My wife and I went here for our Anniversary. Been doing this for 7 years now..
Bone in rib was fair
We expected better...
I would not recommend a friend to this restraunt, I believe the staff are very very friendly and knowledgeable of the food this restaurant provides. The food is far too over priced for what you receive and the alcohol can very quickly just be as expensive as the food.
Me and my date had a very nice dinner at Sullivan’s-Baltimore. The food was excellent. The manager Damon and his staff were amazing. They have a great selection of cigars. I will definitely be going back soon.
I had a great evening last night for date night. The food and service was on point. I also enjoyed the soft music in the background while having the best calamari appetizer ever. After dinner I had dessert on the patio with a tasty cocktail and a cigar . It was a little chilly and the manager Damon Hawkins had the heated lamps on to make sure we were cozy. I enjoyed the night at Sullivan's and will be back soon.
I love this place Food was excellent and the service was even better. Jessica was the best bartender I’ve ever had she took very good care of me. The manager Dexter also was very nice, he made a point to check on me to make sure everything was going well. I will be back every time I visit Baltimore!
Had an awesome time. Excellent drinks and food. This time we decided to stay at the bar and eat this time. Bartenders were knowledgeable, personable and fun!
Excellent steakhouse with good cocktails and attentive service.
Our server seemed overwhelmed and forgot to bring the drinks we ordered. Also we never got additional napkins we requested. I would expect better service in an establishment like this.
I have had good experiences at other Sullivan’s locations and was excited to have my fiancé dine with me here. First off we were the first in the dining room. The booth the hostess sat us at was quite dirty. Crumbs still on the table from the previous night. Dusty/broken lamp shade on light, dirty glasses, silverware and plates on the table. The hostess said they didn’t have someone to wipe the water spots after they are washed, but some of that was more than water spots.
We ordered off the Sure Thing menu. We got the caesar salad, shrimp and lobster bisque and I added french onion soup. The first course and bread was very good. But the 6 oz steaks came and they were pretty small. Yes I know they were only 6 oz, but seemed even smaller than that. They have a very heavily peppered rub on them. Definitely would ask for less of that if I would have known. I replaced the horseradish mashed with the au gratin potatoes and those were good. My fiancé did have the horseradish mashed and they were not good. Seemed old and not very tasty. We both got the bananas foster bread pudding and I remember this being delicious at the Indianapolis location. Here however was served cold and was not how I remembered at all. Overall I would not eat at this location again. I would choose Capital Grille or Gordon Ramsey Steak or almost any place other than here again.
Fantastic food and service and a great price for a quality dinner .
My friends and family gathered to celebrate my birthday! The live music added the right touch! The cocktails and food were delicious! The ambiance couldn’t have been better. I truly enjoyed my birthday!
We had a great time at Sullivan’s for our Anniversary/Birthday celebration! The service was attentive, friendly and courteous-Richard handled our questions and requests like a professional. Our steaks were presented perfectly and melted with each bite! Our appetizers, soup, salads, and desserts were delicious as well. The manager, Damon, ensured that we were pleased and that everything was to our satisfaction! We will definitely be coming back again!
We meet for cocktails, which turned into a small party.
The happy hour menu was outstanding. The drinks were exceptionally top shelf. The food to share was a very good portion and delicious. We enjoyed the jazz band which was a total surprise. The band added such a beautiful ambiance, we were seated at the window which was the best seating in the bar area. Our server Ciara was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The manager Damon Hawkins was such a gentleman and very accommodating. I highly recommend Sullivan’s!! I will spread the word and I will definitely return on a regular. Thank you for a beautiful evening!!
We went to Sullivan’s on the last day of the extended Restaurant Week. The food was excellent, prepared to our liking. Our server Alicia was extraordinary. She went above and beyond to see that we had an enjoyable experience. She was knowledgeable about the menu and after serving checked on us frequently to make sure we were pleased. I have read some negative reviews about this restaurant and am pleased to be able to disagree.
