Sullivan's Steakhouse - King of Prussia Ratings and Reviews
Horrible service, had to find server after waiting 15 minutes just sitting there (hostess failed to tell server we were seated?) and then he was not attentive at all. Had to send lettuce wedge back as the core was not cut out and was covered in dressing. Filet was very small and outside burnt to crisp, ordered MR. Reason for dinner was birthday as noted on reservation but no candle or well wishes with dessert. Manager did comp bottle of wine but the entire meal was a big disappointment and expensive for what was received.
food was delicious but atmosphere was disappointing. It was a busy Saturday night and we were there for my husband's 58th birthday. Unfortunately we were seated not only next to the noisy kitchen but then also next to a large party with 6 toddlers under 18 months old that were quite cute but quite noisy. I would ask to be seated in adjacent dining room that looked to be much calmer. Quite expensive meal to have those conditions in my opinion...probably will not return.
The food was absolutely amazing, I definitely recommend the cheese steak egg rolls as an appetizer. My filet was cooked perfectly as asked and the Mac and cheese was amazing. The server (Ryan) was very attentive, helpful, and delightful. I would recommend Sullivan’s to all of my friends.
Sullivan's did a great job on New Year's Eve. They had a 4 course price fixe menu with a good variety of options and upgrades. We were seated at our reserved time, service was excellent and the meals were prepared perfectly. We never felt rushed and enjoyed a very pleasant dinner.
The customer service here was exceptional! The staff welcomed us at the door and along the way to our table. Everyone was very inviting. We came to visit the restaurant on New Year's Eve for the first time. We had the shrimp cocktail, crab cake, filet mignon, mashed potatoes and cheesecake. It was a fixed menu for New Year's Eve. The crab cake was great and so was the filet mignon. My only concern was the mashed potatoes which were dry. They perhaps needed more butter. The warm bread was to die for and the dessert was yummy. I would recommend to a friend.
The staff was friendly and there was valet parking. The restaurant was cozy and warm with Sinatra and jazz playing softly in the background. There were 2 musicians playing in the bar area but we only caught a glimpse of their amazing talents on our way out. Our waitress had the greatest personality and the food was perfect. Best date night ever!
Our waiter was wonderful. Food was excellent although the side came out after the steak. Front desk was slow even though we were the second table of the evening. We were seated at a so-so table even with reservations and had to wait for them to set it. We asked to move to a booth and got a bit of attitude.
We initially had a server who was very polished and experienced. We were then handed over to another server who was obviously new. We were here for a Christmas Eve dinner which ended up being highly disappointing. This new server, tho pleasant, obviously did not know what to do. Improper presentation of our wine, fumbled/dropped the wine key (OK things happen) then promptly lost the towel “draped” over his arm. We had empty cocktail glasses on the table that were not removed, then had appetizers, and those plates were also not removed. I finally moved them to the empy space beside me and they were STILL ignored. We received our salads and the offer of freshly ground pepper? Well, didn’t happen, we waited for about 5 minutes when I finally snagged our first waiter who prompty brought it out, added it to our salads and topped off our wine. This is not the experiece I expect from Sullivan’s particualry at the prices. It will be quite a while till I go back…..
We have been there before & had good experiences so we decided to go back to celebrate the holidays.
Service was poor.
Food was ok. Wrong steak given to one party, others not done properly as requested.
Wait staff disorganized & not working together.
We will not be back.
I have been going for years and it started out absolutely the best steak house in King Of Prussia.
The problem is every once in a while and my last visit was just a bit under what we expected.
I ordered the King Crab Claws and I had one smallish crab claw served to me. I am glad we ordered an appetizer and a split a wedge. I was disappointed and our side were served cold.
The mashed were cold and dry like leftovers and the sprouts were cold also but we ate the cold veggie not to wait for a repeat and have them with our meal...I mean my one claw.
I love the place and it has been redone. It is a bit wood cabinish instead of elegant but it is
a steak house vibe. Just a bit more cabin road house vibe with all the dark wood. I know this happens and I won't stop loving it but you can't fix what you don't know. Love the knockout martini and the steaks are always yummy and tender. Enjoy!
We went for our office Christmas lunch. The food was delicious. We all had steaks and they were seared and cooked perfectly. Salads were great. Deserts were fabulous. I've been here quite a few times and I was very surprised to see how empty it was during Christmas week.
I was also disappointed to hear they still have not reinstated their Sunday happy hour which always packed the house. It seems like a bad decision in light of all of the new restaurants that have opened recently in the area.
