Very accomadat ing and friendly staff. Food was delicious
The experience was amazing. Food was wonderful. Our server was the best I've had in years. An allover great experience. I will definitely be back in the future.
I love coming to Sullivan's. The steak is always great, and the bananas foster dessert is simply divine. I've always had great service here and have enjoyed every meal.
The meal was excellent, had the Cowboy bone-in rib-eye and wife had the "Sure thing". The Staff were great.
A bit of a disappointment. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday. The hostess took us through the restaurant to our table...only to find out our table was taken. So it was back to the front to come up with another table. They found one and we were seated. Waitress came in a timely manner and asked what we wanted to drink. My girlfriend ordered wine...I asked for tea. Very soon she brought the wine...but didn’t bring my tea...which I eventually got when my meal came. That struck me as odd...I would have expected that to come when she brought the wine. My girlfriend ordered the filet...I ordered a ribeye. Her filet was fine...but my ribeye had the consistency of shoe leather...it was very tough. I know ribeye may not be the most tender cut of steak...but when I pay $210 for a meal...I expect better. I’ve eaten at Sullivan’s before and thought it was excellent...so perhaps this was an off night. I’d certainly go back again...but would order a different cut of meat.
Nice waitress but when large party came in we were neglected. I ordered a medium--my husband a rare. Those were switched. (Different cuts--so not as easy as changing plates). Otherwise food was good. But they need to work on service. No longer the high end classplace it was a few years ago. Now it is moreLonghorns but without decent service.
Absolutely fabulous!! Michael was our server and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I did not feel any racism from anyone who worked there. This is why you feel great about a $300.00 plus dinner.. Attention to detail, customer service, great food, they treat you right. My wife and I were floating on air when we finally decided to leave... Thank you for doing everything right Sullivans..
We saw the $39 sure thing advertised good until Feb 20th. We went the 17th and was told they were not offering the sure thing , So she went to talk to the manager and he came over to talk to us, I showed him the ad so he talked to his team and came back to say we could get the sure thing, But why advertise it if you’re not going to do it? This was our second trip to Sullivan’s in the last 60 days and we were supremely disappointed. The last experience was sub-par due to food not being prepared properly and the stiff not being attentive to the factors surrounding that experience and this experience was more of the same.
After ordering our meal, we waited 45 plus minutes for it to arrive. All four of our party ordered seafood. Which cooks very quickly. Two of the four meals came out Luke-warm at best. They fixed replacements and one of them came to the table and was bit cooked properly. They offered a addition side item and them didn’t bring it to the table.
I understand restaurants get busy, but when I select an upscale restaurant where I’m going to spend $100/person to eat dinner I expect a level of service that is a step above the average restaurant. Sullivan’s missed the mark on my last two visits, I’m not sure I’ll go back. There are too many options for me to go to a place that couldn’t get it right for me. Perfect is a high bar, but when I pay $50 for a steak, they should cook it properly.
Had to wait for reservation but service and food was great once we got our table
Booth requested was not available when we arrived. Several items requested were not what we expected. For example, a sauce we liked was watered down. The martini glass was reduced in size. Also, the wait staff looked like they had been replaced, so we felt no connection.
When you pay $45 or more for a steak, and meals often cost +$150, the service and food should be exceptional. Sullivan’s is part of the Del Frisco chain of high end steakhouses. Therein lies the problem in my opinion. Corporate restaurants often trade good service and food quality for better margins. Both of our steaks were ordered medium, but they came close to rare, even a little cold. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted as if they came out of a box. The service was ok, but we didn’t get the value we come to expect. I’m not willing to pay for subpar food quality and lack of attention to detail. We won’t be dining at Sullivan’s again.
The food was excellent...what we have always expected every time we take the long drive to Charlotte. The salad and filet was incredible....even the bake potato was great! We also tried the Bread pudding which we always try to get through because its so delicious if you like bread pudding. Overall it was a very nice meal.
Our experience was awesome the waiter was very friendly and courteous the food was delicious the place was so beautiful and the time we had there was excellent
We went for our anniversary and they treated us so well! Very romantic. High recommend.
