It was amazing! I truly enjoyed myself so did my date. We will be going back
Food was great, no wait, service was impeccable.
Our waiter Terrance was awesome. Food was great and I already recommended to other people
CLOSE TO 4 STARS
went with kathy and brian and lexie
WHILE THE FOOD WAS BETTER THAN AVERAGE IT MISSED ON A FEW ENDS.
T lobster tail which was nice size and presented well was very blah with no taste
Kathy and Lexie both had the crab legs which were exceptional. brian has a steak which was good.
Service was good.
Great appetizers...But..Chef trys to hard to make food look fancy..Put more effort into taste...I should not spend most of my time cutting everything that comes out of kitchen...Salads should be chopped, vegtables shouldn't be a chore (broccoli)..Entrees lacked flavor..I had a steak I couldn't cut and was mostly fat...
We've eaten at the Chicago location a few times and wanted to try it in our hometown in Baltimore. The food and drinks were really good; however, there was an incident in which a waiter was walking by our table with wine glasses in his hand and one of the glasses hit the edge of the booth that my wife was sitting in. The glass shattered on the floor around our table, some got on the bench my wife was sitting in and some on our table. The staff moved quickly to clean up the area, as well as, change the linens, while we stood off to the side. Although, the manager was very apologetic, there was no comp from our bill due to the distraction and disruption of our dining experience and for that we were disappointed.
The food was very good and our server was very nice and attentive but paying NY City prices in Baltimore is a big ripoff. Neither the service, the ambiance or the table setting warranted these prices.
The restaurant is a favorite of mine but the service from the hostess this past Tuesday, was terrible. I called before my reservation letting the person that answered the phone that I needed to update my reservation and that my opentable app was loading, thinking that calling may be quicker. I told her that the original time was 7:00 and I needed to change it to7:45 and she said ‘okay...’. I chuckled and thanked her because without asking my name or acknowledging who I was... she couldn’t have planned on updating anything.
I ended up verifying through the app that it was now 7:45 (not knowing if my app had updated it or she did). When I got to the restaurant I saw my date at the bar and it was about 7-10mins before my reservation. I ordered a drink and started talking, I got the notification my phone about missing my reservation and realized some time passed. I walked to the hostess at the front door, apologized for not checking in, as I had an opentable reservation and I was notified that I’d missed it but I wanted to stay at the bar. She started typing and said ‘Okay.’ This time I volunteered my last name and she say ‘yea this is you?’ as she turned the ticket, she’d just printed so that I could see the print.
I do not expect every establishment to feel like the set of ‘Cheers’, but acknowledgment of patrons and customer service is a requirement. I hope that this type of service is not a standard at Sullivan’s.
Our family has had Easter dinner at Sullivan's for the last 3 years and it has always been exceptional. Rafael was our waiter and he was extremely professional, as well as, sweet to our grand children. :-) Also, Adam the general manager stopped to asked if we were taken care of. love this restaurant.
I have been a huge fan of Sullivan's in King of Prussia Pa. for a long while. Over the weekend we decided to give the Baltimore Maryland facility at try. While the restaurant was very nice inside the food was not at the standard typical of what I have experienced in KOP. The steak was good, but not the great piece I was used to getting, our baked potato was cold and our vegetable which was broccoli was fine. Our waiter was trying very hard to take care of all the duties he had, but unfortunately this also was below what I had experienced elsewhere. He was disheveled, unshaven, and when applying our toppings to our potato used a very unseemly looking condiment caddy and spread the product on our potato with a well used spoon that had obviously been over many potatoes before us. Overall it was a disappointing experience and I hope that Sullivan's in Baltimore can kick it up a notch or fearfully not many patrons will return.
Very disappointed with my first experience here at Sullivan’s. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends and family.
This was a very nice place for my husbands birthday. I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice steak dinner for your birthday or anniversary.
Forgot to bring out our salad prior to our meal. Received 1 of 2 baked potatoes and then told it would be 25 minute wait for the other one. Manager came to table and said he would bring a different side. Finished our meal and still hadn’t gotten the promised side dish. Manager was ok but waiter was horrible. Waiter was totally oblivious to the whole situation. For the price, go to Fleming’s and hopefully have Michael as your waiter.
We really enjoyed ourselves
Very nice evening. Highly recommend the calamari!
Over all experience was nice however I booked a reservation to celebrate a very special birthday for whom I was in attendance with none the less the hostess did not make the watier aware of the celebration in turn when I asked the waiter will my friend recieve the complimentary desert for the celebration the waiter advised that the hostess didn’t not inform him the after that he asked my friend to see their ID to prove his actually birthday was that day before bringing out the complimentary desert ....
