Ahi Tuna Steak*
Cajun Spice Seared, Pickled Ginger, Cucumber
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Every portion of the meal came out over cooked, so the calamari was like rubber bands & completely inedible, we sent it back & a new order was sent out, not as bad, but still over cooked. Each steak was over done, the medium rare came out medium, the medium came out well…the salmon was also over done & dry. Completely unacceptable for the prices charged..not going back
We have gone to Sullivan’s many times to celebrate special occasions. Last night our table was lovely, but the specialness ended there. I think they were understaffed and not ready for prime time. To me Sullivan’s has always been upscale with waitresses wearing short skirts and fishnets. Last night, the attire of the waitstaff was common! James, our waiter was terrific without support. Hope they can get their act together!!
Always enjoyed Sullivan’s in KOP, until last evening. Seems as thought there is a new Management Staff and Chefs. Food was extremely salty (Steaks and side dishes) almost to the where it was not palatable. Manager walked around only catering to the folks he “Knew”? I’ll leave this right here. We won’t be back.
Bar service was terrible. We were 2 of 3 people at the bar and the bartender ignored us until I finally asked for a drink menu. Then overcharged us.
Restaurant waiter was atrocious. Didn't ask for drink order and then when we initiated he never brought drinks. Didn't explain menu so we didn't order enough food. My entre came with mashed potatoes. They were cold. Steak and salad were very good. Restaurant was about half full.
The service was probably the worst I've seen ANYPLACE. Not what I expected from Sullivans.
The staff was not trained and not supervised.
We were out celebrating my husband’s birthday. The service and food were excellent! Shay was wonderful……Would definitely dine here again!
As always the meals and service was excellent!
Had a wonderful evening thank you!
Food was very salty; they were out of a lot of things.
The air conditioner was broken in the main dining room. It was uncomfortably hot. I felt bad for our server who was trying her best but clearly fatigued and hot especially while wearing a mask and her uniform of all black with long pants. It was my husbands 50th birthday and I would have appreciated notice about the air conditioner. The table next to us was very close and the gentlemen were talking really loud. We were charged for an espresso we never got but I just wanted to leave quickly because I was so hot and did not point it out. The food was excellent as always
Right from the start my friend and I walked in while our husbands parked. Twice I gave my name expecting to be seated but I got literally no response from the host. None. No recognition. No we will seat you when your full party is here. When the men arrived he got our menus and seated us.
There was lots of AC in the bar and front reception but none in the dining room. It’s was dreadful. How does that even happen? You would think they would offer a cocktail on them for the unpleasantness. I wish they had called to say they were not able to provide AC did we still want to come. It was 90 degrees outside.
Food was good as you would expect for the prices. Three of us took the Sure thing while our fourth chose shrimp cocktail and steak salad. Our server was nice but not around much.
This was a special occasion so we were not willing to make any kind of fuss. Highly unlikely to return.
Great service and great food!!
15 minute for table
30 minute wait for drinks
Server Rarely checked on us.
Unfriendly greeting when we arrived. Food cooked not to order.
Kitchen was extremely slow. Waiter never took drink orders and one side dish was wrong. Food was good but was really slow in coming out.
Our order for 1 of the people was not correct , we accepted the wrong order rather than wait for them to cook another entree. We had to send it back because it was too rare and broccoli was close to raw. The problem seemed to be the kitchen not the waiter. It was a Thursday night and not that crowded.
Something seemed to slide a bit in quality and service. They were out of the dry aged bone in ribeye so I went with a Wagyu 2 8oz filet and shrimp special and it was very underwhelming to say the least. This was not up to par by any measure to Wagyu I've had elsewhere before. Quite frankly the sauces made it tolerable but it was not very good at all despite being cooked to the perfect medium-rare temperature. The sides were good. The creamed spinach is excellent. The lobster mac and cheese is good but the lobster is on the short side. The service was not good at all. The server was nice but clearly had a rough evening. She didn't bring serving utensils for the sides and took forever to even keep water filled. We kept having to get her attention. Overall it really wasn't a good dining experience at all. I'm rating the visit higher than I probably should because I've had good dining experience with this restaurant in the past with takeout and dine-in experiences. I really don't know how it was so disappointing this time but next time I'll probably go to Davio's, Morton's, or Ruth's Chris instead and give it a few months to see if things improve.
Nice and very welcoming
Server was excellent. My steak wasn’t as seasoned as I hoped. The cajun butter fixed that. Everything else was perfect.
Excellent Anniversary dinner, excellent food, ambiance and service from our waiter, Shy. The ribeye was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. Our table was decorated with rose petals for our Anniversary. Shy ( our waiter) surprised us with key lime pie for dessert in honor of our Anniversary. An excellent meal from start to finish
Sullivan's used to be THE PLACE for a great steak. Not only has their quality gone down but they have some intense competition within a 1 mile radius with Eddie V's, Capital Grill, Davios and more. Guess there's a reason why I couldn't get a reservation at Capital and there were only a handful of people at Sullivan's...
