Sullivan's did a GREAT job with reopening in this day and age of COVID 19. While their limited reopening menu surprised me, I totally understand why they would gradually move toward a full menu vs. jump in the deep end of the pool not how business would resume. That being said the limited menu had all the must-haves on it for a great steak dinner. The staff was careful, helpful and friendly and the food came out perfect. Kudos to the KOP Sullivan's staff and welcome back.
Our server name was Benjamin and he was exceptional. The food was great too especially the creamed spinach!
Although the world is currently in a bad place and people are asked to #socialdistancing, having the opportunity to keep my reservations and Sullivan's still honoring the Restaurant Week special was very important. It was the first time eating at Sullivan's and I will definitely be back.
Server was pleasant but had no personality, very robotic.
Food was outstanding.
Check was $21. higher then it should have been. Had to wait for it to be rerung
We had table 44 & initially, our server was a bit rude...till we complained, then she was sweet as pie.
Our server was excellent. Too bad I can’t say the same about the food. It’s been a while since dining here, and boy has this place gone downhill. We were a party of 5, and ordered 3 Steaks, Berkshire pork chop, and the Chicken. The chicken was the most edible. The other meats were not tender and also poorly executed. We ended up ordering another appetizer and salad during dinner because we enjoyed them far better than our entree’s . With so many steakhouses less than a mile away, there is no reason for us to come back.
I never had a bad experience thus far at Sullivan’s. The food is great, the drinks are well made and they are very friendly.
The good was heat. Service was mediocre and could have been better. The waitress didn’t hold interest in giving good customer service. The hostess was welcoming and set the stage for good ambience.
First time here for Restaurant Week. Thought the food was very good. I don't think I would pay normal prices but would go back next year for Rest week.
Food was delicious, Our service Ed was fantastic very attentive and made sure we had everything needed.
I expected to have the same experience I have had at Morton’s and Capital Grill....not so. We waited at least 20 minutes for waiter to take our drink order. Two of us got the featured Smoky Old Fashion. Very disappointed..no smoke flavor and the Rosemary sprig was bigger then the drink!
Filet was delicious , but sirloin strip a little dry. We all order the $7.00 salted bake potatoe. Very dry, and not much salt.
Finally, the service did not compare to other high end steak houses. Perhaps it was our waiter as I saw another waiter who was very attentive to his tables.
The caesar salad had all of the bad pieces of lettuce. The shrimp and lobster bisque was ok, very little seafood though, mostly broth. One steak was cooked correctly, the other was very undercooked and the waitress did not ask when it was brought out if it was cooked correctly. The cheesecake dessert was sub-par. Overall I was disappointed with my experience even considering the discounted rate for restaurant week.
I had a ribeye that was so tough I only ate half of it. It was also very under-seasoned. Appetizers way over-sauced. Might have been my last trip to Sullivan's.
The person who seated us was very sweet and upbeat and our server was excellent he was knowledgeable and on top of things. They made our anniversary lunch a good experience and it was our first time dining. It was also a quick surprise on her lunch break and they got us in and out.
Food was cold, service was terrible. I’ve been there multiple times and never expected to have a such an awful dining experience.
We’ve been to Sullivan’s many times. Our favorite choice of the multitude of steak houses . Unfortunately they missed the mark this time. It was a special family dinner and sadly service was lacking in every way . Food was overcooked for some , undercooked for others. It was a disappointment for sure. I’m not sure I’ll spend my next special occasion at Sullivan’s .
Good salad, bread, bisque, and salmon. Burger was bland. Fries were overcooked and hard.
Waitress service was quite good. Timing of drinks and meals were off.
1. Ordered a kettle one up and dry with a couple of olives, got a dirty martini.
2. Wife orders a vodka tonic, the first one came fine the 2nd one was a vodka club.
3. Ordered the bone-in strip, medium rare, got a very small cut, well done. The 2nd steak was the correct size but was rare. By the time I got the 2nd steak my potatoes were like warm and my wife of course had to start without me.
They gave me the dessert for my birthday on the house which was fine but not needed. I marvel how a steak place can get a steak wrong twice. Just odd for Sullivan’s.
I will of course keep coming as you are close and I like the place in general. Just thought the comments would help.

