We made reservations and were seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was friendly but seemed to have several other tables she was attending to. The drinks and a few appetizers were very slow to arrive. The less than perfect review was also because of the inconsistency in the food. Two of the six of us sent our food back because it was not cooked as ordered. Also, the steak seemed tough (I tasted my friend's). Overall, while I have had previously great service at this location, I was disappointed that my friends did not have a good first experience.
Personal favorite. We had the cheesesteak egg rolls, Oscar Style Filet, and Banana Foster all top notch!
awesome food and staff. Steak cooked exactly how we ordered
Food and service were awesome! Kitchen crew is amazing!!!
We had a good experience. Our food was cooked right, they left the mashed potatoes off our order so had to go back and get that.
Our server Chris was very good. Very open, very friendly, very knowledgeable, he was a pleasure to have serving us.
Had reservations arrived on time and checked in as expected. Waited more than 15 minutes then made an inquiry after a party (who arrived after us) was seated. Hostess stated that “oops you were never checked in”. After being seated, we waited a while, drank our water and finally our waitstaff informed us that she had a problem with the food at another table so Someone else would bet us started. After we finally ordered we were told that bread for the table was on the way. After our soup arrived we still had no bread. We waited while our waitstaff held an extended conversation at another table and after she finished, we asked for and received the bread. When our food arrived, my husband’s plate wasn’t correct. He was also served his refilled Coke in an iced tea glass - complete with a straw, because “we had no clean glasses”. Again we waited for our waitstaff to appear and finally had to ask someone to go find her. This certainly wasn’t type of experience that is expected of Sullivan’s. The food, however was delicious once they corrected my husband’s plate.
Went for Mother’s Day - server was not great.
Great Food with Great service. The drink Choices were amazing and the expertise of the server was very helpful
Overall it was great, I ask for my steak medium well and some of it was well done. Also the three cheese Mac the noodles was not all the cook, but my wife food was amazing she loved it.
Went for our fifth anniversary. It was a great experience. They even had rose pedals on our table. Food was great and service was great. Highly recommend.
Food was great
3 drinks at the bar 50$ with tip wow...
Steak over-cooked. Food was cold! Value horrible!
Never saw a manager. Restaurant half empty on Friday night. Never again. So disappointing, used to be so good!!
Lastly, so obvious that awesome reviews posted 6-7 days prior to this are manufactured. If you go back a bit further you can see the true feedback.
Side dishes were underwhelming. Food did not constitute a good value.
Wonderfull Food, superior service, and a really amazing environment.
Easter lunch with family and everything was wonderful. From service to dood all outstanding
Our server Robert was awesome and the manager Joe made sure everything was just right! Great service, excellent food, couldn’t have asked for a better experience
Reception was pleasant, table was ready, waitress we knowledgeable and nice. Food was delivered hot, and timely and flavor and presentation excellent. So nice to be in a place that had NO TV"S and conversation was possible.
Easter Sunday with family was enjoyable and food and service was excellent as usual.
Excellent as always! We bypass Del Friscos, Capital Grille and Ruth Chris (all very good too) to get there. Only bad thing is the parking sucks if you don’t use valet, but that’s what Uber is for.
Amazing experience from start to finish. They made our anniversary extra special!
We were there for my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious! The service from our waiter was excellent! We definitely plan on dining there again!
Excellent food and great service. It was my birthday. Super dessert.
My first experience was excellent but this time the service wasn't great. The music, Groove Masters Band was outstanding. I will definitely be back just to listen to them at least.
Always a great experience at Sullivan’s. The salmon and sautéed spinach were cooked to perfection and the ambience was very relaxing for a Sunday afternoon brunch. We will be back again soon.
Experience was worth telling,
Service was great-
Food Great ,
Nice atmosphere, when you spoke to someone they spoke back in a mannerly way. It was my First time, First Wedding Anniversary, We Really enjoyed ourselves, Thank You for a GREAT NIGHT.
