I have eaten at Sullivan’s many times pre Covid. This time it was inexcusable. Waiter was very pleasant but was forgetful and sporadic with bringing different portions of dinner. No steak knife, potato’s snd vegetables excessively salty. Gorgonzola sauce tiny and didn’t recognize it from pre Covid. Dessert was the only thing that was good. Ordered coffee delivered after bill was paid. None of us will return. It was a birthday celebration for 2 of us. Very disappointed. Quality, food, service was mediocre at best. Disgrace for the money What happened to one of my favorite places? I won’t be back. Too expensive for a horrible very disappointing meal.
Service was great. Our waiter Thomas was very pleasant ! I wish we had more bread it was sooooo good lol but yes very pleased with the Mother’s Day vibe that was going on
Food was great, and Jack our waiter was great as well..
Felt rushed, also several things we ordered were no longer available due to their kitchen closing at 10p. Steak was phenomenal, asparagus was not cooked at all, broccoli wasn’t steamed the least bit either. Server was as attentive as possible. Overall could have been way better for the price.
I was very disappointed in my filet. The past few times we've been there we could
see a difference in the quality.
My daughter took her best friend there first her birthday. I’m assuming the waitress thought the girls couldn’t afford to eat there bc she asked them if they were “just eating soup for dinner?” She shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover! They can both afford to eat there WITHOUT the help from anyone!!

Server Jack is why we go there. And we’re not alone. We overhear “really good guy” every time. People live this guy Jack. So do we. Food is fine. Atmosphere is fine. Value is ok. Service is superb.
They didn’t have any more oysters besides that everything else was great

Don't waste your time!!!!! manager was rude. Food was ok expected so much more from a well known steakhouse. our server was fantastic!!!
We were very disappointed with Sullivan’s. The manager and wait staff were so mechanical it was unreal. eg: hi do you want water, drinks, are you ready to order then walks away. No other conversation what so ever.
No one acknowledged our Anniversary.
Not sure what happens because they use to be a great place to eat at.
Hopefully we hit an off night and things will get better.
We have been customers for a long time. This was our first time eating out since COVID-19, everything was enjoyable. Was disappointed that the outside of building was not being maintained, grass needed to be cut and flower beds needed attention. Hopefully this is addressed as it is now it looks right now no curb appeal.
Unfortunately when your service is terrible, your entire experience suffers.
Restaurant Week was a great success!
The food and service were great. I was surprised by the amount of dirt/dust. We sat at a booth and the dirt around the woodwork on the wall was disturbing in lieu of covid.
Our waiter, Jack, was the best. Very personable
Restaurant server explained that they were still getting back to normal after being closed due to Covid 19. It was also RW so the dining room was busier than usual. Service was okay and so was the food - not what I’m used to at Sullivan’s. Hopefully they can overcome the situation and get back to offering stellar food and service.
Poor restaurant week experience. Extremely long wait for food to come out and steak was not what would be expected for a steakhouse.

We made a reservation on open table and listed our anniversary as the reason for dining which was never asked about or acknowledged. Our waiter was ok, not overly friendly but got the job done. We also got sat next to the very noisy kitchen which was distracting for a romantic date night.
Service was really good.....I always end up ordering the same thing(ribeye steak with Oscar style) however, the Oscar style on my steak was a little cold....other than that, I would go back!
We went for restaurant week. Food was amazing melted in my mouth and the portions were great !
It was during restaurant week, but with the city limitations, the restaurant was not nearly filled to capacity. Our server, Jack, was great and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. However, 2 of 3 of our steaks were over cooked. I ordered medium and my sister ordered medium-well, but both were served well done and all 3 of us were served cool/cold mashed potatoes.
Food was great, as always. We went during restaurant week and they had a great special. Wish they would have offered a choice between soup/salad or extra vegetable. Great experience though. This is our second time going during restaurant week. I had shrimp and lobster chowder (a bit spicy), 10 oz NY strip, potatoes and cheese cake that we brought home. A lot of food. Delicious!!
Everyone's food at my table was very salty. Service was slow and not friendly. I wish we were given the option to order from the main menu instead of the special menu being that it was restaurant week.
My boyfriend and I went for a romantic dinner. The food was amazing! However there were two tables one 8 and one 4 top that was never cleared. The 4 top had no customers sitting there from the time we sat down till we left. The 8 top left when we were arriving. For the price of the meal I would expect the tables to cleaned off in a timely manner. Just very disappointed in the overall ambiance
Poor service all the way around... and it was a special evening for us as we we’re celebrating my son’s bday.
Slow... very slow service and very disorganized... not so friendly waiter.
I asked for wine list and with the mask, I did not understand what he said, apparently he said libations and corrected me as if I did not know what it meant. “That’s what I said...libations”! Very condescendingly done. Bread came out after the salads were finished.
Ordered tea but came after several reminders and when the biz of tea were presented, it was empty.
Good quality was not at the level we were used to. Could it be that it’s because it’s restaurant week and the prices were more enticing and the profit margin was poor?
I actually had to apologize to my son’s girlfriend as she drove from a far to spend that special evening with us but we were all disappointed.
Lastly, our waiter was paying more attention to another table who I just happened to witness with my own eyes getting slipped some cash. I mean what do you say when you see that... nothing! I thought tips were left in the check booklet and not done underhandedly.

My friends and I had an excellent experience dining for my friend’s birthday. The food was excellent and our server Justin was amazing. I would absolutely go back.
It didn’t live up to the hype I heard about the restaurant.
Lasts nights visit was definitely not good at Sullivan's. First, we made a reservation for 8:15 and specifically asked to sit at a high top table near the bar.
The host seemed very overwhelmed and there were at least 20 people waiting who had 8 pm reservations in the small waiting area. People were not 6 feet apart and with covid it was not safe.
He said that there are no tables near the bar and it would be 30 - 40 minutes. What's the point of making a reservation to then arrive on time and have to wait another 40 minutes?!
People were getting very upset in the waiting area so I walked over to the bar and asked the bartender if any of these tables were available. A man heard me who I was informed was the general manager and I explained to him we had a reservation for the bar area and he said of course no problem with u sitting there and allowed us to have a table however most of the high top tables were dirty and has not been cleaned.
There was only one bartender for the entire restaurant so she said we would have to wait for a little while and the food was average to say the least. We waited 15 minutes just for a drink and longer for only appetizers (we didn't order a full meal just drinks and apps).
It's very clear that they need more waitstaff and they need manage their reservations better. I was very disappointed with last nights service and food and hope someone sees and responds to this message.
I had a reservation for 7:30 and was not seated until almost 8pm. There was no host to greet us as we stood in the doorway w/several guest waiting to be seated :-(
I love this restaurant food is second to none and service is great... Respectfully I believe Sullivan’s is top 3 out of all restaurants in the tri state area!

We were a table of 6, celebrating a birthday. Multiple issues. Waited very long for drinks from bar. Steaks were over cooked and lobster tail and stuffed shrimp were cold. Lobster bisque soup was spicy and terrible, also cold. Never again. They did reduce our final bill to compensate but it wasn’t worth it. We could have went to Outback and had a better meal. Never ever again.
