Disappointing meal this time. My steak was way over cooked (I ordered it very Rare, it wasn't even Medium.) Yes, I could have sent it back, but then I would have been eating by myself after the other were finished, or they would have had to wait and eat theirs cold. As it was, my potatoes were cold so perhaps our meals sat for a while. The meat was very tough, probably because it was over cooked. If I return, I won't order steak again.
The calamari was very good. The wedge salad was OK, but not great.
Our water was never refilled, we weren't offered refills on drinks. They were busy, and the wait staff was constantly running, but apparently they were under staffed for the night.
Not sure I will return. There are many other places that are better food and a better value.
We went for our anniversary and were treated like royalty!
Prix Fixe menu for NYE was fabulous! Crab cake was good - all crab and no fillers. Jumbo shrimp cocktail was delish. Filet mignon was perfectly cooked medium rare and seasoned perfectly. NY strip was equally as good. Asparagus and roasted cauliflower sides were well done. Desserts of cheesecake and bread pudding were a perfect finale. Very good value at $75 - plenty of food and big portions. Service was great too.
Great restaurant! Best meal ever. Meat was perfectly seared & tender. All food excellent. Service, staff, atmosphere wonderful. A very well managed restaurant. Every customer is always #1.
Went before a play. Everything was wonderful.
It was beyond our expectations. We had a very enjoyable time.
Consistently excellent oysters, lobster bisque, steaks Oscar style, bacon Brussel sprouts, garlic and mashed potatoes.
Returned after 2-3 years, the menu still the same-heavy on steak (it is a steak house) but the sea bass still with bok choy. Tasty salad and au gratin potatoes but everything is “a la carte” and pricey, unless you choose the “prix fixe” menu which is steak or salmon. The waitress was effusive until no one ordered drinks and 3/4 ordered “prix fixe” meals. Prolly won’t choose Sullivan’s again.
The service was absolutely terrible. Had to get up multiple times to ask the waitress for drink refills. Bread didn’t come until we were halfway done. Steaks were over cooked. Ambiance is dull.
We come here regularly enough that we have our favorite wait staff members. On Christmas Eve, we got a new lady.
She was fine, but there was some disconnect in putting in our order resulting in a kitchen misfire. The SA immediately got the manager involved and he went above and beyond to make things right for us.
This was our first "bad" experience at this location, and they did a fine job in turning into a "good" one.
