Terrible service. Went there twice and dinner took 3 hours both times. It took an hour just for bread and water. Food was great and employees where nice. I'm not sure why everything was so slow, but if you want a typical hour dinner, don't go there.
The waitress did not remember our orders and we had to remind her about our salads and the drinks that we ordered.
Great & friendly service
Best server ever - Rocky.
Great experience and phenomenal service
Food was tasty but my appetizer came out cold. My entree came out wrong. They barely gave me any sides. The wine was the best thing about the experience. Both valet and manager were rude. Server seemed overwhelmed
Our experience was bad from the start. The waiter knocked over a empty wine glass on the table which shattered everywhere. The waiter also spilled a cup of soup on my brother in law shoes. The worst was a steak served that had spoiled which we sent back. It stunk so bad. Tried one bite and had to spit it out. Left a foul taste in my mouth. Two of us got sick from tasting the steak. Our mixed drinks tasted watered down. The mgr did come over to help with the situation. He cut the bill in half. But the nice dinner planned was already ruined.
The service was horrible and even the steaks weren’t cooked correctly.
Our experience was not what we had experienced on earlier visits. The service was spotty at best with no attention to detail. A server brought our steak knives tp our table and dropped them into the middle of the table rather than placing them at our plates. Our waitress never asked about coffee at the conclusion of the meal. Even paying the check was confusing. We paid with gift cards and it appeared no one including a manager knew how to deal with these. It was a very unlike Sullivan's experience.
Although I will admit that the cowboy ribeye was the best steak I’ve had in a while, the vegetables were cold and not very good. Also, the service was the worst I’ve had in years. I was so disappointed by the entire experience from the lack of a fully set table to no one coming to the table for first 15 minutes we were seated. Will nit recommend nor go there on any future visits to Baltimore. All this with a reservation too. Not like we were walk-ins.
Although the food was good, the service, or lack of service made the entire experience bad. I go here very often, and this by far was my worst experience here.
3 of 4 steaks had to be sent back. Waitress agreed that they were cooked well done when we requested medium rare. There was zero pink whatsoever. When your paying $50+ per steak, I am not going to eat a well done steak.
Our waitress was on another planet. We repeatedly had to ask other waiters to help find our waitress.
Fantastic Ambiance Food and Service.
Raquelle was superb and an absolute asset to your establishment. There was a minor glitch that she recovered from the back up crew and the performed marvelously.
Meal was everything we thought it would be. A true 5 star experience.
It was so enjoyable we returned for Late night happy hour at the bar.
We have already told so many people about our experience and how great it was. We went for my boyfriends 30th birthday. The smile on his face was great, rose petals and a hand written birthday card from Sullivan's. The meal was amazing, just as it was a month ago! The server was accommodating and professional. We will definitely be going again when we are in town!
Running late from a meeting and got to bar at 645pm! Happy hour over at 7pm. Waitress was fantastic! Unfortunately, they were out of one of the appetizers but she came back to tell me they had one more order! How nice! Love their apps and wine! Great evening in between meetings!
There was a table that was extremely loud, the Brussels sprouts were over cooked and dried out. The filet was good but won’t go back
Rough evening here.
Service was par, however, the food really was bad. I had to send my filet ($45) back twice a d it was still not cooked to order-it was raw and I requested medium well. Did dishes were all over cooked, the bread was not fresh and the deserts were just ok. Nothing special, extremely overpriced for the quality of food. I had been to the Sullivans in Austin, TX years ago and it was phenomenal. You will find a better meal at Cheesecake Factory, really!
Been here many times for date night. Very quiet midweek. Amazing food, and wines.
It was my birthday and the food and service was horrible
Wine section and cocktails were all good. My father mentioned that so far "no one in Baltimore can make a decent old fashion," but said Sullivan's take on the drink was the best. The steaks all came out perfect. The sides items were good, but my preference for brussels sprouts is more roasted. The desserts were all wonderful. There was little check confusion related to item selection, but it was quickly resolved. The restaurant even provided a birthday card for my father.
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves immensely. The food was delicious and filling. Our waiter was very professional and advised us thoroughly about the menu. We will definitely revisit Sullivan’s Steakhouse.
