It was just ok. There was some unpleasant situation going on with another customer which made me nervous. My steak was overcooked and very salty. All the food at the table seemed very salty. Peppercorns came out whole onto our salads when the the waiter used the pepper-mill. We had to pick them off.
The meal was awful. Steak was raw and we ask for medium well. Other steak was tough. Filet came back torched and like shoe leather. Broccoli was raw, twice. The asparagus was raw also. Hollandaise sauce was coagulated. However, Waitress was very nice. Calamari and shrimp were good.
The lamb and steak were prepared perfectly. They were served hot, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Sadly, there were no leftovers.
This is second time there and second time disappointed. Way too dark. With only a few tables in restaurant it took 1/2 hour to get bread and drinks. Shrimp were not deveined in shrimp cocktail. They got sent back to be deveined. Food was excellent. We asked to wrap our leftovers. A whole portion of spinach (2 forkful missing), 1/2 baked potato, loaded, and 1/2 bone in ribeye, medium. We were given the bill and had to ask for our leftovers. When we got home, we had scraps of rare meat, mashed potatoes with horseradish (I don't like horseradish), and about 2 tablespoons of creamed spinach. The waiter never told us he threw our stuff out and was replacing it. I was fuming and I will not go back!
Always on the somewhat expensive side, our visit was wonderful for an anniversary dinner. Great food, excellent service and a "free" dessert in honor of a special occation.
On a weekend the dinner menu should be available all day. There's no need for a "business" lunch menu
My husband and I have been long time rewards members of Sullivan’s for 10 years. This past Saturday we visited and noticed immediately that the service Level has reduced and we actually had an altercation with a manager.
We received an email offering a free appetizer on our next visit. When we went to use the offer we were visited by the manager who clearly had an attitude.
After we solved that mystery,we sat and waited for our left overs or our server to visit us again which she never did. We asked for the manager and he was so rude ... it actually shocked me.
Normally, we get hand written thank you notes after we dine at Sullivan’s. The manager always stops by and asked how everything was. We were flat out disrespected.
We were informed that they are now owned by macaroni grill. I guess that explains the lack of service. FYI.... we spent almost $250 that night. Wasn’t there for free food.
Overall we had a pleasant evening with some moments that could have been improved: we ordered a bottle of wine and it did not arrive until we got up to find a server and ask for it. The menu was complicated and not explained adequately. However the server did talk too much and not explain things well. The 2 filets ordered were very, very good. The ribeye my husband ordered was horrible, he would have rated it Poor. We had to wait a very long time for dessert. Overall service needs to be quicker and smoother. For the prices the services should be perfect. I won't be going back.
Steaks are excellent and the best banana pudding cake
They still don't know how to cook a steak. First time I was there ordered a strip steak medium rare, came out raw, yesterday ordered the same thing and it came out medium. Not the best of steak houses.
Service was excellent. Steak was overdone and didn’t have great flavor. Crab cakes and French fries were cold. This wasn’t a terrible meal by any means but I expected more from a restaurant advertised as a special occasion venue.
We arrived at 8 and it took at least 15 minutes to seat us while there were several open tables. They were courteous and apologized for the wait.
Probably need to get a little more organized at the hostess station.
Two out of the three steaks for lunch were very overcooked. It took almost 45 minutes for our food to be served and there were only a couple tables in the restaurant. Quality of the steak was not great. It was the driest rare filet I’ve ever had.
Como siempre no defrauda, y la especial atención de Ricardo, nuestro camarero lo hizo todo perfecto. Muy recomendable.
Sullivan’s didn’t disappoint! Our party of 4 was all happy with our appetizers & entrees. My wife had an issue with her cocktail but quickly remedied. We all had a wonderful experience
The steak was not great and the brussel sprouts were cold.
Hi, nice people. food came out wrong. they forgot a side,, did not split a meal, no water, agonizingly slow service. not sure if they were short handed or new team or what the deal was
Alexis was are waitress and she was great. When I go back I will ask for her again.
Our server, Elizabeth was exceptional! On top of our needs before we even knew we had them. Pleasant and always there (but not hovering). The food itself was delicious. I can't wait for another excuse to come back!
