    Enjoyable dinner out with family. The service was excellent and the food so delicious. Guys had steak, filet and the ribeye. Ladies grouper and salmon. All cooked to perfection. The oyster appetizer was divine. The six of us enjoyed the family time at this favorite restaurant.

    We had a great evening out with some friends. The atmosphere and food was simply splendid. The restaurant was decorated so nicely. Our server Anna was delightful and attentive to our needs. We love this restaurant!

    Always great everything! Maybe a little music? Wait staff two thumbs up, kitchen staff two thumbs up! We love Anna and Angie! Can’t have anymore fun than those two. I’m sure the others are just as great also! Can’t beat the food anywhere and the specials are well, special!

    Be sure to save room for dessert- it was our favorite part. ( Although the potato cakes under my Petite Filets were also amazing.) A very pleasant environment in the lovely downtown area, and the service was excellent.

    We ate here on a Friday for lunch. The restaurant was almost empty. It took about 10 minutes for a server to approach us. Our espresso martinis were tasty but seemed more like a chocolate martini. My husband's salmon was ordered medium rare and arrived well. It and the risotto came on a small dessert plate, with the salmon having two pieces, each about the size of a fifty cent piece. It was embarrassing small, to be one of their "main events" and there was no basil or tomato. My fried green tomatoes were pretty good,, well portioned but the chowchow was not the standout accompaniment that it was in the past...it was only pickled cabbage with a few jalapenos in it. And, the tomatos were not hot and crispy. The smash burger was the best prepared item...good sized and well plated. The crabcake, to be the most expensive appetizer, was small and lonely on the small plate with a piece of okra beside it. It was definitely not their most stellar presentation. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, maybe they should close earlier for lunch and have only one seating. Maybe we should have eaten somewhere else.

    Grouper portion small and rice accompaniment weak. Two twin filets small and not done according to request. As, Led for medium rare and spine was medium well other was medium. Calamari appetizer was excellent.Salad very good. For the price the portions were small . we expected more, having been customers for almost 7 years.

    Sullivan’s has been our “go to” for a fine dining experience. I’ll start with service, which was EXCELLENT. Amber was top notch. Appetizer was very good. Low country crab dip. Salads were fresh and very good. Entrees. My husband had the Trigere del mere (sp?), based on my ordering it at one of our previous outings. Mine came with large scallops, shrimp, and some other fish I cannot remember. It was served on risotto. His was served with two small scallops, a white fish folded over that resembled an omelette, on yellow rice. He was very disappointed- the scallops were the best part of the entree. I ordered the special surf & turf. The pork and potatoes were fantastic. The shrimp were served in tact in the shell, which was messy. And the shrimp was very mushy. For what we paid, we were very disappointed. It was definitely not worth what we paid.

    It is always a wonderful environment with delicious food. However I ordered a deft beer wanting to taste something from the local brewery and the waitress never brought it to the table . A little disappointing but halfway through the dinner I figured it was too late to ask again. The charge was on our bill but when we addressed it, she was very apologetic that she forgot and fixed our bill immediately . Always a great place to go enjoy a meal. We will always return to this amazing restaurant!!

    We always enjoy Sullivan’s. Great staff, love the menu and many selections from which to choose. Sarah was a very good server and both our meals were excellent. They have a fairly complete but smaller wine list and many selections by the glass. The restaurant was noisy last night with celebrating Clemson fans so a bit louder than usual but good to hear folks enjoying the victory. My wife’s pan seared salmon was very tasty and cooked perfectly while my twin filets au poivre were prepared as ordered and quite tender. The accompanying potato cakes with sautéed spinach were a delicious treat! Some key lime pie and fresh decaf topped off a very enjoyable anniversary celebration.

    First time eating at Sullivans since moving to SC. Jaden explained the menu to us, super attentive, knowledgeable, friendly….ordered the Just for me martini, pistachio crusted trout. Done to perfection..to end the amazing dinner key lime pie…The food dances in your mouth! The atmosphere reminded me of the French quarters in New Orleans.

    I was disappointed after seeing all of the positive reviews for this restaurant. I have definitely had better meals in Anderson, SC for a lot less. The meal started off well with a tasty risotto appetizer, but when the lobster bisque’s arrived, it went downhill. I have had better lobster bisque at McAllister‘s deli. Two of the three main entrées were good, but they were all lukewarm. The stuffed pork chops arrived over cooked and dry. For the prices, I expected a lot more. I was also surprised when I paid the bill to be charged a six dollar fee to utilize a credit card. I would expect that from a food truck or small business vendor, not a restaurant. We will certainly be looking at other places in the future.