OH lots of Prom attendance made the evening more excited, meet nice couple that was coming up on 46 yerars of marriage, had nice conversation. Jazz Band was on time!! thanks so much for EVERYTHING. WE'LL SEE YOU AGAIN , So thoughtful of you for the Rose peddles on the table FANTASTIC 🗣️👏💞
I am so happy this place is open for lunch. What a great deal for excellent food. I have had lunch there twice this week !
The food was very good, I entertain clients here quite a bit but have noticed recently the wine list prices have increased. I think that Sulivans is gouging their customers when they want $75 for a bottle of Meomi that can be purchased at most wine shops and Costco for $15.97, that is a big turn off and makes me think about returning.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We’re looking forward to our next visit.
Tasteless food for the price, we could have eaten at other steakhouses, Bentley's for instance, for less, and have a much superior experience. The facilities also looks unkept, not what I expect for fine dining.
Wonderful restaurant, my food was delicious and customer service outstanding
1st waitress Layla was very disappointing. When taking drink orders I asked for a Saphire martini up with blue cheese olives. Layla asked if that was on the menu, I said yes it’s a martini. After several more confusing question from Layla I guess she left to ask the bar. What I got was martini with about 50% olive juice. The manager Samatha I guess could see my face contorting as I spit the martini back into the glass and basically said is it too dirty visibally seeing a cloudy glass of brine. Samantha quickly brought a new one. After placing food order and getting appetizers & soup I asked Layla for a glass of Smith & Hook Cabernet. Layla asked if I wanted it on the rocks. I must have had a very confused look on my face and I said no, it’s wine. And again Layla said, yes do you want it on the rocks. I said no, just a normal glass of wine. Layla then proceeded to bring me a water tumbler of wine, 1/2 full for I guess the 6oz pour. I asked why the wine was in a water glass and not a wine glass. Layla said because I asked for a glass of wine and like pointed at the water glass like I was crazy. I did say something like yeah a glass of wine like I’ve been ordering for 20 years. Layla took the water glass of wine and returned with it in a normal wine glass and informed us she had given our table to another waitress’s. The wine glass clearly had wine all over the outside as it was bleeding out over the white table cloth. I did relay this story to manager Samatha who said she was sorry and would have the table cloth changed, which it never was. We finished our meal with a stained table cloth and the wine that was spilled out of the glass was never replaced. Our second waitress was excellent she just had too many tables so couldn’t keep track of us that well. Oh also we didn’t get a meat presentation. So basically a second complete failure of a meal at Sullivan’s steakhouse.
It was excellent!
Atmosphere and waitress was wonderful. We did have a great time however, the steak was charred ..like back burnt taste and not very flavorful. Cheesecake for dessert was dry and overdone. Really brown around outside. Valet parking was a must even with all spots available so we walked out the door and our car was 20 feet from the curb.
Drink service was very slow. Husband got the Wagyu, $70, it was not Wagyu that we have had before. Very tough steak and had it prepared medium rare. My sisters large filet was extremely burnt on the outside, way over-charred for sure. but the filet was still much more tender than the Wagyu! The potatoes au gratin had zero flavor and potatoes were undercooked. The lobster Mac n cheese, server said you had, came out with zero lobster. Took server about 35 min to bring back our credit card and bill after paying and zero drinks on the table. Only thing excellent was my Sea Bass! No manager ever even stopped by the table all night.
My Son, 23, just had the leftover steak and said it was the toughest steak he has ever eaten. Picture below! We want be back.
Servers could have been more attentive and knowledgeable.
The main reason we tried out sullivans was because we got a giftcard from Costco at a discount.
Poor service from the bottom up. Need to go back to 'Guest Service 101' for the semester - maybe that would help? I'd compare this service to a coffee shop experience at much higher prices!
I’ve eaten there before and the food is always great. On this occasion the 4 filets that were ordered were tough and lacked flavor. The steaks were disappointing but the chocolate dome dessert was amazing.
Honestly sub par experience for Sullivan’s. I’ve been to other Sullivan’s but my prime rib was flavorless, over cooked and cold, I was over charged, and my drink was empty the entire time even tho our waiter wouldn’t stop bugging us.
