen fumes really impacted the night. This is not a normal occurrence - we have never experienced this before. I hope the problem is fixed before we return.
A great place for a family holiday dinner. Our waiter, Abraham, was fantastic. He interacted professionally and with a level of humor that played well with our group.
A few of the drink specials were unavailable which was disappointing but the good news is the replacement drinks were amazing - so no harm done!
Appetizers of cheesesteak egg roll, calamari, and oysters - enjoyed by all. The bisque could use more lobster but otherwise really tasty. Steaks were prepared perfectly and very flavorful. The side of mushrooms is an absolute must for the fungi lover. Brussel sprouts were meh as they were a tad under done. Out of baked potatoes so had the mashed instead. Heavy on the horseradish which many liked.
The chocolate meltdown is a super cool presentation that was also delicious. Key lime pie was very lime-y and tasty. Just know it has the consistency of flan - of which I’m not a fan. Cheesecake was the bomb.
Then the bill came. :(
With good food comes great financial responsibility - be prepared - but enjoy as we did!!
Excellent food and excellent service. I had a ribeye steak that was perfectly cooked to a medium rare temperature. The meal comes with a warm loaf of very good bread. My wife had a pork chop and she said that it was very good also.
Fabulous meal and impeccable service!
Was a great experience. Staff was friendly and food was great.
It was for my Dads 78th Bday. Sullivan’s is his favorite restaurant. It was excellent. Wedge salad, horseradish mashed potatoes and the filet was incredible
First time to this restaurant, it seemed ok but I would avoid going on Christmas. Perhaps I will give it another try. Initially the salad was not what we ordered and the waitress got a bit defensive which surprised the group. They ran out of sea bass from the menu. Also ran out of baked potatoes for the steaks. The one good thing is that the food was tasty.
Christmas Dinner was fantastic. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly, food was delicious.
We made our reservation months in advance for Christmas! When we arrived we were seated in an overflow room behind the bar! This should have been for walk ins. Very disappointed, not what I wanted, I made this reservation as a special meal for the holiday. Felt more like a business lunch in my conference room at work. Not to mention we were pouring our own wine and waiting on water refills....never again!
Didn’t seat in the normal dining room but annex and our table was next to Hester.
Amanda our server, was a breath of fresh air. Was extremely pleasant and attentive to our needs. Considering it was Christmas Day, I was surprised by the quality of the food and the service. Hats off to Sullivan’s management.
The lobster tail was a little overcooked and our server seemed a little off her game but great meal overall for sure
Overall, Sullivan’s is fantastic. My disappointment is their unwillingness to accommodate a food allergy. The $65 surf and turf came with mashed potatoes which I cannot eat due to lactose intolerance. They would not substitute them with a plain baked potato unless we paid an additional $9. Really?
Food was great but main entree came way too late.