Everything was perfect. The waiter took the time out to explain the different steaks available and gave complete attention to us when we asked questions. He made us feel like we were his only table. All of the food was delicious and the side portions are huge so I would suggest sharing with someone. We will definitely be back!
I loved the restaurant week menu! Best ribeye I’ve ever had!
We enjoyed our meal at Sullivan's during Baltimore Restaurant Week. Our three courses were all well prepared and delicious, and our server was friendly and efficient. Sullivan's steaks are terrific, and their side dishes are large enough to share.
Terrible service. Went there twice and dinner took 3 hours both times. It took an hour just for bread and water. Food was great and employees where nice. I'm not sure why everything was so slow, but if you want a typical hour dinner, don't go there.
The waitress did not remember our orders and we had to remind her about our salads and the drinks that we ordered.
Great & friendly service
Best server ever - Rocky.
Great experience and phenomenal service
Food was tasty but my appetizer came out cold. My entree came out wrong. They barely gave me any sides. The wine was the best thing about the experience. Both valet and manager were rude. Server seemed overwhelmed
Our experience was bad from the start. The waiter knocked over a empty wine glass on the table which shattered everywhere. The waiter also spilled a cup of soup on my brother in law shoes. The worst was a steak served that had spoiled which we sent back. It stunk so bad. Tried one bite and had to spit it out. Left a foul taste in my mouth. Two of us got sick from tasting the steak. Our mixed drinks tasted watered down. The mgr did come over to help with the situation. He cut the bill in half. But the nice dinner planned was already ruined.
The service was horrible and even the steaks weren’t cooked correctly.
Our experience was not what we had experienced on earlier visits. The service was spotty at best with no attention to detail. A server brought our steak knives tp our table and dropped them into the middle of the table rather than placing them at our plates. Our waitress never asked about coffee at the conclusion of the meal. Even paying the check was confusing. We paid with gift cards and it appeared no one including a manager knew how to deal with these. It was a very unlike Sullivan's experience.
Although I will admit that the cowboy ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a while, the vegetables were cold and not very good. Also, the service was the worst I’ve had in years. I was so disappointed by the entire experience from the lack of a fully set table to no one coming to the table for first 15 minutes we were seated. Will nit recommend nor go there on any future visits to Baltimore. All this with a reservation too. Not like we were walk-ins.
Although the food was good, the service, or lack of service made the entire experience bad. I go here very often, and this by far was my worst experience here.
3 of 4 steaks had to be sent back. Waitress agreed that they were cooked well done when we requested medium rare. There was zero pink whatsoever. When your paying $50+ per steak, I am not going to eat a well done steak.
Our waitress was on another planet. We repeatedly had to ask other waiters to help find our waitress.
Fantastic Ambiance Food and Service.
Raquelle was superb and an absolute asset to your establishment. There was a minor glitch that she recovered from the back up crew and the performed marvelously.
Meal was everything we thought it would be. A true 5 star experience.
It was so enjoyable we returned for Late night happy hour at the bar.
We have already told so many people about our experience and how great it was. We went for my boyfriends 30th birthday. The smile on his face was great, rose petals and a hand written birthday card from Sullivan's. The meal was amazing, just as it was a month ago! The server was accommodating and professional. We will definitely be going again when we are in town!
Running late from a meeting and got to bar at 645pm! Happy hour over at 7pm. Waitress was fantastic! Unfortunately, they were out of one of the appetizers but she came back to tell me they had one more order! How nice! Love their apps and wine! Great evening in between meetings!
There was a table that was extremely loud, the Brussels sprouts were over cooked and dried out. The filet was good but won’t go back
Rough evening here.
Service was par, however, the food really was bad. I had to send my filet ($45) back twice a d it was still not cooked to order-it was raw and I requested medium well. Did dishes were all over cooked, the bread was not fresh and the deserts were just ok. Nothing special, extremely overpriced for the quality of food. I had been to the Sullivans in Austin, TX years ago and it was phenomenal. You will find a better meal at Cheesecake Factory, really!
Been here many times for date night. Very quiet midweek. Amazing food, and wines.
It was my birthday and the food and service was horrible
