   Based on our last visit to Sula we could not wait to invite our friends to join us here. It did not disappoint! Our server was amazing! He was so friendly and was able to help guide us on which menu items we might enjoy. He was right! Food was delicious. Can't wait to go back!

   Our second time here, and we enjoyed the experience. The Indian themed cocktails were fantastic. The appetizers, especially the vada pav (a Bombay street food specialty), were excellent. Our main course was delicious too, especially the lamb chops.

   We reserved a table for four for a business meal. When we arrived we’d been put on the patio… which is a plastic covered outside space. It was -3 degrees. The front of house person calmly explained that this just was what they did and that there was heating. This despite the one group that was outside were all wearing puffer jackets while eating. The restaurant doesn’t alert you that they are doing this, nor do they give you an option when reserving to be inside or on the patio. In the end the restaurant did fix the situation and we were allowed to sit inside. Right next to the door, which the Uber Eats drivers kept leaving jammed open. Sula is a great restaurant and I would recommend the Commercial Drive location. I would NOT recommend the Main Street location during winter or if you are having anything more than a casual meal.

   Butter chicken, a very popular dish we’ve had everywhere, but Sula has more depth with this dish. You can taste the different flavours that are more flat at other Indian restaurants. Lamb vindaloo was tender and very flavourful, simmering in that vindloo sauce. We also HIGHLY recommend the Dahi Puri appy. my favourite Indian street food.

   We took the advantage of Dine Out Vancouver to try this restaurant, knew nothing about Indian cuisine. Initially we were impressed with the decor, which included lots of live plants, and then were impressed with the friendly and attentive service, and then were impressed with the tasty food! We enjoyed all the dishes and they're full of exotic flavours.

   We went for the 2023 Dine Out menu and the food was amazing, and portion sizes were just right. We were there with a 11 months old, the staff were super friendly and accommodating to our needs (high chair, space for the stroller, mild spice level for certain dishes). Can't wait to come back and try other dishes from their menu

    Just absolutely incredible food. The lamb rogaan josh was amazing, and the chicken biryani was perfect. Can’t say enough good things about this place. 11/10 would recommend.

    We didn’t like our table close to the kitchen. Staff was really accommodating & gave us a better seat as long as we promised to be out by 7 pm. Easy as this was just after 5. The food was amazing. I’ll definitely be returning to Sula!

    I prefer this location over the Commercial's one. Very nice decor with a bigger menu / alcohol selection. The restaurant wiped up some wicked cocktail. Love the lamb chop dish, specifically the presentation. Plan to re-visit shortly.

    As always, everything was outstanding! I absolutely love the presentation of the food, let alone the food itself. I went with a friend who I hadn’t seen in 2 1/2 years, and between catching up we marvelled at how delicious and beautiful everything was. I will definitely be returning.