Worst dinner and service ever of any dinner I have ever had at Sullivan’s or anywhere in my entire life. You ruined our Billy Joel concert
Party of 6 before Billy Joel. 515 sit. Left close to 8p. Sloooowwwwww. One hour + ticket times on food at best, and when the bar got backed up, it was 20-30 minutes for a drink at best. Server was personable as can be, and the welcome was great. But if the kitchen is backed up that much, they need better help or a better process. We made it to the show with maybe 10 minutes to spare.
We all got sick. Understaffed for the night of a concert. Really disappointed.
You would think that knowing that there was a major event in town, staffing would have been better. We were there for 2 1/2 hours...2 rounds of drinks, ran out of French onion soup, and our friends dinner was chilled shrimp and a salad. Wait staff was poor but don’t know if that was their problem. Management clueless about what was going on.
I came to eat here for the very first time and I wasn’t pleased at all. My waitress poured me a glass of water and it had hair in it. She gave me another glass of water. She had to clean my wine glasses three times. She took the first glass away giving me a new supposedly clean glass and it was dirty with food on it, I showed her she gave me another glass and it wasn’t cleaned. She apologized saying it must be the dish washer. My food was ok. My bill was $95.12 to much money for this kind of service. I don’t believe I’ll come back. My first time eating here and it was good. I’m a paying customer and I wasn’t satisfied. 😞
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals - everything we ate from the crab cake to the steak, scallops, and the vegetables were all extremely delicious! Our waitress, Rocky was the best! Simply put ... a fantastic experience!
69$ wagyu strip was one of the worst prepared and selected steaks I've ever had. I'm in the service industry, didn't send it back, just left very dissatisfied.
The place was very loud; could not hear my dinner partner speak.
Service was erratic; despite asking 3x, the bread did nor arrive until near the end of the entre.
Not enough staff for the prices which are excessive for what the experience and food are.
Clearly a venue for tourists and the uniformed.
One of the worst meals ever. Waiter was super nice, but the food was terrible. Creamed spinach and baked potato served cold and steak was over cooked. Twice.
Manager & server tried to explain that the kitchen wasn't staff properly apologized & we left we arrived 7:15 for a 7:30 reservations didn't get seated till 30 minutes later overall experience was awful
Our waitress was struggling to open the bottle of wine. She left the table to get the wine prior to taking the rest of the drink orders. The tray of meat that was brought to the table - stunk. One gentleman ordered soup & salad after the smell hit him. Another gentleman's steak was served cold. He sent it back and it still wasn't hot. He then ordered the lobster. The waitress brought the check without asking if we wanted dessert. The sea bass was very good.
Great food and drinks
The music was way to loud were I couldn’t even talk. My $40 steak was pure fat and literally got 5-6 bits out of it. My waiter was pacing back and forth so I felt rushed to order cause she would keep walking by the table to ask if we were ready. Overall waste of $100.
Our server, Dante, ( tall, slender with a Will Smith mannerisms) was conversant ,funny and engaging.
Unfortunately, my husband had 2 mishaps to happen, 1 he felt could have been avoided by being alert to the feel of the glasses; bottom of water glass separated from the bottom. It took a while before our water, and bread basket were replaced at another table. Then his salmon was over cooked and dry, however, his meal was comped and I will say thank you for that without us asking. My meal; the roasted pork chop was very good. I’m not confident that our waiter or any of the waiter, waitresses were well versed in helping to pair a wine or cocktail with customer meals and that I’m sure is the difference between you and Ruth Chris steakhouse. Yes, I would visit again when visiting Baltimore.
The restaurant was not busy but the waiter was disorganized. I had to ask for a glass of wine four times. My salad was prepared tableside. I did not have a glass of water nor my glass of wine. It was disappointing
Even though the food was good, we won’t return to Sullivan’s. We did not feel valued as customers, especially at a fairly high-end establishment. Here’s one example of several things that occurred. We ordered a baked potato to share. One half was bad, with black spots inside the potato. No problem, this happens. But when we suggested it come off our bill, the manager took off only half!! Who does that.