Sullivan's never seems to disappoint. We have a few dinners here a year and they are always exceeding expectation. Staff is friendly and professional. We always have an amazing meal. Food is cooked to the correct temperature. Nothing bad to say about any of the Sullivan's I've ever been to.
Excellent steaks. Only negative was an odd fishy smell when we walked in the door. Was strong enough that we almost left. The service and food were very good. Best cowboy ribeye I've ever had.
The food was delicious. We loved the Sure Thing menu! It was reasonably priced and gave three choices in each category. We enjoyed a large caesar salad, NY Strip steak(cooked to each person's request) with au gratin potatoes and banana foster bread pudding with ice cream for dessert. The service was fantastic! We loved Jordan. She was very attentive, informative and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening! Thank you.
Will not return
Great food. Excellent service.
Order steak. The lobster tail was bad. Server was ok but lacked appropriate training
This was our 4th time eating at Sullivan's. The food as always was fantastic! My wife and I both got filet's for our main meal and they were cooked perfectly to our liking. The Caesar salads were very fresh and the cheese stake egg roll appetizers were amazing yet again as well. The only small knock was this time we sat very close to kitchen which certainly didn't ruin our meal at all but I would have preferred being a little further away from that spot. None the less another amazing meal at Sullivan's and we look forward to our next visit!
Entree was absolutely outstanding. Steak was perfection. Took girlfriend for birthday and staff had laid rose petals on table, took our picture and she received a complimentary dessert. Atmosphere was great and service fantastic. Prices are as expected but well worth every penny. Great experience, I would definitely go back.
Phenomenal, as always. The new bar menu is outstanding. We wish we had room to try them all.
Classic steakhouse! Great taste!
Jenifer handled reservation for private party. She was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. India was a great hostess. Steven was a terrific bartender -- Iris was a fantastic waitress.
Food -- Calamari was the best I've had. Steaks were mouth watering. Sea Bass was very tasty.
Creme brûlée was awesome, despite the crust being a bit light.
The service was great . The meal was one of the best I've ever had the food was incredible we're definitely back again
Had a wonderful experience! Can't wait to be back!
My server Aris was great, a true professional, it was clear he liked his job and his customers. Had it not been for him I surely would have left without paying the bill. I ordered our drinks Ketel up for me with 3 blue cheese stuffed olives and a special drink for Stephanie. I then ordered our food, telling him we would split everything including the wedge salad we would start with. The rack of lamb cooked medium and the 1lb lobster tail. The salad and drinks were great, it would go severely downhill from there. Our lobster arrived along with a woman that I would later find out is the Manager, as she cut the lobster from its shell she told us how tender it was, this despite the fact she was struggling mightily in trying to remove it from the shell, she once again remarked how tender it is. I joked and said it does not seem that tender. Finally it was freed and put on a plate, then without provocation she picked up the drawn butter and started to pour it onto the lobster. I stopped her by abruptly saying no don't. I've never had a server try to and pour butter on my lobster before. Then I cut into my lamb it was a bloody mess. Certainly not medium, so I sent it back and it returned 20 minutes later over cooked and not hot. She was totally clueless in all areas. I am not going to comment on what happened next but it would be pointless.
Delicious beef, wonderful service. A great place for a special ocassion
This is a great steakhouse when you are looking for a nice dinner. The service is great and the food is delicious.
Thank goodness for Carolyn’s recommendations. The ribeye with the Cajun crab cake was amazing.
Everything was GREAT from the service, being seated, Food, recommendations and the well detailed description of each meal, and the environment.
We had a great time and enjoyed our dinner. The food was great and a lot of it. We had enough for dinner the next night. We had two managers stop by the table to make sure everything was good and had great conversations with them.
Good service - good food. Nobody rushed us and the noise level was such we
could easily carry on a conversation.
Excellent food and service as usual!!
No one can open oysters, tried three times, appetizer was more than my meal and waiter didn't mention it
Haven’t been to Sullivan’s in Baltimore for several years, and I’m afraid I found that since my last visit it has gone downhill. The restaurant is starting to show its age, actually a bit worn: stained carpet, men’s bathroom in need of a good cleaning. Meal was OK, but nothing great. My wife had the filet mignon which was “good” and cooked as ordered. I had the rib eye which was fair: tough and over cooked. Broccoli was tasteless, baked potato fine, creme brûlée was quite good. Service was good, but not exceptional. Entire experience was a bit disappointing and did not live up to previous visits.
Service was was great and attentive