I was there for my birthday with my husband and son. Both of our steaks were overcooked as well as son's cheeseburger, which was charred. We got our filet's Oscar style. My husband counted 5 pieces of crab meet, I think I had 4. The ambience was very nice, and our waiter was amazing but I don't think I will be going back anytime soon. We normally go to the Capital Grille or Morton's, which I think we will be sticking with.
A gift card prompted our visit to Sullivan’s. The quality of food was good. The overall experience and service was very poor. I am well aware that restaurants are struggling to find good help so we went into the evening with low expectations.
Great meal. Steaks and service were outstanding!
We had a reservation and were seating at the first table by the kitchen and the restaurant was empty. Asked to be reseated. Service wasn’t great - had to ask for water to be refilled abs poured our own wine top ups. Steaks were inconsistent- over or undercooked. Bernaise sauce was green! Sides were barely warm. Indicated it was a birthday celebration in the reservation for two people and it wasn’t acknowledged. Overall poor dining experience and will take my money elsewhere.
Selected Sullivan's for our anniversary dinner, and we weren't overly impressed. The food was good, but for the price, it should have been exceptional. Service was fine, but not very friendly and very rushed even though the restaurant wasn't busy.
Our waiter Jack was awesome, made our experience an even better one!!
very good as usual. Always a good time as Sullivans
We celebrated our 11 year anniversary dinner with Sullivan’s and it was great !!!
Great service and food. Thank you Shyheem!
Had very nice experience as always when I dine at Sullivan’s Steakhouse! The cheesesteak egg rolls are the greatest!
At least right now, it did not live up to the hype. We've been looking forward to coming here for years after doing all of the other high-end steak house restaurants in King of Prussia.
Perhaps we can give them a pass because maybe they are not back to full staff after the pandemic, but then if you're going to pay these prices then you should also expect the same level of service as well as inventory of food.
We ordered the oysters on the half shell and they were opened but not fully shucked so we had to dig them out ourselves. We also were not given the proper silverware to initially do the job and had to ask for them after the fact. Not a big deal but it started a trend that we would continue to see throughout the experience. The $45 bottle of wine included with the prefix menu was no longer in stock and we were told that they need to take it down from the website because it's sold out. Again. Seems like they're trying to run before they have the staff in place to walk.
The stakes were overcooked and the side dish of asparagus was barely existent. They were overcooked and bleached of all color. The wine was flat and stale and tasted as if it's been sitting in an open bottle for quite some time.
The desserts were not fresh and we're also missing some of the ingredients mentioned on the menu. We understand that we tried the prefix menu and perhaps that was our downfall. Because perhaps if we would have gotten all the items fully a la carte we would have received better and a more robust food experience. However, if you're going to offer it then you should have the same level of experience for all items on the menu.
Again, perhaps things will get better once the restaurant can have more staff and more of an inventory in the months ahead, but for now, we will be moving on and heading to the other high-end steakhouse restaurants in this area and likely not returning to Sullivan's.
I had stated it was our anniversary on the reservation. Usually we have gotten special service for our anniversary. We get free dessert and also they set up a table with rose petals etc... that did not happen. I requested a round booth, we did not get that. Because I didn’t want my husband to be upset with me for complaining, I said nothing about it. Then we requested a substitution for my daughter’s meal because of her dietary restriction and they made a mistake and included the item she can’t eat in the plate. I also asked for a medium rare steak and did not get this but a medium steak, my daughters medium was more rare than my medium rare... again, I did not complain about the temperature of my steak because my family was already upset at me for being disappointed about their mistakes. It is just not special to go to Sullivan’s anymore.
We got there early. The host seemed as if he saw people with three heads. We finally sat down at a high top and waited 15 min. No one even came over to ask if we wanted water let alone a drink or food. The server passed by three times and said she would be bk in a min. After another 5 min. We got up and left. We will never return. This is the second time. We had terrible service last time we were there about two months ago. Waited an hour for food and the chicken came raw. It was so awful. The meal was comped.
food was not seasoned well at all and the set up was not done properly but overall experience was not bad
Wonderful food and service as always!
Amazing food and Kya so was so sweet
A little disappointed. Steaks were served without steak knives. One steak was almost cold. The other was extremely well done when it was ordered medium.
Calamri app was very good as was the crab cake. Overall it wasnt as good as it use to be. They seem to be cutting corners and portions.
Very expensive but also very delicious. Top notch service and food.
When we first walked in there was a smell that was strong and not good. Just to be clear I have eaten at Sullivan’s at least 10 times and this will be the last
The bar tender was bad. Did not pay attention to us even through we where the only people in the bar
Our server was also not good! They forgot to bring our sides out. The bread was cold in the middle. We order oysters, , they did not have small forks or they just did not bring them!
They ran out of strip steaks and broccoli!
So overall, go anywhere else!!!
Their service is the worst one so far. We sat there for 20 minutes and nobody showed up. It was special day for us and they ruined it. You don’t get to ruin people’s day specially when i am paying for the service. Their food is average I’d say. The steak was good but we asked for medium well they gave us a medium rare steak. So ate the steak from the corners. I've been to other high end steak places. But this is so far the worst one.
