   Our experience at Sugo was disappointing. I made a reservation well in advance for a family celebration and was required to secure it with a credit card due to their strict cancellation policy ($20 per person if canceled late). Just two hours before our reservation, the restaurant called to say they were no longer open for lunch and asked us to move to dinner. This last-minute change completely disrupted our plans. Many in our party were no longer able to attend. The most disheartening part was the restaurant’s response. They simply said, “I’m sorry, we overlooked your reservation,” and offered no real apology or compensation. For a restaurant that holds its guests to strict standards, I expected far better treatment. While the food was fine, the lack of consideration soured what should have been a special celebration.

   The food isn’t worth the price to be honest. You could go to nothing but noodles and pay less for better food. My boyfriend said the noodles that came with the Chicken Parmesan tasted weird and my Fettuccine Alfredo didn’t have many shrimp and had way too much pepper. The drinks were okay, I got the Tiramis’u and my boyfriend for their new drink, Cause-mo? If you want to go somewhere nice and spend your monies worth, choose somewhere else to go

   Charming location, but the restaurant clearly struggled to handle the busy event weekend. Despite having a reservation, we were seated 20 minutes late. The floor around our table was soaked, and the chair I was given was wet—ruining my skirt before the meal even began. The staff was doing their best, but the kitchen didn’t deliver. My chicken parm was badly overcooked, clearly left too long in the fryer, and then buried under provolone in an attempt to mask it.This spot has potential, but until they learn to manage crowds and maintain quality under pressure, I wouldn’t return during a busy weekend.

   Our waiter Gannon was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made us feel welcome from start to finish and elevated our dining experience with his perfect timing and thoughtful service. We’ll definitely be asking for him again!

   Very nice restaurant with good pasta dishes. Would recommend and the price point was better than expected.

   Our 2nd visit-hoping for better food. After being seated our server handed us the menu a/wine list! Within minutes she returned, immediately asking for our order! I had to tell her we had no time to look! We travel to Italy all the time! A principle of Italian dining is not to rush! It was nit cruised so not sure why the rushing! We started w/bruschetta which was good but would have preferred I toasted bread. My veal Parmesan was made mediocre by a heavy slathering of provolone cheese rather than parmesan in Italy, hence the name! Sauce was mediocre, very little taste! A little fresh basil could improve the appearance + flavor! Just do not understand why simple recipes are not used!

   Food was not good. Steak was fatty and salty. Pork made my husband nauseated. Soup and bread were edible. We wont be going back.

    The food and atmosphere were both good. Our waitresses was great. The portions were kind of small, and they don’t bring bread to the table, which we thought was unusual for an Italian restaurant. Overall it was good and we would go again.