A really nice restaurant at a much more reasonable price than expected. The ambiance is wonderful for relaxed gatherings. However, for me particularly, I was not a fan of the food. The horseradish mashed potatoes tasted liked overly salted dry mashed potatoes. The creamed spinach overall was good, but again, extremely salty. The quality of steak for really good though, and as long as you are getting a medium or medium rare steak, it's cooked perfectly. If anyone in your party likes their steak more done, expect to have to send it back a couple times. The salmon was good, but the other seafood was lacking in any real pop in flavor. The tuna steak was especially disappointing. Don't get me wrong, high quality delicious tuna, but they added no real flavor to it at all...so it was like eating the largest piece of sushi ever. Even though my family really enjoyed it, and they would recommend it, I was not pleased and would not recommend.
Princess was our server and she was wonderful, she knew the menu, made suggestions, awesome asset to the business. The manager Mr. Allgood was very hands on friendly and funny. My party and I enjoyed everything the food was awesome.
We had a reservation for 5:30 - thinking that it would be a good time to have a somewhat relaxing early dinner. With no one in front of us, it took a while to be seated. Service wasn't of the caliber I would expect at this restaurant - lots of servers, but no attention to detail - not even to fill our water glasses. The plates were not hot with our steak and the garlic mashed potatoes were room temperature. It was loud, and we most likely will not return.
3 out of four steaks not properly cooked to temperature as requested. $100 bottle of chardonnay served at room temperature manager told table was recently received from liquor store. Why serve it if not right temperature? Server was just going through the motions. 2 managers approached table and apologized. Good intent but to be continually reminded that your dinner is disappointing doesn't help. They discounted the check by 50%. Maybe should have a better cook cooking steaks. Quality of meat was poor compared to their competition. Bread service is a big let down compared to the past. Not in a hurry to return. used to be one of our to go spots before multiple changes in ownership
The food was excellent. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! The service was not up to Sullivan standards. We had a difficult time finding our server and had to ask other servers to help us with the water refills and bread. The managers were not on the floor and were later seen hitting on the attractive female servers. Very disappointing. Hopefully this is not a sign of things to come.
The only issue I have ever had here is that the bartenders do not know how to make drinks
Bar staff was extremely rude!!! Dinner staff was perfect/sweet!
Ordered drinks at the bar while waiting to be seated and was treated as if we were trash ($27 bar bill). Our dinner bill was $525 plus $75 tip. Please let bartenders know that people with tattoos have money also. From now on we will be dining at Eddie V’s
Excellent service and food as always
I got the 1lb lobster tail. I'm not sure if it was cooked too long or the lobster was old, but the meat was dry and tough and tasteless. It was a disappointment for the price.
Overall a pleasant dining experience
I would recommend on my last experience. Service and food were mediocre
Excellent place for business lunch. Service was outstanding & so was food.
This was my first time there, everything was excellent! A really nice atmosphere, delicious food, and great service.
Unfortunately the filet mignon arrived burnt on the edges vs. well done/no pink as requested.
Everything was great! The food, the drinks, and the service. Great time and experience!
Friendly yet professional waiter. Nice smiles from all the staff. Steak cooked to perfection. Nice wine list.
We were happy over all. But three of four of us ordered the NY Strip on the "Restaurant week" menu and all three were VERY highly salty. The 4th person ordered filet and raved about it. Overall a nice night out though.
We were first seated at a table with a pole next to the table. We were moved to a booth. We watched several other parties be seated and moved from the same table.
The service was slow. We had to ask for bread twice. The Caesar Salads were excellent. However, we ordered 3 filets and a larger bone in filet. The one steak that was ordered medium was a tad less done than medium. The 3 steaks ordered medium well arrived red and bloody. It took awhile for the waiter to return. Very disappointing meal.
It was restaurant week so the value was great! I will admit the lobster bisque was on the salty side but my filet was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was wonderful, just the right amount of attentiveness. Will definitely be back!
Great steaks and good set as usual! Had a great night.