Over cooked lobster. Slow food
We usually dine at Mortons or Eddie V’s regularly (twice a month) but decided to give Sullivan’s a try as we hadn’t been in a few years.
Waitress didn’t acknowledge us for about 10/12 mins after we sat down. Not even “hi” or water.
Dinner took longer then expected to come out and never brought my daughters fries. Waitress never came asked about our dinner tasting or if we needed anything else until we were completely done and sitting for about 10 minutes.
Waiting for our valet with another couple they asked how was our service and dinner and I asked back the question and they said terrible... 3 hrs plus for just dinner no drinks or apps and they would not return.
I would give another try if Sullivan’s would have acknowledged the mistakes and took time to apologize or ask us back.
We have been dining at Sullivan’s for years, & previously have had very good food combined with exceptional service. Unfortunately, tonight’s experience was very unpleasant, primarily due to extremely poor service. We arrived on time for our 6:15 reservation to a restaurant that was nowhere near full yet. However, it took 20 minutes for a server to come to out table to take our order. Once she came, she told my husband she was aware of his food allergies & already alerted the chef. We all placed our orders including wine for myself. We waited another 20 minutes when the server came over & said she didn’t bring bread because my husband had a gluten allergy. I informed her he did not have a gluten allergy & requested bread which took another 10 minutes to get. They eventually brought our salads & appetizers but I had to ask for my wine. I heard the table next to me asking the same server for bread & asking why there salads were taking so long. When our entrees came, she told my son she would bring his sauce on the side(he never ordered his sauce to be put on the side) but didn’t return for 10 minutes with the sauce. Instead she was waiting on other tables as he waited for his sauce & his meal got cold. The food was tasty & consistent but because the service was so bad, we didn’t enjoy our dining experience. It was my husband’s birthday celebration & when I checked in with the hostess, she said she noted it for our server but there was no mention of it from the server & no birthday dessert brought out for him, as has been done in the past. After she dropped off our check & didn’t return for 15 minutes, my husband who was tired of waiting took the bill to a manager. He complained about the terrible service but she was unsympathetic & unapologetic. No one should spend this much money for a dining experience & be this disappointed in their meal. It was clear this server needed more training to provide the level of service that the restaurant used to provide.
I came to Sullivan’s for my birthday and they did not disappoint! Freddy our server was excellent. All of the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. I have travelled the country and have eaten in many steakhouse’s. Sullivan’s definitely ranks as one of the best. I cannot wait to come back again.
There was one host. Seating ran behind by 45 min. No manager anywhere to be seen. Our waiter was great but all steaks came out at wrong temperatures. Frustrating experience and would expect much better from such a high quality steakhouse.
We pulled up and the valet was nowhere to be found. Went inside and despite our reservation waited 30 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was so crowded and noisy and it was very difficult to hold a conversation or really enjoy the company. We had to ask twice for a drinks menu, the first one they brought over had missing pages. The server was very nice but she was too busy to pay much attention to any table and the pacing of the food and drinks was WAY off. The food tasted fine but the steak I ordered was not cooked like I asked for it and the crab meat topping was ice cold, so that made for a less than stellar combo. Overall I think you'd do better at a less expensive place or moving up to the Capital Grill or J. Alexander for a meal like this.
Great night at Sullivan’s with friends. Started with a cocktail in the bar, and continued to our table in the restaurant.
Service was timely and attention consistent throughout our dinner.

Very disappointed in the service ...the man that should us to our seats was so rude .. He look like he hated being at work and hated his job.. sets a tone for the rest of the Night.. he also gave us our dinner plates...not a word just dropped the plates on the table.. with so many places to chose from for dinner you should a least try to have your customers have a pleasant experience .. the food was good... but it’s nice to be treated nice also
We have enjoyed Sullivan's for many years but the experience was not as expected from the time we checked in with the host. I made a simple request when I made the reservation and which I reiterated at check-in for a booth in a nice and quiet location. When he (the host) pointed to one of the booths closest to the kitchen, I suggested instead, a booth on either side of the wall since several were open. We had a fairly early reservation and the restaurant was not crowded. He was clearly annoyed and walked over to some of the servers where he behaved unprofessionally. He could simply and easily have accommodated the request and instead made a small request seem burdensome. With so many choices such as Capital Grill, Davios, Mortons, etc., it isn't wise not to extend the very best service.
We had filet mignon and sides of potatoes. The steaks were done perfectly so that they melted in your mouth. We picked a Monday night and it was really quiet and we could hear each other talk. The wait staff is right on top of things when you need something. Parking was very easy in the mall parking lot. Top five restaurant in my book.
Spent over 4 Bills and sent back a steak 2x and was still far far from well done as requested,and 1 other was asked to be a medium and came rare also sent back, 3 of the apps arrived quickly and other two not for 10 more minutes. Overall a big disappointment. Our waiter was very nice but even he was embarrassed over the kitchens performance. Will not recommend to others, sorry.
Went for Dinner on a Sunday night , not too crowded. We were seated quickly and were given a nice booth . Had a few cocktails . We both had filet Oscar style , tasted very good , nice flavor . Had to be sent back as mine was raw . First time that’s happened here since 1999? The kitchen looked uneasy . I think the same thing happened to the booth behind us . Anyway we will return as this is our go to steak house . Dessert was prepared perfectly .
My family and I were in the area visiting my son at college and tried to book a reservation at one of the other local steakhouses (Morton's, Capitol Grill, Ruth's Chris)
I was unable to get a reservation as it was Valentines Weekend. I had never been to Sullivan's before nor had I actually heard of Sullivan's until I viewed it on Google Maps
We were extremely pleased that all of the other steakhouses were booked or else we never would have had the wonderful experience that we had at Sullivan's
The food and service were impeccable.

Food was very good but service was extremely slow and they got an order wrong at our table and the manager said they would comp us and they never did.
For such a high end steak place we were treated very poorly. Waited 40 min for our entree after salad. My steak was supposed to be medium but came out like seared ahi tuna. They brought our appetizers and entree to wrong table. When leaving we were given a receipt thanked as the waiter literally was walking away from us. Oh and it was just a folded receipt like we were at a diner. My son waited tables before and always give the Beni fit of the doubt but the attitude of the waiter was hard not to see.
This resturant is not worth the money.
Our service was terrible.
Two meals were sent back because they were cold.
Some side dishes never came.
Water glasses were not filled during meal.
Had to keep asking for bread.
Food came out at different times.
Slow service during a non-busy time. We also were seated by ourselves in a very cold area. It started to fill up as we finished up but there were several tables available and we were seated away from everyone. Could have been the reason for the extra slow service.
