The place was to expensive. We spent $253 dollars on our food and the side dish was bigger then the entree. The food wasn't that's good. If u have money like that to blow then go for it. I just don't think the food was worth the much money. The wine was ok but not for $15 a glass.

My wife and I have been to Sullivan's for Mother's Day brunch on two occasions and had a good experience each time. She wanted to try for dinner so we went the Sat after Valentine's. Sullivans should be an up-scale restaurant but the attire of the patrons was all over the map. People were dressed from redneck/ghetto casual to business dress. I saw jeans with t-shirts and baseball hats; and jeans with flannel shirts and work boots. I would expect the hostess to at least ask someone in a t-shirt to remove their sideways baseball hat before entering the dining room. I guess not. As for the food- $39 for an 8 oz filet is fine for a USDA Prime steak which Sullivan's does not serve. Ruth's Chris charges $41 for an 8 oz Prime filet. I expected a center-cut steak but bothwere from the tail of the tenderloin. As for service- mediocre is the best word to describe. At this price point, you have many options at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore and I suggest you opt for someplace other than Sullivan's... unless you are coming from your construction work site or your hip-hop dance class.

Not impressed with the filet mignon or the mashed potatoes. The soup made me feel sick. The ribeye was good though.

It was my first time and i really enjoy myself. Went there for Valentines Day and the food, and ambiance was really great. It’s a great place for a date but maybe not a first date as the price is up there!

Food was excellent except my fiancé did find a hair in her crab cake. The server took care of it immediately and the manager came over to apologize. We went for Valentine’s Day and I wish the website or the hostess who called to confirm the reservation would have made it clear that they wouldn’t be serving there regular menu but instead $80 per person 3 course meal. We overheard our initial waiter talking to other patrons about people who also didn’t know about the special menu and had decided to leave. He called them cheap as if he knew the reason they were leaving was the $80. We found that to b rude and insulting. Luckily for us we had more interaction with a lovely young server with a much better attitude

Always tasty, warm, well prepared food. Well worth the 25 mile drive from my home. The only shortcoming during this visit was there was a fixed price menu due to the holiday, and the entre that would have been my first choice wasn't included on this special Valentine's Day menu. Bummer! My meal, however was still good.

Been to all of the best steak restaurants throughout the DMV. Sullivan's was not inpressive. Seemed more along the lines of a chain like outback. Ordered ribeye medium, pink inside. Steak came out well done. When I told waiter, he asked that I cut the meat through the middle which I did... well done as stated. Waiter took plate and left my wife's plate to get cold.. after 10 minutes I asked him to take wife's plate and bring it back with my newly prepared steak. They brought my steak back piping hot; my wife's food..cold. we didn't complain; we got to-go bags, paid a 20% tip and left. I was very much taken back that the manager didn't offer any concessions for they're mistake. After paying for the meal I expressed my concerns to the waiter who had no remorse. 280.00 bill to learn a valuable lesson... taking my pallette elsewhere.. it's was never about the money..

Another great meal!

We were early so decided to get cocktails at the bar. We got signature cocktails for happy hour prices - awesome. Then we were seated for dinner. Given the large portion sizes my husband and I split the wedge salad and the cowboy ribeye with sides of mac & cheese and au gratin potatoes. Food came out quickly and done to perfection. Service was great all around. Another great time at Sullivan's!

We went for Valentine’s Day/one year anniversary, and the entire staff was polite and very welcoming. The filet was exceptional! And the molten lava cake is to die for!

Could not have had a better anniversary dinner, food was fantastic... steaks melted right in your mouth. Lobster mashed potatoes and the horseradish mashed potatoes were to die for, wait staff treated us as we were the only couple in the restaurant. Highly recommend everyone to try Sullivan's at least one time in their life time.

We took our Son out for his birthday with the family minus the kiddies. It was a great evening and we were treated like royalty. Thank you for making us feel so good. The waiter was Derek and he was just perfect. We hadn't been out together for a while and the food was so good and the ambiance was great for conversation and we just had a very good time. We will be back.

Both of the rib eyes we ordered were tasty, but a bit sinewy. The Brussels sprout side was a bit vinegary and heavy for us. We thought we'd be getting them roasted whole rather than chopped up.

I really enjoyed my time at the restaurant, the atmosphere was awesome food was good. What I did experience was my glass of wine, the glass was filthy. I ask my sister to feel the glass and she said it was dirty also. So I ask the waitress to feel the glass as I hadn’t drank any nor eaten any food because we were still waiting on that. she said it was dirty an she did bring me another. It felt like that glass was used already. I couldn't believe it also the bathrooms stunk like a bar or gas station and were somewhat unclean. I feel as though if you are an upscale nice classy restaurant you could maybe hire someone to check the bathrooms periodically would be very nice

I do not like how gratuity is in the bill for a small party of 4. I do not feel like the girl who we had was worth the $30 we were forced to tip her. I also do not like the menu change. We went there exactly a year ago from the day we were there and it was 10000 times better. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to Sullivan’s I’m baltimore.

Great waiter,but other than that all else very mediocre. Seared tina was served ice cold meaning it was seared earlier and likely put in fridge . Bone in filet was fair at best . The crab cakes and salads were fine ....old school chain may be resting on it's laurels too much ..

Prices for entrees are totally extravagant but the portions are generous. Two of us split an ahi tuna appetizer, a Caesar salad, a Kentucky strip steak and an order of bread pudding for dessert. Everything was beautifully prepared and it was more than enough. The bill was still on the high end but not shocking and definitely worth it.

Our experience was just okay, I believe this restaurant has just gone down hill over the years. It was my husband's birthday and we were out to celebrate. When we first sat down, the restaurant just appeared un-kept/old. The table light had food stains on it and our bread plates were half washed, they scattered tons of flower petals on the table for the celebration, however, it made the table look dirty rather than chic. Looking around, the other clientele wore t-shirts and baseball hats. The hostess and servers were a little rough looking and not well dressed
(un-ironed shirts, skirts way too short and holes in their tights) it did not feel upscale.
However, we were greeted by a lovely server, who was terrific throughout the whole night. We ordered drinks, I got a dirty martini and my husband ordered a blue moon ( there were no premium/ specialty beers of interest). I expected an incredible martini since this was a steakhouse, it was sub-par and served in a VERY dirty martini glass ( gross, very disappointing). We ordered a salad and lobster bisque, lamb chops, pork chops and sides of brussel sprouts and Au gratin potatoes. These items were good and served very timely, but nothing that we would say was exceptional or that we even wanted boxed to take home. For dessert, I really wanted to order a chocolate martini, however, I decided not to since the first one was served so poorly. So my husband ordered just a coffee and with Key lime pie. He enjoyed both of these items. It was kind of the staff to comp the charge of the pie as a birthday treat.
We would not return back to Sullivan's after this experience, we much prefer Fleming's.

Sullivan's is our favorite steakhouse. The ambiance is lovely, the acoustics are excellent, the view is amazing, and the food is perfect every time. And I have to give a shout out to the staff--everyone, from the Valet parking person to the hostess to the food runner and wait staff--everyone is thoughtful and friendly.

I visited Sullivan's as a part of Baltimore City's restaurant week and I was not disappointed. My server, Terrence, provided us with extremely speedy service. The three courses were all remarkably delicious and I'm looking forward to returning back to take advantage of the other menu items.

For my three courses I chose the Shrimp & Lobster bisque, the 12oz. NY strip steak with green beans and horseradish mashed potatoes, and a decadent strawberry cheesecake for dessert.

I was blown away by the flavors, the quality, the portions, everything. I will be coming back. The only thing I'd probably change is for the staff to be a little warmer - but I understand the dinner service was probably their busier time of day.

When I sat down in the booth, I got glass in my hand. Removed it from my hand and gave it to the hostess that was seating us. - Never saw or heard from a manager. The place was dusty and dirty. Our food was relatively slow considering there were barely any people in the restaurant. My food arrived cold, I didn’t even eat one of my sides. The vegetables tasted frozen. Went to the bathroom and found the manager and staff were busy watching the football game instead of taking care of customers. Bathroom was filthy, one staw was broken, another was unusable. Two out of the three soap dispensers had no soap and the water wasn’t hot. The few tables in the restaurant were sat on top of each other. And the server at the table behind us was so loud that I couldn’t even hear my husband talking to me from across the table. This was our second poor experience here, we do not intend on returning.

It was our 23rd wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was wonderful, our server was polite and attentive. The food was poorly served. I asked for a bone in medium well. My steak was full of blood and the bone was completely burned. the second try came out over cooked and the bone was completely charred which caused the meat to have a crunchy, charred tasting and charred smelling sent. This killed the flavor of my steak and my moment to enjoy my meal because my husband had completed his meal at this point. The only thing we were able to tell our friends was; our server was kind so we gave him a nice tip in spite of.
